Made my grandson be sick and very ill bread was burnt the meat in the bread was over done and had a texture of rubber never gonna get from here again

Shame! I have been ordering from Akash for years... tonight I ordered an Indian for myself as I was feeling rather unwell to cook. After waiting a long time I called the restaurant to find out where my order is and the man said it should have been there by now and will call me back... a further 20 minutes went by and at this point I just needed to go to bed with a miagrane... I call the restraint and he said its been delivered. So not only did I not get a call back. They kept repeating my order had been delivered when it hadn't making it sound like I'm lying. Will not use this place again now. No refund either.

Ordered a lamb pathia the meat was so tough could not cut with a knife phoned up to advise Nd the resturant advised me this is cooked in oven supposed to be tough! Won't be ordering from here again 😒

Paid twice they lost my money then told me I had not paid. Dash cam shows me going in with cash they told me I didn't have. counted the money I got at the cash machine when I got home. I was ripped off. Food was awful sauce was watered down, flavour was weak, meat was tough and naan bread was burnt. **Check your pictures** **You lie about your food hygiene ratings** **You say 5 on you site. food hygiene gave you a 1** Original post was 2 years ago and you got back to me with buy from our website. You stole £20 from me, i took my issue up with your staff then who treated me like I was in the wrong, why would I come back 2 years later after I was ripped off and sold rubbish food. Anyone who has ordered anywhere else would know this food is terrible order from the following list, Captain korma Agra tandoori & balti Desi Vindaloo Any update to your reply not fixing the issue I had then and I will come in to discuss this face to face.

Ordered online to try this takeaway for the very first time. It will also be my last. Order put in 6.14pm and said would be delivered by 6.59pm. Rang 7.04pm to be told it would be 10 minutes. Rang back at 7.30pm, gentleman called the delivery driver to find out where he was, he confirmed he was trying to find the address. No call was made to me to ask! (Gentleman did say to driver he should have called me). If time was taken to let me know of the delay that would have been something, but for me to call twice is not good. Turned up at 7.38pm. Nice food, shame not a good first impression.

Treated myself to a takeaway last night, woke up with stomach pain and sweats and its getting worse by the hour, Could just be a one off but has definitely put me off ordering in the future.

Nice takaway, tasty food, big portions, great value.

I ordered Lamb Madras and Lamb Vindaloo. The meat was so strong that not even my dog could eat it.

It's not just great food you get when you come here, but the service is excellent.

First time of eating here, had lovely meal, Staff were very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our night out. Also weather was nice so were able to walk to and from the restaurant home. So saved on taxi fare.

Poor service. Was early but the food came was stone cold and the chicken look as though it had been left out for days. Rice was hard. When asked for our money back the delivery man said to stick it in the microwave ....

Go there often for the Sunday Buffet. Always decent service and a simple selection of various currys and rices with a nice little mixed starter :-)

Order food at 7.34 arrived at 8.50 phoned them to say it was cold they told me that it not true and we couldn’t even eat it we put it in the bin they said they will give me a discount on our next order Also they told me one price on the phone and more when they turned up We will not order from them again

Complete waste of money. The staff is okay service wise but the ATTITUDE STINKS. Bought a takeout curry but it was TASTELESS AND INSIPID. Rice tasted like leftovers and the meat was chewy and kinda stale. Would have let that slide but the defensive attitude of the so called Manager makes me want everyone to know that this is the WORST curry in the UK. Don’t see how anyone can even give them a single star. I would have given them a ZERO STAR OUT OF FIVE if it were possible! Tried to make the joke of a manager know my experience but the guy (so called manager) has no clue. MANAGER VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND AGGRESSIVELY DEFENSIVE. He told me I don’t have to order from them. What an a**hole! I’m sure the positive reviews here are from friends and relatives. Not real. I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy to this joke of a restaurant. Food unfit even for the garbage can! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU CAN!

The worst good ever! Bought lamb curry and pilau rrice takeaway which wasn’t fresh, possibly left overs as it was just before 2200hrs. The curry was blund and tasteless. Called to give feedback and the guy who is apparently the guy who is meant to be the manager was rude and condescending saying, “we don’t give refunds! We never wanted any refund, the food cost £10 and after a couple of mouthfuls had to throw it away. The manager stated that they have never had bad reviews and were the first ones to complain. Never buying anything from there, what a rip off! If anyone wants a good curry, Bricklane is the place to go even though it’s quite a distance from Chadwell St Mary. If I could give zero star would be scoring that. What a waste of time and money.

great place to eat friendly staff

I loved it totally would go everyday if I had time because the food is nicely spicy (if you want it to) the staff are really friendly and helpful the food is freshly prepared and is made from great quality products perfect for a friends gathering to a family feast.

Food there is amazing there, great taste of Indian foods very spicy, the staff their are delightful they seem enthusiastic and they serve the food on time I suggest this restaurant to anyone who enjoys spicy food, I really hope there would be more of these restaurants across the UK,

Had a awful take away from here tonight. It was supposed to be vegetable pathia which i can only describe as a watery vegetable soup.I have eaten inside the restaurant several times and it has been good.I can only think the lack of intrest when i phoned and complained was we had not spent sufficient money for them to care.There was no offer of a replacementi forgot to add my partners chicjen dansak was not much better either.Will not be eating there again not because of the meal it could have been a one off but the disinterest regarding my complaint

Just ordered from here order 2 prawn cocktails and they were piping hot not happy

The order turned up with a dish missing and was cold.....and tasteless.... The customer service was appalling you never argue with a customer and if you had been listerning in the first place you would have got the order right....also invest in insulated bags to keep the food hot on the journey.....so many of my friends say you are good but for me you are appalling and I just wasted £20 on what should have been a treat for me and my kids!

The food was watery nn disgusting ... The king prawns well what a joke looked like tadpoles had given birth to them I was hunting the prawns in what was ment to be a prawn dish .... The samosa omg I wouldn't feed it to my dog the most disgusting food the £19 was a waste I was better of going MacDonald I would advise everyone to not go here I'm appalled at the quality of the food

Absolutely disgusted rude arogant people my heavily pregnant sister got the starter and had to leave due to her baby in agony with his teeth so didn't get the buffet they still charged her and said they don't care about that and we said we won't be back they said good made us feel uncomfortable the whole time plus kept hovering over us
