Took 5 mins extra to decide what we wanted to order. 45 minutes later..no food and they blamed that as the reason. I nearly walked out without paying for the milkshakes but im not like that. Paid for the drinks and left hungry. Don't help that I'm diabetic...

Never had a bad meal here , they are so polite and friendly, the food is great .

Nice food and very polite staff and owners.

The restaurant is very clean and the seats are very spacious. The waiter greeted me proactively. In terms of food, the milkshake was average. The pork chop was overcooked and dry. The price is average.

8.30 am and not too many people having breakfast, but I stayed for about 30 minutes and lots more people arriving when I left. Excellent breakfast, speedy and friendly service. Thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast!

The eggs are cooked perfectly. The bread is toasted to perfection and buttered evenly. The bacon has a beautiful and crispy texture. The flavour of the beans were amazing and the temperature of the beans were perfect for eating when served. There are a million more good things I could say about this place but it would just be too long. Also, props to the staff for being very welcoming and just overall amazing.

I would like to suggest visit once, coffee was too good.

very caring staff, when saw us with our son on a wheelchair he ran to open the door for us and offered to put the ramp and helped us to get in. The other staff saw an elderly couple and same, ran to the door helped and let them in. Offered child a glass of milk instead of fizzy drink. Even ready with sweetener for someone with diabetes. So lovely and very pleasant to everyone.

The staff are always pleasant with excellent customer service, the food is always tasty and yet also affordable. I did try a crafty cafe up the road last year who raised their prices somewhere between me ordering from the menu and having eaten a meal, since then I decided to stick to Star Cafe as they are honest. I use this cafe regularly and won't be going anywhere else!

Been ordering from this café for over 10 years. I have tried them all and this is the best Café in the high street.

I am a frequent visitor to Star Cafe and have recommended this venue to anyone who stands still long enough to listen to me. Usually pop in for lunch, although Breakfast is sometimes called for and I've been there in the evening for the occasional Diner. The food is excellent, well prepared and presented and of course Delicious. The Staff are lovely and always helpful and friendly. If you haven't tried Star Cafe yet, then drop in some day soon and enjoy a great meal in a busy but cozy atmosphere.

It was ok reasonably priced but says on the menu tell them about food allergens and they stated nothing safe for ceolic to eat

Was really nice, never visited the establishment before. The omelette, chips and beans I had filled a very large plate. It was nice and tasty. Excellent value for money. Will visit there again.

Visited this cafe many times, the reason being you get great service from the staff and they serve good food with good portions. No matter what time you go in for a meal, of any type, you are treated very well by the staff. The breakfasts set you up for the day, their lunch meals are huge, and if you want to take a break from doing your own Sunday dinner, they have a choice of many, all being very good. The roast beef is my favourite. Try it once and you won't regret it, you will go back.

This is nice cafe in the middle of Orpington High Street. Inside, the cafe is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. The menu includes a good selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner choices, all at a reasonable price and nicely cooked. Generous portions too. Very good.
