The best restaurants in Waveney East of England

I visited here with my daughter and her family, and it was a treat of a place. The Sunday roast was delicious and the Yorkshires to die for. The staff were attentive and friendly. The puddings were glorious. Will definitely return.

The pizza is always on point and tastes wonderful, you can even eat it another day cold or warmed up and tastes just as good. We ordered 3 pizzas, one margarita, one pepperoni and one choose your own and they were wondeful! We also had a garlic cheesy bread pizza which was great and 2 lots of large chips which were perfect! This place clears dominoes, papa johns and pizza hut

What a rip off for £23! They had hardly any chips left, so rather than cook fresh ones they gave us the scraps they had left! Bear in mind it was only 12:30, not close to closing time! Chewy dried up chips! Fish was ok, nothing special. All very greasy and below average!

We have visited Gelato and Sorbetto on a number of occasions and can honestly say the food and service is always impeccable. We have often been served by Jake, who always makes our visits all the more enjoyable. He is chatty, friendly, sociable, and altogether a pleasant, affable, and humorous individual. We will certainly be visiting again, and look forward to seeing Jake again when we do!

Lovely food! Never disappointed

If you love smoked meat then I may skip this place. Service is great and the beer is good with a lovely selection but the smoked food was not up to scratch by a long shot . Shame as I was hoping for great things .

Sat in the courtyard with my family, sun was shining. Great carrot cake(massive) and a lovely decaf latte. Thoroughly enjoyed the mornings relaxing calm atmosphere.

The food was hot and tasted good. Friendly staff to take the order too.

Good for the price point. Cheaper option on the seafront. Staff were friendly, we had donuts and ot drinks. Everything made fresh to order.

Went with organised coach party, chalets were nice and clean, well maintained. Food in fantastic restaurant was five star. Nightly entertainment let it down a bit. Resident band lacked umph. Singer was ok but every song sounded the same due to one level vocals, band were the Muppets but lacked any personality. Guest singer was good and comedian was brilliant. Overall a good week but people like a great week.

The occasion was an awards night for the local powerboat racing club, The Lowestoft and Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club. It was a very busy night for the two ladies behind the bar and they were working very hard indeed. (I know because I've done it !). Their service was efficient and friendly and I would recommend this pub without hesitation.
