I wanted to visit and try Pan Fried Sea bass for longtime, but finally made on last January. We tried 3 starters , with chicken chilli, Chicken MoMo & soft cell crab- I mostly like Crab, however chilli & MoMo were also nice. Then for main We tried Lamb Biryanis, Pan Fried Sea Bass- the food were outstanding, the sauce of sea bass was so flavourful and delicious. And the Biryani was so light and fluffy and flavourful. The restaurant was itself so clean and hygienic and staff very attentive and professional. I will definitely revisit here soon again. 100% Recommendations …

We were sceptical at first because of the reviews but went for it anyway because of the 40% off. Me and my partner were blown away! Probably the best Indian food we have had in the UK! The paneer butter masala was incredible and had a hint of spice to it too which was just perfect. The naan breads were incredible and soft too, also gave us free chutney and extra poppadoms! Safe to say we will definitely be ordering from here again!!!

Very unimpressed. Really nice food as usual, BUT the app said the food had been delivered when it had not (Ring doorbell can verify). We tried to call the restaurant to chase for about 20 minutes but they would not answer. Ultimately we had to drive to the restaurant and no manager was available. We appreciate its Valentine’s Day and so demand is higher, but orders should not be accepted if the restaurant cannot deliver.

Order never showed up, no one picking up the phone. Not what I would expect from ginger and spices. Normally the best curry in Bromley, not anymore. Submitted refund request.

45 - 60 mins it said . food was apparently out for delivery just after 60 mins , said it was delivered 20 mins later but hadn't been . tried to contact resturant but no answer. food turned up 30mins later and was cold . nearly 2 hour waiting on food is not acceptable . reading the reviews this seems to be a regular thing , definitely will not be ordering from here again

This is the best Indian by far and I’ve tried them all. Good food and great value every time.

Stick to eating in. Food tasted pretty good but “30-50 mins” delivery was over 90. Don’t commit to deliveries if you’re too busy.

This restaurant is very rude, staff can’t take a simple order. When ordering please get them to read your order back 3/4 times. I ordered from here for years but never again. Customer service is seriously lacking.

Visited this restaurant just before and over the Christmas period. We've been finding it difficult to find a place that serves fresh authentic Indian cuisine since moving to the area eight years ago. We've now found it. King Prawn Puree starter was fresh, tasty and a generous size. The bhuna main was made with good quality chicken. My partner had a paneer dish on both occasions, which she raves about. Friendly service as well and great value. Keep it up!

Ordered for 7.30, delivered on time and food was hot and fresh. Our meals were excellent (as always) - the lamb biryani and brinjal sabzi are stand out for us. It’s the best Indian in the Chislehurst area by a mile!

We come here for Lunch the waiter mentioned to us that the menu was new and pointed out the dishes which we have not tried before .The guy waiter(forgotten his name is very good .) The food is cooked to order and the ingredients is so fresh as always.They will add what spices you like you just have to tell the waiter and take out spices that you don't want.The food is always pipping hot when it comes to the table.

We went for Lunch and the food as always was amazing. They have a new menu which had different things on which was nice to try. The waiter(sorry the forgot his name the guy explained to our what was new on the menu).The food is cooked to order and always hot and fresh their ingredients are to a high standard.

Food came late after I had booked a delivery time. Was still not hot and also lacking in flavour when we eventually managed to eat!

the food was awful, the rice was really spicy but the currys had no flavour at all, the nan bread and onion bhaji were soggy. was an overall disappointment. definitely dont recommend this restaurant

This was the tastiest curry we’ve had delivered in this area… it’s such a shame it was 45mins late (40 mins after app said it had been delivered and a total from order to delivery of 90mins). Will definitely continue to eat in the restaurant, but will think twice about ordering deliveries from there.

Yet again a truly wonderful meal at this lovely restaurant. We come here a lot, this meal was probably the best ever. Totally delicious, authentic, beautifully cooked food that was mouth-wateringly good. It is pure joy to eat wonderful food, but coupled with the lovely staff who cannot do enough for you, that makes it super special. Oh, coupled with a delicious Marguerita cocktail too, our experience will stay with me a long time!

Far too late without communication from the restaurant

So disappointing- after all of these great reviews we thought we would try a new takeaway but having ordered at 7.30 and promised food within the hour, here we are at 9pm with no food. We have rung to chase the food and been told that the chef is hurrying as best he can, giving us the impression it is not even on its way. Lots of ‘sorrys’ but no offer to recompense apart from a free drink which we really don’t want - two hungry kids, two hungry adults, we want food. If we were completely forgotten about, which we strongly suspect must be the case, please just be honest and then do something to put it right.

The staff are the most incredible team! They go above and beyond and really get to know all their customers. We sit down and they know our order for drinks!! The lamb chops are incredible!

Great tasty food, will defo order again!

Ordered a dinner from Ginger&Spices through Deliveroo and woke up at 4am with acute stomach pain, which subsided only by 8am. My wife who had the tasted the same dish experienced similar symptoms. I'm local to Chislehurst and have been to the restaurant before - good service and convenient location on the High Street but on this occasion they let us down.

Honestly, the best curry I’ve ever had. The onion bhaji was unreal. I had the chicken sashliks and that was divine. My girlfriend had one of the specials they were doing that night and she agreed it was the best curry she’d had too. 10 out of 10 from us 👌🏻

My boyfriend and I had an early dinner of chicken Tikka, Lamb Samosa, Lamb Biryani and Chicken Madras. The food was delicious, the staff super friendly and attentive. Fantastic authentic Indian restaurant with great food and great service.

First time visit to this Restaurant. Lovely food, beautiful and spotless decor (especially the toilets) and very friendly and efficient staff. Not the cheapest we use, but the quality and quantity of the food justifies it. Definitely be back.

We placed an order for Delivery last night and are not satisfied with foods Test, flavour and consistency comparatively as usual. Lamb madras was too hot and thick also other curries had a different test and raw onion flavour on it These are happening a few times. Mix grilled was not good enough. We regularly consume your food.

Great Indian find in SE london, actually run by Indian staff. Plenty of variety for both vegetarian and non vegetarian, from lip-smacking starters to freshly cooked main course. I would recommend more of non-vegetarian dishes than the vegetarian ones which were decent and not delicious.

Lovely food, unfortunately ordered peshwarni Naan but it was not received, a different Naan bread was delivered. Fantastic food though other than that.

We had a family celebration here for my husband’s 70th birthday yesterday. Ginger and Spices did us proud. There were 30 of us and the food was all ordered and freshly cooked and all served at the same time. The food was outstanding and all served piping hot. Our guests loved the food. The cocktails and wines were very good too. Thank you Krishna to you and your team for your wonderful hospitality and for making his birthday so special. You truly are the best.

I travelled from Tunbridge Wells to visit this amazing restaurant the food reminded me of my mum’s homemade curry. Highly recommended

Best tikka masala I've ever eaten! Really yummy fresh food. Did not like the onion bajis - more flour than onion A couple of pointers that I hope the owners will take on board is that the environment makes a huge difference to the dining experience no matter how good the food is - make sure music is playing all the time (the first half of the meal it was so quiet in the place we had to whisper so the whole place wouldn't hear our conversation), the decor needs more in the restaurant, there's only 2-3 art pieces and then very standard floor wall and ceiling which is disappointing. Paint the ceilings a dark colour or add more art work, the lighting is great and so is the bar area, maybe get some rugs? Some more ornaments, table runners? Anything to add colour to a very boring yet large space. Waiters need to communicate - got asked twice by two different waiters if my food was okay before I even took a bite as it they were trying to take over the table. Will be ordering takeaway but not coming to the restaurant unless there is a major decor change. I guarantee you many people feel like this
