Wow. There are no words in my vocabulary that can describe how great this restaurant is. Firstly the appearance is Harry Potter cool. The food is Gordan Ramsey unbelievable and the staff are polite, friendly, attentive and all have a great sense of humour as well as a great sense of respect for ‘us’ and all other guests.

Had a lovely evening with family, only got a pic of the dessert but I had the prawn cocktail starter with a sea bream and a virgin mint mojito which was all lovely! Great staff and great cooking ❤️

I wouldn't recommend this place. We sat down and the table was sticky on top and underneath not good. Food wasn't particularly good.

Amazing food and service, we always have a great time here at Denny's, the food selection is delicious and the staff welcoming and very attentive.

I went to Denny's for the first time 6 years ago. The food tasted good back then. However upon my recent visit I ordered the lobster Thermidor and I was really disappointed. The sauce was not a Thermidor sauce and tasted more like a mushroom sauce. The lobster was not fresh and tasted spongy as if it had been stored in the freezer too long and warmed up in a microwave. We were also charged for table water which should be free and only noticed when the bill came. Spent over £100 pounds for food that was inedible. They also charged for the vegetables which you would assume is part of the meal. Check your bill and ask questions if you decide to go to Denny's.

We have a great dinner here. Excellent foods with good atmosphere. Highly recommend the skate wing with black butter sauce. Also what seafood combination, it serves with lobster sauce.

Ordered lobster Thermidor. Found the lobster separated from the shell. Half a lobster for 40 quid. Lobster was not fresh and tasted rubbery. The sauce itself was not a Thermidor sauce and tasted more like a sauce from a packet that was warmed up in a microwave. Thank god the waiter was personable! Decor quirky enough but not worth the money as the quality doesn’t match. Also they charged water and veg sides we didn’t ask for (only realised when we checked the receipt!!!

Amazing food, attentive service and reasonable prices for seafood. Highly recommend!

Prawn cocktail starter, brown lettuce, mediocre prawns, the one big prawn hadn’t been de veined from poo. The monkfish was tiny had huge bone in every piece, far too much tasteless coconut sauce. House white fine but over priced. Husband had amazing oysters to start but seafood main had strong overpowering curry taste.

We used to love this place, the food used to be fantastic along with the service, we hadn't been for over 7 years as we had moved far away. We decided to take the 1.5hour drive back to enjoy what we once knew. Unfortunately that will just be a memory now, we were crammed in at the bottom the stairs, the service was very poor and although the menu was the same, the food was not. Sorry to say, last time for us, left so disappointed!

First visit on Friday night. Excellent Food. Great service. Fab atmosphere. Will be booking again.

Hadn't been here for years so, as we've worked so hard this week, I thought we deserved a treat and a special meal out. Called and left a message to book a table and was promptly called back with confirmation. Table for 2 wasn't the best spot, and a little small, but didn't detract from the evening. Food was lovely and service was good, might have had a second glass of wine if offered earlier though. Throughly enjoyed ourselves though and won't leave it so long to return.

Honestly, the best place to eat fresh fish i know in the area. Tasty food, unique decoration, and reasonable price. My go to place when in need of seafood!

Cool setting and friendly service but the food is just frozen seafood on scallop shells to look fresh. Dressed crab was clumpy and felt spooned out of a frozen can. Lobster was the smallest lobster I’ve ever had for £40. No claws. More like a big tiger prawn. Really not worth it. Sad given the concept and location is great.

Came here last night for my nans 84th birthday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was quick and food was amazing! First time coming here and I had calamari to start, fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and a chocolate gateau to finish!

This is a unique restaurant located inside the train station. It's a bit old school in here but I think that's part of the charm. Food is good but not amazing - but that's ok and I'd like to come back again to try some more dishes. For parking, use the train station car park.

From the second you walk in to the lovely complimentary bread to the fresh oysters to the main dishes everything is perfect. One of my favourite local restaurants, after my 6th visit it definitely won’t be my last.

Paella was great with nice flavour and plenty of it, only criticism if I were being picky is that the prawns could be a lot bigger. Nice ice cold (bottled) beer. Lovely setting. Clean toilets

Top marks all round- such a quirky and cosy place- with really friendly service and incredibly fresh and delicious seafood and fish. Everything we had was delicious- paired well with a lovely Pinot Grigio. Will both highly recommend and return frequently. Well done.

Oysters and lobsters are their specialty, also are my favorite, nice and friendly service, the oranges with grand marnier is a lovely dessert to finish with.

Lovely impromtu meal at Denny's. We called before hand to book a table and they had one free! We have been once before, pre-pandemic and our return did not disppoint! Had the seabream special which was delicious. Lovely house wine too. Thank you to our server Laura, who was lovely. Will return!

Totally top marks for all aspects of Dennys. The food was amazing, hot, and flavoursome, I couldn't get enough of the 3 courses I had. The staff were all friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The secret door off the waiting room in the station makes you feel like you've travelled into another world. Can not wait to go back

My parents go here for special occasions, they say the staff are lovely, food outstanding and an excellent experience.

The restaurant is inside the train station. So if it's your first visit, dont drive past looking for a separate building like we did. My wife had made a reservation via Instagram that the lady at the door had no knowledge of, but a quick check with someone else, and we were shown to a table for 2 very, very slim people. As a bit of a tubby 47 year old man was way too small to sit at comfortably. The restaurant has an 80's feel and not in a good way. The decor is very dated and could do with updating. That said it was very busy and the food was lovely, so what do I know! If they had a bigger table though I would have felt more comfortable and would have ordered all 3 courses rather than just a main meal.

A cosy restaurant inside Chislehurst train station. I loved the interior decor and the feel of the place. The food was also very good and portions were decent. A good variety of seafood on offer. Our table was tucked away in a corner of the restaurant and we were worried that we would be forgotten about but the service was very good and the waiters were hospitable. The only downside was that we were given the table by the toilet entrance. But overall, would recommend - probably need to book as the restaurant gets quite busy on the weekend!

Went with family for my birthday had great food which is reasonably priced but meal got spoilt by waitresses trying to rush us for next customers due in at 8-15pm even though our table was booked for 6-30pm without behold that we only had a period time at table to this I replied I'm not being dictated to has to how long I have when paying good money rude. Didn't leave till 9-30pm

Amazing evening with food cooked to perfection. Whatever we asked for, they went above and beyond. Service A1. We had Dover Sole which was tender and perfectly cooked. All the sides were delicious and dessert to die for . Highly recommend and we will be going back!

Visited as a group of 4 and we all had a fabulous evening. All main courses were fantastic, ranging from dover sole to a fish combination. Generous portions and good value for the quality of food. Let down by expensive beverages, a single shot of Baileys cost £7.95! Rather steep and definitely more costly than most restaurants. Our bill for 4 ppl including service charge was £270, not somewhere I can visit often due to the expensive drinks. Maybe next time I will just go for food and avoid any alcohol? But then that wouldn’t be a fully enjoyable dining experience as I do enjoy a Prosecco with my meal and a Baileys for afters.

Met with family Saturday evening and had a lovely meal. Restaurant is housed in the railway station building at Chislehurst which is a bit unusual. Parking in the station car park is fairly easy. Service excellent, food very good. Had sea bream and husband had skate. All served with fresh vegetables. Everyone had an enjoyable evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

An amazing environment, had our anniversary there and the service was second to none, food was amazing and the atmosphere was so warm, thanks for the free shots, we will surely be back again.

We just popped in for a quick lunch before our train and definitely regret not staying longer. It’s such an amazing place, hidden inside a train station. Very unassuming from outside but once you enter it’s a great decor and ambiance. If you love fish and seafood this restaurant should be on your list. We’ll definitely be back soon!

The second time we've dined here for a birthday. Food and service is excellent. If you want a good fish restaurant (they serve meat and pasta dishes as well) then it's worth paying for the quality of meals they produce. Our go-to fish restaurant.

Hidden gem. Quality is the best. If you think there is not very good fish restaurants in South East London. All I can say is, you haven't tried the Dennys. Perfect food perfect quality.

Food is ok, but I don't recommend the fish soup. I've made a reservation for 9 people but at the end 2 of my friends were sick so couldn't join and I was charged £20 for the no-show fee which they never communicated the terms & conditions over the phone to me. It comes to a surprise to me as we spent almost £40 each for 7 of us. They said they would speak to the restaurant and come back to me but never did. They have permanently lost these customers and I would not recommend them.

The food was really tasty, not amazing but good value for money, would of been nice if it included some sides and not paid extras. We enjoyed the starters and the time between starter and main was well balanced. We weren’t asked if we wanted more drinks when ours had finished and nobody checked on us throughout the meal, the service was slightly disappointing but it was busy. We came for our anniversary and enjoyed ourselves, unfortunately we got so hot upstairs that we cut the meal short and left as we felt uncomfortable, the AC units were available but not turned on. Would try again and hope for a more comfortable experience.

I have been to Denny many times and always had beautiful food .. I was so disappointed with the paella very dry and burnt .. starters was great but didn’t seem to have to same level of service

What can I say this place is a proper hidden gem! Situated at Chiselhurst Station the door itself could easily missed as its off the ticket office. Inside there is a rustic but authentic feel and the place feels cosy and friendly with staff being really welcoming. The seafood menu itself is great with a good selection. Often I look at a menu and only see one or two things I fancy but I can honestly say I would have happily tried most of the menu given the chance. What I did end up having after finally making my mind up was delicious (mussels for a starter and lobster for a main). It tasted really fresh and I simply couldn't fault it. Now I know about this place I can't wait to go back!

Great service and food! Took my wife there for a date one evening. There’s parking outside which I believe is also used by commuters. Service was very friendly and food arrived very quickly. We had some oysters, scallops, mussels and paella and all were very nice. Would defo recommend and go again!

Denny's is located in the most unusual of places in the Waiting Room of Chislehurst Station, which I think could add to its incredible popularity. The Inside of the Restaurant is decorated with all the tool's of the Fishing Trade, lobster pots and the like which gives a fabulous atmosphere and popularity here is off the scale. The Food and Service was first class. A Team of efficient and hard working staff. Highly recommended.

What a delicious meal! A restaurant in the station, what a amazing idea . We were welcomed in and seated quick. I know the owners of the restaurant and was so good to catch up with the family. It brought back lots of great memories. I had the white bait to start which was a nice light starter and was perfect to have . For my main meal I had the brie muscles and they were cooked to perfection. Top marks throughout and looking forward to returning again soon 😋

Had an absolutely amazing time last night at this fantastic restaurant. The food was incredible ( I ordered sea bass), the ambience was cosy and intimate and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. I highly recommend this place.

My wife, God-daughter, and I had a perfect evening at Dennys Lobster & Oyster Seafood restaurant- our very first visit!.... I for one very impressed with all aspects at Dennys - rather a novelty at first site within the location ( on Chislehurst railway station) and inside the restaurant with its 'quirky' decor, fittings and interesting old time maritime framed wall paintings along with all other period furnishings. Although not totally spacious in floor space ( originally part of the station!), I found an embracing cosiness and a warm welcoming reception from very friendly staff and owners. Thank you to the kind generosity of staff with their efficient service and in looking after us so well, and who also took photos of us at our table for memory keepsakes. Also to passing useful information about the adjacent parking alongside the restaurant and station. The seafood was absolutely memorable and delicious in every way - professionally cooked and presented. I myself a big seafood lover, I praise the food admirably. The atmosphere nicely balanced with the Spanish music in the background too. We arrived at Dennys at 1900 pm and left very happily at around 2030pm more than satisfied. More customers were begining to arrive later with nearly all tables taken. And yes 👍, we will definately return. All the very best to the owners and staff at this delightful restaurant - and thank you so much for your warm kind hospitality and brilliant seafood.🦀🦞🦐🦪 Chris.

You wouldn't expect to find this place in a train station ! The place is amazing, very impressed with the staff and delicious food! I definetely reccomend this place!

Disappointing, not the experience it once was. The service and view (of a room full of junk) left a lot to be desired given they include a service charge. The front of house staff, sullen and unattentive, are letting down the chefs who are producing good food.

Great venue, excellent service, fab menu, warm & friendly atmosphere, nothing to criticise, everything to praise & all set in an old railway station waiting room........truly awesome
