The best restaurants in Thurrock East of England

Very good food I highly recommend it Aliat ande vghenie

On the menu is the "ULTIMATE DIRTY BURGER". You get a burger the size of a flat. Looks very well, but the patty was one of the worst patty's I've ever had. Dry and as tough as leather. Overcooked! I don't know what they do in the kitchen with the meat, but this was not what I expected.

Wasn't open at 18:30 on a Sunday in spite of Google closing time stating 22:00

The Treacle Mine is in cahoots with Euro Car Parks to extract money out of unsuspecting "guests" using the pub's car park. The fraud works like this: on entry to the car park there isa a sign: "Guest Parking. Camera Controlled." This creates the impression that if you are a guest, you're fine. In the car park itself are a number of signs with small lettering two or more feet above head height explaining that you have to enter your registration number in a console in the bar - many people won't notice these signs or link them to the entrance sign. The entrance door to the bar has a small sign repeating this mandate. Nowhere is any warning that if you fail to do so you will be subject to a fine. Euro Car Parks is one of the most loathed parking operators in the country. We believe that M&B, owners of The Treacle Mine, get a cut out of every parking ticket issued. So I'm on a mission to let everybody know what a devious little conspiracy is happening here. Grubby!

It was nice fish and chips but both the chips and the fish were definitely not large at all. Portion sizes are getting smaller here

Standard McDonald’s, however whenever I come here there is one member of staff called Sergio who is always extremely polite, helpful and smiling, great guy and deserves all the praise!

Been here on several occasions and each time have turned me away due to the fact they’re closing early 7PM despite online hours showing 8PM

Superb meal real prompt service, order food early so would be here on time, arrived 8 pm on dot. Food was hot with some delicious flavours, at 20 pound per head excellent value

I have ordered Chicken Tikka Biryani and it was so tasty and yammi Definitely I will order again
