Best sushi in Bromley, hands down. Some of the best I've ever had. Super fresh and crispy gyōza, and the sushi rolls are outstanding. The service was fast, and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of sushi you get. Also you can eat it in the Craft Beer Cabin two doors down so you can have amazing beer with your sushi. Will definitely get dinner here again!

The best sushi I’ve ever eaten! Ordered from Montagu’s and ate at nearby Craft Beer Cabin, this was so beautiful. I ordered the Veggie Sushi Box - four japanese omelette nigiri, six veg and cream cheese uramaki, six avocado maki & two tofu sweet tofu nigiri - which for £16 was exceptional value. Friendly service, fresh food, absolutely sensational!

One of the best Sushi places locally. As a family, we really enjoy our sushi, trying dozens of restaurants across London. We feel we have enough years eating Japanese to really recognise what's good and what isn't. Montagu's have moved away from the apps (e.g. Just Eat), which is fine - we don't mind going directly for the quality. Whilst at the higher pricing range, Montagu's is consistently a high standard with a diverse selection of more complex dishes. Fantastic.

Fresh, tasty sushi - truly Japanese flavours and perfect for all the family. Don’t let the basic, tiny interior put you off - Montague’s is more set up for deliveries and collection, but my family and I ate there a few nights ago and the food was delicious. We will definitely be visiting again and ordering online. The best sushi we have tried in Bromley.

It was so good I made myself write this review to convince others to try. I had the chicken soup and wasn’t expecting much but it was the best chicken soup I think I’ve ever had. You only need to look at all the other excellent reviews to know you’re missing out if you don’t eat at Montagu Sushi soon!

Discovered this place recently and can’t quite believe how good it is! Some of the best sushi we’ve had and just around the corner from us too. I always order the chicken noodle soup as it’s so tasty and such good value! Run by a lovely family too :)

I got a takeaway from Montagus. I decided to try them because they were really well priced compared to most sushi restaurants. This might’ve been a risk but fortunately it paid off and the food was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Give these guys a go and you won’t be disappointed!

Great family with amazing talent and taste for sushi. Totally recommended. My wife have IBS and this place suits her perfect because they use fresh top quality ingredients and put attention into about removing certain ingredients at request.

Stunning sushi at very competitive prices in little Bromley! We ordered the large 72 piece platter which was beautifully presented. The staff are lovely - polite and always happy to help out. It's a cosy little place with limited seating so be sure to book a table in advance to reserve your spot. If you're in the area, strongly suggest popping in :-)

THE best sushi by miles for miles! Excellent cuts of various seafoods, soft fluffy light rice make for an honest delicate flavourful experience. Very reasonably priced. Friendly warm owners, enthusiastic about the quality and proudly knowledgeable of the craft. Have ordered a variety and repeat dishes and quality is consistent. Absolute favourite. Well done guys!!

Shared a great dinner in here. Wonderful and exceptional taste of japanese delicacy. Ordered the few various susuhi,sashimi and nigiri to complete the hunger. It didnt disappointed. Best sushi I have ever had and such incredible value. Worth eating in as prices are cheaper but well worth paying the extra if you have it delivered. All made from scratch and incredibly fresh. Will be a regular for us now! Owners are also so lovely and welcoming.

I had dinner in this amazing Japanese restaurant this evening! The customer service is really good, everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. The food was delightful, this is the best Japanese that I have tasted in London. I didn't struggle finding vegan food for me! I had vegetable tempura, vegan roll uramaki, vegetable tempura uramaki and plain rice with soya souce. Definitely will be back as soon as possible.

I picked up a take away order for my first visit this week. Really lovely service and the sushi was freshly made but it was nice without being anything particularly great. I bought two rolls (California and salmon and avocado) and enjoyed eating them but without either being on a par with other sushi places in the area. Will probably try again in future.

Fantastic sushi here. When you first arrive, it doesn't exactly feel like a normal sushi restaurant as there is slightly limited seating. But you're then greeted with such friendly service, supremely chill ambience and the most gorgeous sushi you've had in years. It felt like being invited into a friend's house, but your friend has a master sushi chef hiding in the kitchen out back. I recommend the dragon roll, which was a delicately constructed masterpiece. I also recommend the tempura prawn, which was so good it had each of us rolling our eyes back in our head like we were being serviced. You can also bring your own booze. 10/10 would lunch again.

The only fresh sushi we’ve found in Bromley - after living in Japan the past 6 years. The other places around are convenience-store level, sitting around refrigerated. Freshness makes a big difference - especially for the rice. This place tries hard and it’s appreciated. Would love to see more types of fish and green tea on the menu. We’ll definitely be back (and order delivery, too). Try it out! Support a family business!

Has to be some of the worse sushi we have had, and we eat a lot of this amazing cuisine. We had 4 rolls and every single one of them had rice that was too sticky, almost to the point of it been like uneditable. They covered the rolls in far too much sauce and the quality of the fish is poor, so much so, most ended up in the bin. A very expensive mistake. We won’t be ordering from here again.

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the area and easily competes with top restaurants in London. There is no comparison when it comes to the high quality food, freshly made rice (extremely important when it comes to sushi) and friendly service. They are also very accommodative with allergies.

This was my first visit here. I was very impressed with the service and the sushi. The man behind the counter was very patient and talked me through the menu options. The portions were larger than expected and I over ordered. It was all lovely though.

They really listen really help you with your order and the food is delicious once again thank you for taking my feedback and and for being open and understanding definitely have to give them 5 Stars

I had most delicion sushi from long time after coming to uk and service was very good we had dine in the atmosphere is lovely decorated and nicely staff was friendly. We have been to this place based on comments and not disapointed. Special Katsu Curry, delicious and very reasonable priced sushi with a mind blowing wasabi. Mostly a take away place and not much table to sit but luckily we are local.

I rarely write negative reviews but the service in this place has warranted this one. Was looking forward to trying this place as they had vegan options. When I first went in the server was helpful and friendly and said they could make me a vegan box which wasnt on the menu yet and went through in detail what he was going to put in it. Told me the order would be 15-20mins. It took them 45mins in the end with no apology or updates while I was standing at the counter. By the time the order came I was holding a crying baby outside - no apology was given for the delay and even though my hands were clearly full with a pram and a baby he offered no help. Instead a lovely Uber driver helped put the food in my pram. Once I got home I discovered the order was short of one piece which we agreed would be in the vegan box. I called them and again no apology was offered instead they told me it was deliberately not included because it wouldn’t fit in the box! Eventhough I already paid for it and they could just not give me the decorative lettuce and it would’ve fit! I would’ve even eaten the piece on the spot after that near hour standing outside wait but nothing was said about it when the order was handed over. He even tried to justify this some more to say they usually charge for menu alterations and that he already gave me more of something else (none of these were mentioned at the time we discussed the menu and agreed at the order stage). Will not be returning or recommending after this dishonest service. Very disappointed!
