BB's Coffee and Muffins in Norwich

Waited 10 minutes after paying fir them just to make a cup of tea despitenot being busy at tll. 1 girl making the drinks, a frappichino, 2 girls basically doing nothing. Said to the girl about the wait, was basically ignored, no apology! Will go to Cafe Neros next time!

Popped in for a quick coffee as location is great and no queue. The brownie was nice. However the coffee had no taste and was weak. They also charged 50p extra for using oat milk.

Popped into BBs on our way to the Cinema for coffee and toasted sarnie , & muffin. Brilliant quick service, friendly staff, nice toastie, clean and comfortable seating area.

Muffin fantastic as always but Kerry the manager always so unfriendly. I even been going years and never a hello or chat. Unusual I find and she was rude to a colleague in front of me.

Best place to stop and relax when your having a busy day. Coffee is on par with Costa (my opinion) and the muffins are delicious. Staff did a great job of keeping the tables clear too.

Try to go most weeks and always have coffee and muffin The muffins are to die for 😊 which ever one you choose Girls very friendly and do a great job

This unit in chapelfields has had a recent refurb While the coffee/ tea and bakery are very good the new seating is awful!!! Very uncomfortable even for a short time The staff as usual were great Come on BBS you can do better!!

We went to the one in the castle mall, but same chain. Awesome!!!! The best muffins in town and there is no where else better. Good value and great taste

This is a good place to visit for a lovely muffin. BBs are the best muffins in town by far!!! Like this one in the old castle mall best as service is a lot quicker here. A must when I’m in Norwich.

Long queue, delicious muffins, but cutlery was not clean, and I collect stamps to get a free coffee, my card was shown but not deducted off the bill.

Very occasionally have a coffee and a Muffin in BB's. Muffins always tasty, but this visit wanted to try the white chocolate and Raspberry hot chocolate. Would probably have been really nice had it been hot. It was barely warm. Mentioned it to the staff on the way out and they seemed fairly unconcerned.

This is an update of a poor review ages ago. Since my last visit the lady who was rude to me in on maternity leave and hopefully not going back. The manager apologised for this ladies rudeness and since I go there each sunday for a drink maybe a bite to eat depending on the cash flow. This is how it used to be. A pleasant atmosphere and that is all I ask for. Not stupif questions from a 5 year old yet somehow a 25 year old or so! Makes me wonder will she ever read this?

Whilst waiting for a friend to arrive I managed to secure a table with comfy chairs whilst my wife went to buy coffee and cake. I was surprised when she returned not just with our friend but a Victoria Sponge Muffin - certainly a first for me. It was light, fluffy with plenty of jam and butter cream. I noticed it was a popular choice for other customers too.

Last time I visited it was very evident of staff shortage but this time was much better. 2 cups of tea and a couple of cakes were swiftly served by friendly staff. Good prices and clean environment. Handy location for having a well earned break.

My coffee loving husband tells me that the coffee is fabulous. The hot chocolate is pretty good too.

This is the place to go in Nch for muffins. They are lovely and I’m a regular visitor, never been let down here. Great prices and my only grumble.....make it 2 people making the coffee please, this will speed up the q line!

There is plenty of competition for coffee and cakes in and around this location, but I am happy to recommend BBs for their lovely muffins, one for every taste. Fresh, large and taste as described.

Myself, my wife and 2 kids popped into BB's after watching the 10k on sunday. having 2 wild children and with it being very hot we wanted somewhere to sit, cool down and "chill the kids out"

I often go to BBs on my lunch and there are 2 very friendly staff (a man on the till and a woman who makes coffees) but the women who took my order got it wrong and was rude and the lady who made my food ended up getting TWO black hairs in it. I have been to BBs before and they are never amazing at service but food is quite nice but two hairs is not good - think it's time they invest in gloves and hair nets when serving food.

I was surprised to find out that for a place with 'muffin' in the name that their muffins are absolute white (for the purpose of this review I will be using the word 'white' to describe a swear that starts with shhh and ends in ite). I'm not a muffin connoisseur (innuendo not intended) however the muffin along with my hopes and dreams for a relaxing lunch crumbled plus it had no flavour and what I can only desirbe the consistency of the muffin as bouncy and chewy??? I know, I was perplexed by this texture 'senseation' too. On top of that, the muffin itself lacked flavour and if it weren't for the small amount of lemon....something....on the top I would have wondered what it was supposed to be. The 3 girls behind the till were busy (expected on a sat) however the look on their face screamed 'I don't want to be here'. TBH girls I don't want to be here either so I don't blame you. Whatever it was that made them look like that, be it poor management, lack of money or white muffins a smile cost nothing. Feel free to eat here but don't expect much from BB's Coffee and white Muffin. I'm sure Mr BB will be eye rolling his way to Starbucks.

Stopped here for a quick muffin & cuppa whilst shopping with a toddler, luckily had a spree voucher for the muffins otherwise I’d of been sorely disappointed if I’d paid full price. The muffins are ok and drinks ok, but for that price you want more than ok.

Have walked past here often and admired their baguettes being a massive fan - decided to go early as sometimes they have looked a bit wilting. To be fair the bread was very nice but I was stuck a bit with fillings as I do not like mayonnaise one iota. I had hot chocolate which was not hot enough and overall.... would not go back. Service a bit lapsa daisical as well!

Stopped for a cup of tea and a cake after a busy day shopping in Norwich. Tea was lovely and the double chocolate muffin was superb. All priced good and we had enough tea in the pot for two cups each. It was only down marked because of the dirty tables that hadn't been cleared away and smashed glass left all over the floor after the very busy staff member had attempted to clear it. She was obviously under a lot of pressure to get the tables cleared as she was on her own and had far too much for one person to do. The floor could do with a deep clean around the edges too.The serving staff were very friendly and happy. Its generally a nice to go but on this occasion it was a bit manic.

Just a quick stop by BB muffins to get a couple of takeaway muffins (gorgeous!).

Today while with my 7yr old daughter and her friend we passed BBs in Chapelfield. The girls wanted ice cream, we ordered and i had a diet coke. We got friendly service, quick service and she was polite and efficient. My daughter decided she didnt like her flavour so i ended up having hers and ordering her another. This is where the visit went very wrong!! A different server this time, was slow, uninterested, was asked by another member of staff if she was prep'ing my order as she walked away after taking my order. I asked for a chocolate ice cream and the size was nothing but hilarious!! Less than half an inch of ice cream on the top of the cone. I said this is no where near the same size as the last two i just ordered, she tutted, walked away, threw it away and started again. Still again no as big and said this, she walked away. When coming back to the girls it was clear they were a lot smaller. ( her friends ice cream was still bigger and she had started eating hers for 5 mins already).mentioned it to the staff, was told i ordered two scoops so what did i expect. When my reply was i ordered one and only paid for one..she had no reply and walked off. So tried to manage my complaint in store but they were not interested. Customer service sucked!!! Portion size sucked, prices also sucked as i felt i was ripped off. Would not use again!!

Actually walked away as the queue was long and not moving but returned 30 minutes later and ordered a couple of drinks to take away and a cake. Enjoyed the drink.

Have walked past this place several times and thought we would check it out. Only had Iced coffee, Americano, & 2 rolls. Service was pretty slow, one young lady serving, they (the company) seemed to think that having a queue was okay. It was not busy and I can understand why. One Staff member was polite enough but her colleague certainly lacked in interactive skills.

Nice quick service. Quality coffee and food. Visit monthly and never disappointed. Could do with more seating :D

Had vouchers from spree book for a buy one get one free on coffee and muffins. Fab flavours with muffins would buy these without any offer one is big enough for two people to share.

We visited at around 8:30 am and were surprised to find them open, fast service and really good coffee, the muffins were warm and tasted really fresh, although the choice was understandably limited at that time of day, as they were still cooking. Polite and efficient staff and good hot coffee, I was really pleasantly surprised.

2 regular late's, 1 bottle of coke, 2 caramel slices and 2 muffins - nearly £15?!!! 😱 Staff are abrupt, late's were almost cold and to cap it all off one of our spoons was filthy. Won't be stoping there again.

This is lovely coffee and amazing muffins but the staff are always rude, blunt and don't seem to want to take your money. Not sure I would return.

Needed a break from shopping and the daughter and I needed to refuel ourselves. The girl behind the counter looked really fed up and when we asked what sandwiches we had she just gestured to a few. As they were behind people in a queue we couldn't see them and she didn't seem willing to explain what there was. I had a muffin and asked what teas they had. Didn't realise it was a complicated question but the blank stare made me feel rather stupid so I helped by asking if they had breakfast or earl grey or peppermint to which I was told tea tea...

Expensive and poor quality, tuna baguette lacked a decent amount of filling and was doughy all in all very poor value. Will not eat there again.

It was the last stop before heading for home. My partner had been stuck in a meeting all day with little to eat and no hot drink.

We always stop here for a mid morning coffee and muffin if we're here shopping.

Some friends and I were shopping on Saturday and needed a coffee , we were in Chapelfield so I suggested BB's . We loved the open plan seating so you can sit , chat & people watch . The muffins , cookies and baguettes all look lovely and taste delicious , I've never had to take anything back . The coffee was good and my friend had a delicious smoothie.

The chocolate muffins are delicious, the sponge is light and the icing is perfect. Extremely impressed with the quality of the chocolate muffins, just perfect. Bingo!

Stopped here to pick up a quick coffee and a bite to eat. Coffee was good - not too hot as some places serve and the sausage roll was tasty. Server offered to heat it up but wasn't required. Despite being in the centre of the mall it seemed to be friendly, clean and tidy. The prices were reasonable and I didn't have to wait for an overly long time though this might be different at a busier time

We stopped for a bite and a rest when my family came to visit. The coffee was good and service was quick, there was a good selection of cake to choose from.

A nice place to stop and watch the world go by while enjoying a muffin or cuppa. On busy days it can sometimes feel a little crowded with all the shoppers going past. Friendly staff. Good food.

With so many choices these days, when trying to find a place to grab a descent Americano or whatever tickles your fancy. I find that BB's in the Mall is a great place for service,comfort and wifi access. An early morning break before shopping or work this place is one of my top coffee stops in the city.

The scrummiest muffins ever!! Lovely place to stop for a rest and refreshments. Good service and plenty of choice.
