The best restaurants serving British food in Chislehurst Bromley London

Lovely sandwiches just such a long wait time, as only one lady making the sandwiches.

A bit disappointing no high chair in the restaurant we had to go home to get a portable one for my granddaughter to eat her lunch. We all had roast lamb of which was nice except the roast potatoes were hard and way to much gravy put all over, I wish they had given us a gravy boat so we could put it on our own. Then we had dessert and I found a piece of the washing up nylon brush in my cheesecake so then I was put off eating it,i told the waitress she did apologise but still charged me plus charged us for a dessert we never had. Not till we got home and checked bill we were over charged quiet a lot. We will not be returning sad to say.

Popped in for a meal on Saturday.We used to go here alot but had not been since before COVID.We were delighted to see that it is under the same management.The food was lovely as it always was.Staff friendly and welcoming.We will be going back more often now.

Disappointing food.Had set lunch menu Waited 1 1/2 hrs for starter I had what was supposed to be parsnip and squash soup .It was like water and lukewarm. Not nice at all.Seabass was nice but it was a very small portion.Fig crumble very nice but served with such a small portion of custard about one desertspoon if that and crumble was barely warm. The worst meal I have had in The Bull ever .Somebody said to me that the food had not been good last time they went too.The company made up for it though and we had a nice afternoon. They offered us all a free drink and 20% off when we got the bill so that was a bonus.However, not once did anyone come over to us and apologise for the long wait and won't be rushing back.

Quiet when we visited for a quick drink in the afternoon but very nice.

The main dining area was so noisy that we left straight after our main course. Couldn't hear friend sitting opposite and my hearing is good. Will only eat in bar area if we go again.

We reserved a venue for a meet up and the staff were lovely!! Very homely atmosphere.

We had a fabulous meal at the Crown a couple of weeks ago, booked a group meal following an event. The pub is a lovely, cosy space, easily accessible for all. We had a wonderful server, Evie, who was the perfect host, very attentive throughout the evening. She was knowledgeable about the food and drinks and we were never left waiting. The food was delicious and service top notch. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!
