The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Mancroft Norwich East of England

Really quiet when we went in. But got a warm welcome from the staff. The food was absolutely delicious

Came here for lunch and were surprised by the quality and value of the soup and service. Comfy setting and plenty of light from large windows. Very refreshing.

We had a brilliant experience at Pizza Express in Norwich yesterday, made even better by the excellent service from the team. Ben, who I happened to know from football, was outstanding—professional, friendly, and really attentive throughout our visit. It was great to see him in action, and he clearly takes pride in delivering great customer service. We were also served by a lovely lady whose name I didn’t catch, but she was equally impressive—knowledgeable, warm, and made us feel really well looked after. Both staff members were affable and engaging, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Top marks to the team—we’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant was almost empty, no more than eight tables full. There were several staff,maybe six, and a manager. Service however was exceptionally slow and several staff walked past our empty plates and ignored them. We got to the dessert menus and perused them and ten minutes later when the waiter came to collect our order we said we will have two of the roulades and she said ‘no you won’t’ then paused and said we don’t have any and we also do t have any x, y or z either. We then decided just to leave without dessert. If there are things you don’t have then you should say when you give out the menu to manage expectations. Poor service but the pizzas were good.

On the hygiene front the manager has a habit of scratching his face and running his hand through his hair and yes he was handling plates. We entered the restaurant and used the app so payed up front. All the plates were stone cold and coupled with other problems we decided to leave. Asked for a refund which was agreed but would take a few days. Quick to take money, don't care for customer service after. There is no way to phone anyone, blame it on social distancing and COVID. But customer care are working from home. No, they take your money and run.

I made a takeaway order to be delivered at 7pm and it arrived at 5.50pm.if I wanted it at 5.50pm I would of ordered it for 5.50pm . we were not hungry when it was delivered and the delivery driver didn't care less. if there is a next time I will order and pay by cash and if the delivery is early then the delivery driver WILL BE TURNED AWAY and the order WILL BE REFUSED.
