Costa Coffee in Norwich

We just had a coffee break while shopping ,no food.

Excellent in all areas BUT no Internet access!!!

Don't go here unless you have ample time to stand and wait while the staff gossip and faff about. They don't seem like they want custom so go slow so you leave

The tomato-mozzarella chiabattas are really good, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

Condescending young chap served us today that definitely needs some extra customer service training. We had a voucher and was unaware how to use it or which products we could have with it. Instead of service with a smile he was snappy and impatient advising us what was including and what wasn't.no no.... that areas closed off!! We're some of his retorts. Won't be back. Lady with the dreds was lovely btw

Coffee is okay but you can get far better from smaller independent shops for the same price or less in Norwich. Food is poor value for money, kind of a joke tbh. £12 for a drink, breakfast wrap and the tiniest flapjack I've ever seen. I'll just walk to Gregg's next time and pay half the price

The machines need to be cleaned the coffee and hot chocolate taste like blood or like gross tap water. Never experienced this before here. The delivery driver was lovely though.

Pristine inside and well designed. Perfect for a drink and toast for breakfast before a day in the city. Asked for skinny drink and spotted semi being used. Was rectified but perhaps more attention needs paying to orders. Not an allergy in this case but may have been...

Coffee is just not great and too expensive for what it is. Ordered an Iced Americano and it wasn’t great , incredibly bitter and i could have definitely done a better job at home! Unfortunately price has taken a massive factor into the review today as simply it’s too expensive . no one in their right mind pays £5 for a ham and cheese toastie it’s just insane. Normally we pay café Nero a visit and this experience totally explains why.

Always great coffee at Costa but not always a relaxing experience

Coffee as usual very good, service slow (due to only 2 staff).. ordered toasts twice and at both times bread only toasted at one side.. quite unsatisfactory.. I gave it 3 🌟 last time. I am afraid no improvement so edit it to 2.. Customer service very unsatisfactory...

I have to keep telling myself that my order was prepared by someone illiterate on their first day. They did remember the syrup in the hot drinks though, I just didn't want to slurp it out of the bags it had spilled into.

If it was possible I would rate this 0! Popped in for a drink and a snack after the pantomime today. Everything was being served in takeaway containers/ wrappers ordered two hot chocolate with cream. We saw that no cream was added to the drinks and asked if there was cream on the drinks, the surly barista said “ no” then looked at the receipt , took the drinks back and put the smallest amount of cream possible on the drinks having tipped a lot of the hot chocolate away. She then more or less threw the drinks at us. Watch out for her, no communication, hair blonde on one side and dark on the other and so full of customer service!

I had no drink left everything was spilt everywhere and I was so very angry that people who deliver these orders do not care for these supplies. Absolutely appalling!

Drink leaked everywhere. Toastie ruined. Unedible

Costa coffee if you like a nice coffee or tea or a lovely dessert or a bun or a sandwich or a sausage roll then this the place for you please please try it yourself thank you.

Well I am disappointed at Costa, increasing their prices again , I think £3 70 for a medium cappuccino is now gone a bit too far . I will counteract that by going a lot less . There are local independent businesses that charge less and in my opinion just as good .

I love this new shop, it's much bigger. It's more open and has a lot more seating in here. The staff are as wonderful as ever, the shop is clean. I always come here for a latte and likely always will.

Large Costa with plenty of seating both in-store and outside, giving plenty of opportunity for a little people watching. Plenty of food to choose from, including some very tasty looking muffins. I was very impressed with the service. There were a number of people queuing but the service was fast and friendly. Thanks for a lovely flat white!

Staff is very slow and americano coffee is not good

The new Costa location used to be Pret A Manger. The ambiance was uplifted to a more bold interior decoration in line with the current trend. My visit was a pleasant dine-in experienced, the service was good despite having only one staff at the counter, his really doing his best providing good service to all customers. Not so many customers from the time of visit as it's 30mins to closing time. The offer was enticing that is why I was persuaded to avail, but more importantly the frap was really delicious and really to my liking. Will definitely visit again.

The best Cortado in Norwich and perfect place inside the mall. Good service and nice staff.

Chapelfield store- Paid well over £3 for each drink!!! Which is rediculous anyway. AND Served in cardboard cups!! Told it’s because they shut at 4pm, it was 2pm. !! Not one customer had a proper cup. It is pure laziness, (and anti environment of course). Might as well sack all staff and install 3 vending machines and a bin, and charge £2 for drinks, as the staff couldn’t be bothered to clear the tables either!

Muy ocupado, gran cola y solo 2 empleados sirviendo. Lo sentimos por el personal con exceso de trabajo. Las tablas necesitaban limpieza. No es una gran experiencia

Al comprar en Chapelfield, decidimos hacer una parada para tomar un café y, como fanáticos habituales de Costa, nos complació encontrar esta cadena de marca en el piso superior. Aunque compramos muchas veces antes de aquí, en realidad no había parado para tomar una bebida aquí, así que fue nuestra primera visita. Pedimos nuestras bebidas habituales, pero me decepcionó esta salida particular no hace los bollos de queso. Que son, con mucho, el mejor bocadillo que hacen. El personal era educado y amable, Mesas mantenidas bastante limpias, Acceso por ascensor o escaleras. Bonita vista sobre el centro comercial. Definitivamente volverá a aparecer cuando esté en Norwich de nuevo. Esperemos que puedan estar haciendo los bollos de queso entonces.

Staff seemed dis interested, all a bit grubby. Not great service, not particularly friendly. Not up to normal costa standards with service. Had a mince pie with my hot chocolate, no offer to warm, add cream etc.. disappointing

Stopped off here for a quick bite and drink whilst shopping, what a mistake. Whilst queuing for 20 minutes to get served was quiet the eye opener, we decided not to have anything hot as everything that went to the oven was finger handled even tho their were utensils right their. But the turning point was when taking the hot sandwiches / bagettes etc from the oven again no utensils used just fingers, and obviously because the food was hot, burnt fingers, that were then licked !! and the server just carried on, no sanitation, no hand wash, nothing. I ordered 2 latte's and two pieces of cake, my server did use a set of prongs to pick our cake up and put onto the plate, but after sitting down and bitting into my piece of cake i was soon back up to the counter as it was stale and as hard as rock. It was changed but customer service in this place is non existent as the person i complained to looked at me as if i was crazy, i made him touch it, poke it and admit it was rock hard which he reluctantly did. We wont be going back here ever..

Ordered a salted caramel frostino with cream. Came out without cream and then once tasted it had coffee in it. When i said something the guy who made the drinks rolled his eyes as if it was my fault. I’m not one to complain but when you ask without Coffee you’d expect it, and if you ask for cream you’d expect that also. Not just one mistake 2. I visit different costas quiet regularly and always find the staff here quiet rude and stressed. Stretch your legs and head to the Costa near the castle mall! 100% more friendlier I find

Costa is my favourite coffee chain but this restaurant seems to cram too many tables and chairs in. Pleasant staff but tables need to be cleared more quickly.

Average costa coffee shop. The service was quick and the shop was clean and tidy. Lots of tables and chairs and sofas to relax and enjoy your drink.

Trust in a product's quality to me ensures repeat custom. Not only that with trust come that set of very pleasurable reassurances such as crafted presentation, a personal touch on the rapport front, ability to make every coffee stand out. Knowing you can have that tried and tested expectation, the journey and the time feel good from even before you set foot in the actual shop. I would like to congratulate Costa at Chapelfield in Norwich for all of the above it is a visit I am always happy to make.

Popped in here to grab a drink. Access to this place is a bit on the tight size. It's up a flight of narrow stairs. The serving area is also shoehorned into a narrow area. The coffee I had was the generic taste and cost that you would expect from a Costa Coffee

No cover on the cake area, flies all over them. Rude staff & not a full drinks menu above till, so a busy queue & I'm searching through a folded menu.

Not the best ambiance due to its enclosed location and entry up stairs. The coffee is good and consistently so. Sufficient range of cakes etc to tempt most off their diet. Good if you are in a hurry.

This has got to be one of the worst I've been to. Went a couple of times as I was working across the road at the theatre. The staff were shocking. 1st visit - Medium Caramel Latte - they didn't put the caramel in, as I watched them make the drink. I questioned them after they gave me the drink, just in case it was somebody else's. They huffed and said do you want me to make it again then? Well yes ! 2nd Visit Medium Double caramel fudge cream cooler. again only limited amount of caramel (even though paid for extra) and no fudge pieces. Again I questioned the lack of caramel and fudge. They had run out of fudge, and then made my drink again with the double helping of caramel. Glad I was only there for a couple of days. Friends told me after there was a Starbucks down on the lower level, will go there next time
