I love this cafe in Eaton Park, it’s beautifully quirky and charming in a really welcoming and inclusive way, the young staff are always wonderfully friendly with everyone, the prices are great too with a cup of tea costing £1. The food items I have tried are tasty and there is a good selection of gluten free cakes on offer too. I visit often and alway enjoy the time I spend here.

It's way too boujee. Doesn't really cater to the kids much. Plus if you have a few children it'll cost a fortune. My child wouldn't eat eggs Benedict and the likes of. I asked a lady staff member with very short hair for a menu as I can't read what's on the wall and she pointed out so sarcastic the menus on the wall. Well that's great but the handwriting is so bad and my eyes don't see that far. All the kids wanted was some chips to share but they don't do chips. Most of the children highchairs are unstable and broken too. I did tell the staff member. Looked nice and clean anyway but wouldn't return

This place is pretentious and overpriced for not much at all. Still being made to queue outside when everywhere else dropped covid distancing well over a year ago. Asked for a large coffee to be told they only have one size of drink! Considering this is a cafe in a PARK they are not child friendly at all. Apart from some pombears and a fruit drink with no straw (luckily my toddler did manage to drink out of it) they have nothing to offer little ones. Even the ice creams are tiny pots of gourmet stuff that kids don't want. Waited an age for my coffee. Service is so slow, how on earth do you obtain a 20 minute backlog of hot drinks to be served! They are clueless and would not survive in a real coffee shop, can you imagine Costa Coffee telling people it will be a 20min wait for coffee! People would walk out. Trouble is they are the only cafe at the park and so will always have customers so I don't think they care. Come on Eaton Park get rid of these fools and bring back a proper family friendly cheap and cheerful cafe which isn't trying to be something it's not.

This is a really lovely coffeehouse. It's set in a beautiful Neoclassical revival colonnade around a scenic rotunda in Eaton Park. The food is really yummy; I especially recommend the halloumi, stuffing, and winter slaw bap. The "posh coffee" is really good. Chai lattes are served here too. The coffeehouse service was great. Food comes out quickly enough, and the staff are happy to answer questions. It appears that this place can be very busy, so come early or allow for a lot of time, especially on the weekend. The atmosphere is laid back (dogs and kids are very welcome) and unpretentious, but there are charming bits like local art, a couple of upright pianos, and old candles. A really nice establishment.

They still seem to be operating some sort of covid 'one in, one out' system, which resulted in a long queue outside. There was no differentiation in the queue about whether you wanted to sit in/have food/take-away. All we wanted was a quick take away coffee. It would make more sense to have a coffee hatch for take outs, or at least separate queues. The coffee itself was nice, although expensive at £3 for a small coffee. They also didn't have any lids for take out coffee. Overall, not great for a quick take away coffee. Can't comment on the food.

The only cafe in the park and, it's just about ok, but it could be so much more. It was so much better pre-covid, but now they have rid themselves of proper teapots and plates and everything is in little paper or plastic bags, or the tiniest paper cups you have ever seen for teas, coffees and food at prices befitting table service and a proper cafe experience. The place never feels clean or cared for and the mostly nonchalant staff seem to care little about your experience. Queue up outside to order and get shifted out into the garden and ignored. It could be so good, but it just makes so little effort. Two or three sips and your tea is over. This park is so good, it deserves better. The queues will keep coming and while they do, maybe they just don't care. Certainly seems like it. When you have the monopoly, why bother to make it any good?

Had gone to the park for a walk and had read many positive reviews about the cafe. On arriving at the cafe we discovered a queue of about 7/8 people waiting outside. A lady was controlling access to one group or couple at a time. It took around 25 minutes to be allowed in, it was something of a surprise to discover that we could walk straight up to the counter to order. We ordered a wrap and a tuscan bean stew paid and were asked were we sitting inside or outside, as all the tables were taken we said outside. We sat outside and finished our tea before the food arrived having taken something like 15 minutes. My husband looked at his tuscan bean stew and wondered how to eat it as the person who served us had gone back inside so he stood up to go back inside for some utensils when he discovered a box with said utensils. (It would be helpful if staff at the service counter let you know where utensils are, or possibly the individual delivering the food who could either pick up the utensils or failing that let you know where to pick up.) The tuscan bean stew was more than warm and the wrap was excellant. Cannot imagine any possible reason why we might wish to return. We were here for about an hour of which it took 10 minutes to eat the food.

We’ve been coming to the cafe for years, we like the eclectic decor and the food is generally good! What let’s it down? No children’s options whatsoever, not even sandwiches/rolls, you have to pay for an adult bap and our child can only ever manage half so it’s just a waste. When your cafe is in the middle of a family orientated park you should cater to children? Secondly, they never reopened their toilet inside the cafe after covid, which means you have to use the disgusting public toilets which smell like actual sewers! Please re-open your toilet so your customers aren’t subjected to use the public toilets which rarely have soap!

The food here is really decent and adequately priced. You can get a cheese bap for £2.50. I had a fish finger bap for £5.50 which, while it feels a tad expensive, was TOTALLY worth every penny. Incredibly delicious fresh food. The only reason this got 3 stars is purely because of the weird queuing system. There is a staff member insisting you wait outside until they usher you in to place your order. You can't sit anywhere until you order, and then someone comes near where your sitting and shouts your name to give you your order. This system is representative of a really weird sense of oppression throughout the cafe. There are signs everywhere telling you what you can and can't do. No entry here, no ball games there, exit this way, order inside before sitting, dont queue round the corner. There was even a sign saying that I could not sit on a certain side of a bench. So, in summary, brilliant food but you have to enjoy it in a restrictive environment.

It was afternoon tea with a twist very nice, the service was excellent but the atmosphere could have been better only in so much as the music felt it should have been Latin type music and a little quieter as it was afternoon

After a long time, I visited Waring Store , and it was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is cozy, soothing, and beautifully designed with great interiors and just the right background music – not too loud, which added to the relaxing vibe. The staff were friendly, making the whole experience even better. I ordered a fresh orange juice, and it was made right in front of me, super fresh and delicious! I also tried their salad, which was very tasty and refreshing. Later, I had a scone, which had a bit of a noticeable baking powder/soda taste, but other than that, everything was excellent. Normally, I just grab a coffee or hot chocolate to-go, but this time I decided to sit down and enjoy the full experience – and I’m glad I did! I’ll definitely be coming back

Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch here. Meat was plentiful, veg was just right, not too fluffed up Yorkshire and tasty roast potatoes. Sausage was a full one, not a chipolata. Gravy was thick and tasty. A good plateful served by friendly staff. Would recommend.

Fantastic cheese and fruit scones! We cannot have enough of them. Friendly service. You can also get the scones at the market in Norwich or at a kiosk in the cathedral precinct.
