I have a Tree nut allergy. Staff where amazing when I asked questions and I actually manged to have some naughty doughnuts which was amazing .well done ladies.

AVOID!!! Bloody awful, disorganised service. Run by Teens that are more interested in gossiping and their phones. Kept waiting, ended up walking out. Only wanted ice cream and donuts Two doors down much better service.

Very expensive for what you get. Get ice creams cheaper in great Yarmouth sea front and they come with a 99 flake! Here they don't.

Delicious food and one of the only places left that charge a reasonable cost. The donut ice creams are amazing and they are not shy with toppings like some places.

Had fish and chips there today, they were very expensive, the batter was orange in colour the fish had no taste. We had to wait 20 mins for what should be fast food. Won’t be returning.

Great place for a cuppa and doughnut, ice cream, and all your holiday maker bits.

Chips were nice but terribly small portion size for a medium I’m sure they didn’t want to cook any fresh but 18 chips does not make for a medium portion I’m afraid. Very disappointing

Aug 2023 the chippy must have changed hands since last year as the fish and chips are nothing like we have had for the last 3 years. The only way to explain it is an over priced very cheap frozen fish and chip ping meal. The fish we had did not flake in the slightest and the chips were just over crispy. Please please go back to what you have done over the past years. We didn't take it back as we had taken the meal away and sat on the beach. Previous review was 5 stars - Fish and chips absolutely fantastic everything cooked to order. Will definitely go back for more

What wondrous magic have I encountered in this innocuous beachfront ice cream parlour?! They pour out the ice cream from the machine as normal, but it has colourful flavours around the edges! Like the gold on the sides of the pages of expensive books. But this ain't gold, it's mint flavour! Bubblegum flavour! Banana! But wait, there's more! Ask nicely and they'll dip it in chocolate for you! Not a flake. Not chocolate sauce. THE ENTIRE ICE CREAM is covered in chocolate! When it starts to melt, the flavoured syrup oozes through the cracks in the chocolate! This is ice cream taken to a whole new level!

Used to do a great hot dog but today it was not the same as it used to be, The bread was too tough to eat/bite through so it went in the bin :(

Excellent service and very helpful

Enjoyed a cup of tea and a bacon bap during today's walk along the sea front. Simply the best bacon baps anywhere; slightly toasted bap, trimmed bacon - equally perfect on a cold winter's day or in the summer.

Lovely seaside venue. Owners and staff so friendly, helpful and polite. Food and drink fantastic. Very good prices. Certainly not ripped off here like some other places. Love place to sit on a sumners day. Would recommend strongly.

Ice creams, doughnuts, cold drinks, and souvenirs feature at this esplanade business facing the North Sea. I contented myself with souvenirs, but the ice creams did look tempting. Service was friendly, and you can pay by debit card, which isn't always true of seafront businesses even nowadays.

By far the best place to get ice cream, doughnuts and have a good natter 😂😂 love this place would give it more stars if I could.

Good ice cream but bad attendiment ,.my brother wanter an ice cream with a one chocolate flake instead of attender try to understand what my brother want , she was like: ...bla bla .(i wont say the name )i dont what he wants , i dont understand him , it was rude , my sister had to get my brothers ice cream because the attender put the wrong ice cream🍦

Friendly staff, nice menu for takeaway drinks, snacks & ice cream. Also nik naks and seaside inflatables as you'd expect from a cafe by the beach.

Is it the same owners from 2016 as they were doin a good job and hope they have a future there if it is best of luck

The only thing really going for this place is the staff working there, I received really valuable customer service when I was served so on this point I can't fault the place. I did however walk past at 10am then again at 9:00pm and the same employees were still working and I can't imagine this place has an abundance of employees so it was quite clear to me the staff are over worked. Considering many of them appeared to be school leaver age as well, led me to think that maybe they're being a bit exploited. The ice cream here is good and the choice and selection on offer for a beach kiosk is pretty astounding given the place is quite small. However,saying this, looking through the back into the kitchen it looked as though there was never really a tidy up as the place cluttered and untidy which is only a breeding ground for bad things. The boss seemed to pick the staff up on small things in front of me and other customers which is not only embarrassing for them but also for me as well. The place it's self is a bit of a dive, but the employer clearly knows how to choose good employees and there is a lot of selection on offer for ice cream, food and other beach renowned treats so long as you're happy to forgo standard hygiene surrounding your food.

We had the waffles and pancakes (proper ones freshly made not scotch pancakes) with ice cream, sauce and toppings. Absolutely delicious!!! Extremely friendly staff and a lovely place. Highly recommended

We bought 6 donuts for £2.50. They were freshly made to order. There was a good choice of sugar toppings. The cinnamon sugar was lovely. The donuts were very tasty and full sized, not those mini ones that are found most other places! They do take a while to make so large queues can form behind you!

Bargain ice creams with everything from rainbow cones to sherbet toppings! Scoop or whippy, take your pic. Yummy yummy would definitely go again! Also, as I always mention gluten free on every review that I do, the two coeliacs had simple whippy ice cream in tubs with syrup on top but the staff were very helpful and I’m sure could have offered other variations had we wanted them.

Super pleased to find dairy free vanilla ice cream here at the Ice Cream Parlour and the option of a gluten free cone! Great price too. Highly recommended

Carol and Hailey are fantastic, and always up for a chat. You can tell they genuinely enjoy being there and love interacting with the customers. The food is standard seaside stuff but is always well prepared and very, very well priced. I definitely recommend the chocolate dipped whippy ice creams! 5 stars are warranted for the great prices, chocolate dipped ice cream and super friendly service

The staff are very good and friendly and look after you and it is nice to just sit and have something to eat and drink will go again.

Went in with 2 adults and 3 kids and got 5 cones of chips & a curry sauce, They were all cold so we went in and asked for fresh chips, the person fring basically called me a liar so I suggested that he felt them. He again said that they couldn't be as they had just come out of the fryer, he felt them and rather than throwing them away he put them back in to the hopper, this replacement seemed as though I had asked him for the crown jewels. They did replace them but yet again they were COLD, we couldn't eat then and left them on the table. The curry (slop) was unbelievably rank. Its not often I say this but if I were you I'd stay well clear of tides reach.

Food nicely cooked and pretty quick! Staff always friendly and polite. The only downside is it's a bit hit-and-miss when it's open. If you walk past and see see it open- I highly recommend this fish and chip shop.

Usually these use 2 cook the best chips on the sea front. It was the 1st time I had some 4 a while from herr and I've got 2 say it was very disappointing. I don't know if they r knew owners but the chipper was obviously broken as they were like wedges and they wasn't very nice at all. Sorry tides reach but if you can't cope with the summer trade please employ some staff as the wait was unreal 2...

Great fish & chip shop, cooked fresh. Just set back of the sea front prom, with plenty of seating inside or outside.

We walked past this place earlier in the say and say a nice selection of ice cream and deserts. So after dinner we went back for desert. It was brilliant. The man that served us was very friendly and extremely generous with the portions (will most possibly get the sack now, sorry). We were they just before closing time and the waffle with ice cream sounded really nice. The man was very obliging and made it for me. For most places, they would simply say sorry we have finished for the day but not this place. The location of this place is very good too. We enjoyed our ice cream under the moonlit sky. Wonderful. Highly recommended.

Think there is 2 or 3 parts to tides reach which is on the sea front, there's the ice cream parlour which sells the biggest ice cream I've ever seen, they sell a mixture of things from drinks to seaside souvenirs, their milkshake's are beautiful loads of flavours to choose, the chip shop part is a must the fish & chips are beautiful. I think there is a tea room but I'm not sure on that. The staff there are very nice & friendly & polite & helpful.

Went with my mum for a quick drink... the lady didn’t know what mocha was despite it was in their menu....needless to say it did not taste good and I couldn’t drink it!! There was no sign to inform that toilets were out of order, which was another reason for popping in. When asked to cancel the order due to lack of toilet facilities was told no. Staff unatentive and just around chatting amongst themselves

Fabulous place, right on the promenade and prices just right.

The food is tasty but I've been put off by rhe amount of times I've been in there and there are dogs in the restaurant.

We had lunch here with the two grandchildren, 3 portions of fish and chips, Bit on the pricey side for my liking, even had to pay for the tomato sauce, and not delivered to table, had to collect yourself. Having said that the fish and chips were well cooked and tasted good.

Nice place for a meal. We had a selection of foods for party of 7, all delivered to table hot, fast and reasonable price . Friendly helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble. Area outside for children to play and close to the Broad

The fish and chips were the worst iv ever had. The batter was still uncooked in places. It was horrible to get a mouthful of uncooked batter. This in turn made the under cooked chips underneath soggy. But on the bright side warmed them up because they were only Luke warm. I didn't even feed it to the seagull's as I'm not that cruel. Has put me right off fish for a long time to come.
