A great little cafe with some authentic Italian food. Quieter than the food hall which is a definite plus at lakeside.

Reasonably priced for a stop while shopping at Lakeside,particularly good waitresses.

Always good coffee, cocktails and the occasional lunch. Especially good for morning coffee or pre-dinner cocktails. Staff are always friendly and provide good service.

I would not recommend any dishes because it was not nice they bread was very salty and the couldn't wait for pay when clear we was still eating they food I left them tip but it was verbal not good customer service

Strudel (hot) vanilla ice cream next to it but separate and a lovely espresso. Worth the drive for the flavours! One point less for atmosphere because of giant sports TV which was loud and unavoidable, not the restaurant's choice at all and blame whoever it is that thinks this makes for family atmosphere in the centre.

The place is well located, peaceful in a busy shopping centre. The food was good. The staff requires more training. The service was not of good quality. The glassware and cutlery was stained, and not crystal clean.

Very disappointing. Sandwiches were dry and lacking filling. The best part of lunch were the crisps! For £10.95 for a Brie sandwich, I would have expected more. The Club sandwich was sent back due to the lack of filling - minuscule amount of bacon which is a key ingredient. The cafe is nice to look at but a case of style over substance unfortunately. I won’t be back.

I try so hard to like Rizzoli’s but it’s not easy. It’s never busy even on Saturday lunch time, when they have so many staff. For the price the food is better than the food court and I can sit down at a nice table. My gripe is the staff are so poorly trained. I’ve come in Saturday at lunch a few times, same manager! He hides behind the bar most of the time. On all my times coming here I’ve never been seated correctly. They just call out “sit anywhere”! Okay I’ll take the biggest table to myself? I’ve never had anyone check my food is okay and most of the time the basics such as offering salt & peeper, additional drinks are forgotten. I don’t believe this to be a server issue it’s question of management & training. Pitty, has such potential.

Just nipped in for a coffee, so quite early. Service was good had a very nice fruit scone with my coffee. Nice peaceful atmosphere. Staff very pleasant.

I do not recommend dry and old cake

If the waitress was as dedicated to taking your order as she was to actually taking your plates the service would have rated higher. I had to search to order but no soon as the food was delivered she came to clear the plates while we were clearly still eating. Shocking service for the price charged and the quality of the food wasn't that good. Won't bother to go here again.

Had to wait as all the staff seemed to be over the opposite side of the bar. Pasta garlic bread and side salad less than £10. Had cheesecake but it had been cut for a while and the sides had dried a bit. But you can get some mini cannoli to takeaway £1@.

Nice staff, but food was bland it was overpriced and portion sizes to small.

Mum and i went for lunch we order our sandwich and followed by apple pie.the sandwich came but no apple pie they had so many staff and didn't know what was going on.poor service and sandwich was tastless..Will not go back

Coffee was lovely here . Plus it's opposite primark so was left alone to play on my phone , drink coffee and not look at a million bits of clothing I have no opinion about.

Lovely spot to drink (alcohol or otherwise) and eat Italian style in the centre of Lakeside shopping centre. Excellent breakfasts, set lunches and other meals, including antipasti, and desserts. Italian beers and a full range of cocktails and spirits.

Always allow time for a visit to Caffe Rizzoli have never been disappointed very much enjoy the food service and atmosphere plus best decaf americano

Microwave food… really??? Very disappointed. Order a £13.00 pasta, that came in less than two minutes, before it landed my table I could see what was microwaved, confirmed by the waiter. Both pasta and a couple of bits of chicken felt like chewing rubber. Its an insult to customers, Italian cuisine and to chefs. By having someone in the kitchen dressed as one pressing buttons. It’s a pass for me.

Had eggs Benedict never again I’m not sure how they managed it, but the fake ‘hollandaise’ looked like runny mustard and made the whole thing inedible disappointing as I read good things about this place….

the waiters are very talented at what they do and they make the place very lively and friendly while also adding a sense of elegance as well as this, the food tastes absolutely amazing as well as their drinks, overall an amazing experience

A cozy, clean atmosphere with outstanding customer service and a large menu of delicious Italian dishes with numerous vegetarian options such as the „Pomodoro e Mozarella" sandwich, which is seen on the pictures attached. Usually the sandwich is served with complimentary hand-cooked crisps and salad, but the staff had no issues adjusting the order to suit my taste. My company had a granola bar and a hot version of my sandwich which they thoroughly enjoyed. We are keen on returning and exploring more of the Italian cuisine available here, as we had a brilliant afternoon!

Great service , amazing poached eggs with bacon, my wifes poached eggs on smashed avocado was perfect. Great coffees, perfect service from the owner.

Food ok, location great, service apathetic and barely passable. They weren't actually rude, but behaved as if they'd been given notice that the cafe was closing on a month.

Over priced bland food. Coffee was not very nice. Ordered scrambled egg on toast. £7 for one slice of toast with scrambled egg that was made with so much milk. Staff were lovely though and sorted it.

Lovely staff excellent choice if food

Ordered a tagliatelle but ended up with melted cheese over penne pasta. The pancetta was not crispy at all. My wife's pasta dish was penne pasta and tomato sauce with minimal chicken. Should have been vegetables in there. Very bland and mediocre food. Wish I just walked past and headed home.

We found this place in Sep and recommended it to my elderly parents and Grandparents to eat safety, after the staff all wore masks and following all government guidelines, we have been in many times since, however the past 3 times we have watched things full, last visit last week we won’t return and have told our parents they mustn’t return, after we could watch the lady in the kitchen through the hatch, she had the mask on her chin, handling the salmon with her fingers putting on a plate, then wiping the side of the plate with a cloth that was on the side! Cross contamination breeding ground for Christ sake, we are in a pandemic as if you don’t know! The only member of staff that has followed the rules from the start has been Sophie she is a credit to this place, and as for the manager that face shield only works over your face, not on the top of your head. So when you close on Wed you have to except some responsibility that your restaurant didn’t follow the guideline so played a part.

Always lovely.. Maple and Walnut ice cream is the best in the world.. well for me it is.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Visited in December and was charged twice for our drinks after being told we weren’t! More than 2 months later this hasn’t been resolved even after going back to the bar and contacting the manager on numerous occasions! Have now had to seek legal action as they are not resolving this!!

Terrible service; waiters pass by and do not seat you and you just wait, waiters do not come to take your orders or give you menus after you have asked several times. After going to the counter to get a menu and order because it is taking near 45 mins, we get told to sit down and waiter will come to the table. Said waiters still doesn’t come by so we grab the attention of another waiter who takes our orders. The pasta we ordered was actually pretty decent but the drinks were very watery so would not recommend ordering the banana drink or a milkshake unless you like it was watery. Decent food and we’d go here again if it wasn’t for the terrible service

Beautiful place with excellent wines

Went for afternoon tea - very responsive, very kind staff. Open faced sandwiches so unique and so tasty! Scones could be improved by having them warm, 1 jam pot and 1 cream pot each would be preferable.
