Waited 10 minutes after paying fir them just to make a cup of tea despitenot being busy at tll. 1 girl making the drinks, a frappichino, 2 girls basically doing nothing. Said to the girl about the wait, was basically ignored, no apology! Will go to Cafe Neros next time!

We love The Fish and Chip Shop. Can thoroughly recommend the large cod and chips. The portions are generous and the quality is superb. Excellent value for money!

Lovely cafe but can get very busy with table blockers. Good value pot of tea and earn stamps on your loyalty card. Friendly staff who carry teay for customers that need help. Really nice touch. Thankyou

We went today and my son chose my free birthday doughnut. We were served by two very friendly young ladies. On the train home my son went to eat his treat and what a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much, completely unexpected

We went to the Earlham as part of a party attending a wake. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff lovely. The buffet provided was excellent and when an enquiry was made concerning gluten free food some was immediately sourced from the Blackhorse across the road even though it hadn't been specifically ordered. This is definitely a venue we will be back to eat at next time we are in Norwich

Me and my dad were having a lovely day reminiscing over his youth spent in the area so we thought we'd stop in for a bite to eat and wow were we blown away! As soon as we stepped inside the door, in fact! I don't know which was more offensive, the stale smell of piss that greeted me as I stepped into the pub, or the older Irishman sat down at a table who clearly had no intention of getting up behind the bar to greet his (by the looks of it, only) customers. Instead I got a very underwhelming "can I help?"... I kept my thoughts of asking whether he could help me to understand how this place makes enough money to keep even the smallest drinks fridge running, very much to myself. When I said that we were there to possibly eat, he made some remark about taking ourselves around to the, seemingly empty, eating area. My dad, needing to use the toilet, wasn't too pleased to find a coded lock on there. I'm not sure what Roughton New Inn is hiding behind that door, but by the smells of it, it could be likened to the bathroom scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. My dad and I were not prepared to take on a troll, or make ourselves too comfortable here, so we made a swift exit!

The item that I ordered from the shop was a New York Deli Begal. What I received was instead a bacon toastie with some mayo on it. Absolute JOKE!

Absolutely terrible food. Tiny portions. Burnt and soggy. Said Diet Coke. Got a brand called “Barr”. Terrible parmo. Would not recommend City Hut Peri Peri. Especially not their parmo. Worst takeout I’ve ever ordered.

Hideous The vegetarian food was truly inedible , actually left it...staff had zero interest nor does the corporate..2 emails to them and no reply

Although it's called the Golden Fish it serves Chinese Food. We were staying nearby in a Houseboat, we rang in our order and collected it 15 minuts later. The food was really good, plenty of meat in the mixed chop suey and mixed sweet and sour. Large portions too. A delicious meal.

Good choice of beer, friendly and helpful bar staff and chef. The vegetarian curry is vegan as is the naan bread.

Music was upbeat the food was fantastic , I had Ribman and wallop also I would recommend to anyone who hasn’t been there as of yet :)

Surely this store is on the cusp of being taken over by new management??? Rude, arrogant and obstructive staff who clearly hate their jobs and enjoy antagonizing the customers. It’s not our fault you no longer have any interest in customer facing employment.

Came for food after being in city we were greeted with a smile by Louise who took our order asking if we had any specific dietary requirements or allergies, We didnt have carvery on this occasion opting for something from the main menu which was cooked to our liking. Louise got us the sauces requested and left us to go and serve other customers before returning to check all was ok and to our liking and leaving us to enjoy the rest of our meal. Louise was busy during our visit clearing tables serving customers but she remained smiling throughout. Thankyou !!
