Came here for lunch and were surprised by the quality and value of the soup and service. Comfy setting and plenty of light from large windows. Very refreshing.

Friendly staff, and fab coffee. Like the soups at lunchtime, cheese scones, the cakes, the sofa and bench seats.

Came here with my parents and had a lovely lunch. Have a great choice of hot and cold food and the cakes look amazing. I had the toffee and pecan cake which was delicious! What I love was the ethos of the place, all their net profit goes towards charity and was surprised to learn that a lot of the staff are volunteers! Although it's not based directly in the city centre it is worth the short walk to King Street, not only for the food and atmosphere but to know you are helping charitable causes. Will definitely be going back

I use this venue for work quite a bit and the service received is very good. However, I went myself for a snack as I wanted to get away from the office so decided to try it out. I had a baked potato and it was very very good - it is spotless and it was really quiet.

Had to go for a workshop twice this week and have tried a bacon sandwich and also a gruyere, spinach and tomato panini. Both very very nice!! Highly recommended Also another workshop was actually catered for so they provided sandwiches and fruit. Very very good quality with various chutneys on the sandwiches plus a veggie option!! Lovely fresh fruit too... Highly recommended again

This cafe has maintained a very high standard over many years and is well worth taking the short walk from the City. The food is always appealing and the setting is very cheerful and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Came in on my own on a Friday night and it was quite busy, but I managed to get a table. It was a little loud due to the crowds and I felt the lighting was slightly too bright but nothing that would've diminished the quality of my meal. The staff were lovely and friendly even though I was clearly underdressed in baggy jeans and a work shirt, they didn't make me feel out of place at all. The prices didn't reflect the fancier vibe, the pizzas were actually super affordable. A small Amalfi (10/10 recommend!!) was the perfect portion for me (a small but very hungry girl). And £9.50 is really not bad for a triple cheese pizza. I even got free chilli flakes with it. This place would be lovely for a date night, family or office party as that seemed to be most of the clientele at the time.
