The girl on the counter didn't explain one of the deals to us very well, all 3 of us misunderstood her, when I later queried it with her she spoke to me like a child and gave me a 'look'.

The Tearoom staff are extremely rude they need to go on a customer service training course. On our visit the two elderly women kitchen staff were not very nice at all, apparently one of them is the manager she was very abrupt, irrate, loud and rude towards a young man with a learning disability and had no compassion or understanding causing customer unnecessary upset. The young man who served us was very rude and ignorant towards him. The lady in the windmill where you make the bread was very nice, kind and understanding. Will not return.

This ancient pub restaurant is a favourite for simple food like fish and chips but also for highly creative dishes that are changed on a regular basis according to season and availability. Norfolk became a bit of a gastro destination a few years ago but this place has outlasted all of the celebrity chefs that have visited. Staff wonderful and wines excellent.

Great food and service, but a cold early spring draft when opening wood spoiled the event. Once again a great meal at "The Hare Arms" I just love my visits. As mentioned during previous reviews, the surroundings are homely and not pretentious. The staff are friendly without being too fussy nor inattentive. The menu is adequate with an added bonus of quality goods being served. Not withstanding, the Hare Arms and my personal customer experience has always been very good but not excellent nor outstanding; which is a shame. This visit has only one real let-down again. It was a sunny early spring day but had a particularly chilly breeze. The bar once again filled with customers for lunch, but no log fires cracked to warm the atmosphere warm. Some customers were wearing coats to keep themselves cosy, most just accepted the situation as we did? Our original table was close to the main door of the pub, and once again a cold draft blow in when it was opened. My wife and I asked to move to a less windy table, and the staff obliged without any fuss. Two senior ladies eventually occupied these vacated seats, and true to form they kept their coats on. Our occasion was my 75th birthday and the bill came to £75 plus. So what can I say to the management? There is a room away from the main bar for dining, so surely people could be served there rather than a drafty bar area on cold windy days

This is our second visit to Titchwell Manor and it didn’t disappoint. The staff really make this hotel stand out from others we have stayed in hence why we returned. It’s super dog friendly as well, making an effort to make him as comfortable as we are. The real draw is the location, just over the road from the beach and coastal walk all the way to Burnham Overy Staith if you want to go that far. We had a garden room both times which are dog friendly and very well maintained with nice walk in shower, comfortable double bed, TV, coffee machine and fridge. The paintwork could do with a bit of a touch up here and there but that would be nit picking. The bar/restaurant is also dog friendly which is great and the staff really made a fuss of the dog which was lovely. The evening meal is fine dining and changes every day, it uses good quality local ingredients and everything is made in house, even down to the butter which is a nice touch. It’s not cheap to eat there but you get what you pay for! Breakfast was also excellent, fresh coffee and a selection of cereals, granola and yogurt. You can choose between a full English, salmon and eggs or even locally smoked kippers which were amazing. We would certainly recommend staying here for a relaxing break and we will return!

Very very disappointing. Have been here a few times in the past, but today's trip was awful. Fish batter was very brown and almost chewy, and the chips were pretty much the same. 2 cod and chips with 2 cans of drink and some sauces cost £45. Each can of vimto was over £2. Not a nice meal and a ridiculous price. Sadly we will not be returning again.

Went there today hoping to have a rack of ribs but Sunday dinner times they only do roast meals or pies alongside appetizers and desserts. We both ordered the Roast Beef meal which didn't take that long considering the huge numbers in there. Waitresses were very friendly and approachable and were working hard. Drink order was taken very quickly. The roast beef main to be honest was lovely and my husband said it was the best he had in a restaurant. When plates were taken away we were asked if we wanted desert menu. My husband had apple pie and I had the Brownie. Again my husband was very happy with his meal and my desert was also lovely. My husband gave both courses 10/10 and I would do the same. Special credit to the girl who served us who had to deal with a table that had been left looking like a bomb site. She should not have had to clear that mess. Nothing whatsoever to complain about and we will definetly go back soon.

The food very nice apart from Parsnips they were cremated from the carvery. Apart from that everything fine. Louise the waitress very attentive. And very good at her job. Very polite. Very welcoming. Have been several times. Going again in March.
