Had a wonderful meal ...the steak was cooked perfectly.... chips, mushrooms,onion rings,all the trimmings......only complaint was too much!!

NEW As a reasonably regular visitor for lunch we were very disappointed today by the service or rather the lack of service.We waited nearly 40 minutes for our lunch today, in a not very busy pub bar. When we queried the delay we were told it it was due to a rush of people arriving and that meals were prepared in order. No apology for the delay at all. For the record only one couple had arrived after us and they had not only received their meals but had finished and were preparing to leave before we received our orders. Needless to say we will not be visiting again.

Had a Christmas lunch, just four friends. Was disappointed with the plated meal. Not served very hot and very basic.

We were visiting long standing friends in Kings Lynn, who recommended this establishment. My friend and ordered the Veggie special which was supposed to consist of a burger, chips , halloumi , onions and salad what was served was a burger a chips.My wife ordered a Ceaser salad which was a wet limp salad which must have been made hours previously and inedible, I ordered a medium rare steak but got a medium steak. We really felt for to poor waitress who had to hear what we thought of what was served

We have been here quite a few times for evening meals and they have been reasonable but the last meal was not up to scratch my son who is a chef said it was as if there was a trainee chef in the kitchen. I had Cumberland sausage which was hard onions which were still raw and the mash was dry as a bone. The sea bass was floured and overcooked. You do not flour sea bass. Deep fried seaweed was deep fried rocket and not enough sauce. We were asked at the till if everything was okay and my wife said no some of it wasn’t very good, but there was no response from the bar staff. Felt it was quite expensive at £97 for what we had. We probably won’t come back anymore.

We brought four of our friends for a meal here and it was so good. Thank you for super food, well cooked and all dishes were served nice and hot. My husbands steak was the best he had eaten, cooked to perfection.

A great buffet meal for 30 today served with professionalism and a smile. Excellent service and food. Great atmosphere and choice of drinks

Lovely food, helpful staff and open for a good amount of hours. Sometimes a little cool in the conservatory but food always piping hot.

Sunday lunch at this friendly village pub known locally as, The Mucky Duck, was lovely. The service was provided by several young girls who worked very hard to make their customers feel welcome and provided good service . The food was hot and beautifully presented. My only criticism is that there was no choice of meat for Sunday lunch. However, the roast beef was well cooked and the trimmings were imaginative - stuffing ball, pig in blanket and Yorkshire pudding! The pub is family friendly and has a large beer garden so is dog friendly too. I would happily eat here again.

I visited the Swann with four friends for a Christmas lunch. We had preordered our meals from their Christmas menu.. Three of us arrived together and we were told we would find our table in the conservatory as it had our name on it. She said she would come and take our drinks order. We sat there until our other two friends arrived and then she eventually came to take our order for drinks. Our starters came and my Brie bites were nice and the comments about the fish cake was it was OK. Then the plates were taken away and the mains brought in. Three traditional roasts arrived and we said we had only ordered two as I had ordered a nut roast. The waitress came in with the order they had written down and it showed three roasts and no nut roast. Fortunately I am not a vegetarian so I had little choice but to have the Turkey roast. It was OK, a bit overcooked was our verdict. Again the plates were taken away and the desserts arrived. I had ordered G&T cheesecake. I had never eaten a cheesecake like it. No resemblance to any type of cheese and not sure where the gin and tonics came in. We had to find someone to serve us coffee and then again to ask for the bill which we then had to take to the bar to pay. Talk about do it yourself! Sorry but I won’t be going back, it was just a pub serving food. The staff had no idea how to serve people properly or how to interact with their customers.

We had a privately set up room for our group lunch. The service was very good and I enjoyed my meal which was beautifully presented, hot, delicious and very reasonably priced. Others sitting near me also were very happy with their food.

I am a regular of at this pub, I come here often and I love every visit. The landlord and all the staff are nice. I’ve had many meals here and would definitely recommend the seabass. Highlight of my week is the Sunday raffle.

Visited here recently and the food was really good. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the service. Two of our main courses were given to another table and when the waitress tried to give them the third they realised they had given the wrong plates to the wrong table. They then proceeded to move the plates, which had already been set down in front of the guests on the other table, over to ours and explained that they had not been touched. We refused to accept the food and politely asked if it could be cooked to order again. We explained we were not comfortable eating food which had already been placed down in front of other guests and that it was highly inappropriate in a pandemic. They took the plates away and then two waitresses then proceeded to bring two of our other main courses. We explained we were not very happy as we wanted to all eat together and not separately whilst we waited for the other food to arrive. We politely asked if we could have it all redone to come out together. The waitress with glasses and blonde/brown hair tied back in a ponytail was very rude and confrontational and said we would have to repay if the food was to be done again. I said this was ludicrous and after speaking to somebody more senior they did eventually agree our request. I was shocked by the lack of empathy of this particular waitress who was like a bulldog chewing a wasp. As the food was really nice, it was such a shame for the whole experience to be ruined by the rudeness and insensitivity of one particular waitress and overall lack of understanding that plates of food should not be transferred between guests sitting at different tables. I accept that we all make mistakes however, staff clearly need to recognise when mistakes are made and not try to cover them up and become confrontational about the situation with guests.

Lovely beer garden and friendly place but unfortunately it is let down by lack of beer and ale selection. The larger and ale availability has barely changed in last few years

Second time for visit this time for curry night. Absolutely best Jalfrazi curry we’ve ever had. Curry including drink £9.95. Chips were extra but well worth it. We will definitely be back on Thursdays . Staff very friendly credit to the pub. We only live 10 mins away.

We visited the Swan at South Wooton intending to have some lunch today. We had travelled from Nottingham and therefore could not book a table as arrival time was not guaranteed. We were also not sure if we wanted a full meal or something lighter...

2 of us had a roast turkey dinner and it was amazing, huge portions, left full and the fish and chips was amazing too, good service, we will be back.

Visited for lunch today and sad to see deterioration. Bar and conservatory area decidedly tatty and refurb desperately needed. Worst food I had ever been served here despite being very quiet. Soggy sandwiches and oven chips not up to previous standard.

Been here a few times now with family. We love the variety on the menu. Anything from light bites to more refined food suiting all tastes. We didn’t feel rushed at all. The food does take time but it’s freshly made so worth the wait.

Lovely pub , friendly staff. The gluten free menu is limited , only 3 choices and the desserts were sorbet with fruit or ice cream. Very disappointing as there is so much more you can do to offer a gluten free choice. Other than that was lovely

The title says it all, the staff and pub goers at this establishment made my out-of-country guest feel welcome and provided a great choice of beverages. Parking was convenient as well.

My wife and I dropped in for a pint to support the Charity Boxing afternoon along with a couple of friends as we were visiting them for the weekend . The weather was. perfect and the atmosphere was even better . Lots of families were present , children were happily playing in the large well kept Beer Garden and be staff were ever present and attentive either in the main bars inside , in the marquis plus the barbecue area . The charity event was great and very well organised by the new landlord , Mr. Bird. There were displays from adult members of the local boxing club , plus sessions with different ages of children too all taking part before the actual charity fights Needless to say we all loved it : the ales too were very well kept which as an ex landlord is something that has to be a priority and we really felt part of the great community spirit that was created by this event and we will do our best to attend again next year . Well done to the landlord and his staff for providing such a good day for all

After a day out we had a good meal here. Food was nice and hot and served to us by a very polite young lady. Choice of food was a bit limited though.

First visit under the new management. Meeting friends for dinner. The ales were always good. Not tonight. The Abbott Ale was dead.

Not so long ago you could rely on getting served a fine pint of Abbot Ale.....the standard and quality has massively dropped im afraid.....its a shame but i no longer can support this pub as my 'local' especially at top prices in the area. Cummon guys a pub is primarily for beer right? You shouldn't even try and serve it in that condition, get it back to the excellent standard it was.

Went with 17 other work colleagues for a meal. We were all impressed in how all the food came out in one go. No one had to wait for their food and it was still hot. Food was lovely and presented well.

Friendly service and tasty food. It has a gluten free menu with a good choice which is very helpful Will go again.

We dined with a number of friends at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. There were no complaints from any of our friends about the standard of food or the service offered. Amongst us we tried a number of different dishes, but the most popular was the sea bass. There were no complaints about the size of this main course or re its contents. Some of our friends did struggle with the large size of the pork belly dish. But all in all our group was content with dining at this location.

Being a regular to this enjoyable restaurant it has gone down considerably regarding service. The staff on duty in the dining room are inexperienced and lack the basic knowledge of serving food. We received no welcome on arrival, no mention of specials, when the meal arrived the dishes were served by stretching across the front of us instead of by the side, when the plates were removed after sometime the waitresses still left one plate on the table until we left. The coffees were served cold and when asked for it to be heated or replaced the waiter returned with about one inch of coffee in the bottom of the cup. No one asked if the meal was satisfactory or if we required any dressings or accompaniments. However the food as always was good. Please Mr Manager get some waiting staff that know their job and with experience like you have had in the past. Your establishment serves the best food around Lynn don't spoil it by having staff that do not have the training. Your waitresses in the past have been spot on.not so this time

This could be such a lovely, local pub but when you walk in the door and are met with silence and the people that are in there turn around and look at you in a ‘you’re not from around here’ manner, I would avoid at all costs.

Although it is wise to book I was lucky and there had been a cancellation. The food was fantastic as was the service. There is a great choice of food and drinks. I will certainly be going back, and will remember to book so I won’t be disappointed

Came for sunny summer sunday drinks and wanted to order some side orders. To which we were told there was no food available as they had a buffet on for a party... fair enough....until the table next to us gets menu dishes arrive 5 minutes later! Another local group of people lost. If ur face dont fit here dont bother!

We were visiting the area and The Swan aka The Mucky Duck was recommended to us for lunch. Located on the outskirts of King's Lynn opposite a little duck pond and park this is a great pub. The staff were attentive and friendly and were shown to our table in the conservatory. The menu is may appear to be pretty standard pub grub but the quality and presentation is far from that. Simply put it was outstanding and real value for money. I personally recommend the sea bass on crushed new potatoes served with deep fried seaweed, wonderful.

Been going this pub on a Friday after work for a number of years on a Friday. Recently the atmosphere has declined there's a group with noisy kids which causes the adults with them to shout to be heard over them. In a small area this becomes very loud. There's a second family who let the kids on tablets but turn the volume up to maximum making area even louder. What was a good relaxing atmosphere has started declining. Some more consideration for others would be appreciated from those with children.

First time here and what a delight. Happened to be on pie night and had the chicken and red wine pie, which was delicious and the sauce with it sumptuous. My dining companions enjoyed the steak pie and the huge portion of fish looked and smelled delicious. Puddings were lovely and generous in size, though eating brownie with a sundae spoon and crumble from a glass was not ideal. Staff were Ok but not overly friendly and it was quite hard to find someone to pay! Would go back though as at £15 per head for a yummy main and pud I can put up with slightly flaky staff.

We were staying in a local bed and breakfast and were recommended by the owners as the food was good and also for the friendly atmosphere. Fair enough we went on a Thursday evening about 6 ish and thought it maybe busy but its not at the height of the evening, all the available seating and tables had reserved on them, when asking one of the staff if we could sit even if the tables had been booked for later was told no. Got to the bar locals perched up against it not one of them moved so we could order a drink and turned their backs to us. Had to go into the public bar which was more friendlier and at least we could sit also could have had something to eat there. So fed up we left and ate at our B & B which in fact was brill for food. The next night went to the other local pub may not have the older style but felt more welcome.

Visited today 12/1/18 for a birthday dinner in a party of 8 just got too say well done chef all meals were superb well presented and piping hot. I had the cod and chips basic I no but it was the best cod and chips I’ve had in a long while wife had belly pork and she said it was the best she’s had . All staff very helpful we will deffo be returning for meals

Its a warm and comfortable two bar pub with an added conservatory for dining. The menu was interesting and varied and the fish and chips I chose was excellent, with a generous serving. Perhaps a tad expensive by local standards, but it would be difficult to leave still hungry. The service was excellent, and there was a choice of 4 cask beers, the Copper Dragon Golden Pippin being my choice. It was good to be in a pub with no background music or TV screen and being able to hold a conversation. Overall, well worth a visit.

I have eaten at the swan many times before but not for a little while, I rang and booked a table quite last minute as we had family visit and we were unsure when they would arrive, the gentleman I spoke to was so helpful and manage to squash the four of us in in the lounge area, this was by no means uncomfortable, the menu had a brilliant selection, and also there was a burger special deal on which we were advised about. We were shown to our seats and given a chance to make our choice and very polite lady took our order joking with us that she doesn't normally do the orders so she hoped she had got all the right details 2 of us had the lamb cutlets, 1 had scampi with fat chips and the other had a salmon dish. We didn't have to wait long and four plate of steaming hot food arrived at the same time all cooked to perfection and correct delicious!. We never once felt rushed and as the lounge /dinning area is not huge and the pub was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening this was very nice. We followed the main course with desert 2 lemon posse, with black coffee, a banofee pie and apple crumble the presention of the deserts was lovely and although the looked small portions they were very deceiving really filling. The food was a success all round and also very reasonably priced if your looking for a great pub meal then look no further. Will definitely be back

Reservamos una mesa para comer el domingo. Concurrido aparcamiento era una buena señal. Un menú variado, pero todos elegimos el asado del domingo (carne o pavo) por £9. 95, pudin de Yorkshire, patatas asadas, zanahorias, brócoli, Patacas Chirivías. El 2 las camareras estaban trabajando duro, olvidó el rábano picante y el cranberry, pero recordaba hasta estaban ocupados con mesas y mesas de restaurante jardín. Se lo recomiendo y espero volver a visitar.

Aunque hemos vivido en la zona durante muchos años nunca habíamos visitado hasta el mes pasado el río Swan. Llamamos para reservar una mesa y ver en tratar las cuestiones dietéticas (enfermedad celiaca y lácteos). Muy servicial. El menú del almuerzo es lo suficientemente grande para ofrecer la mayoría de los gustos, una elección razonable. Platos fácil adaptarse para el miembro celíaco del partido. Las porciones son buenas. Uno de nosotros tenía un postre y optamos por el posset. Vale la pena probar. Sin duda volveremos.

Es inusual que salir para una cena de domingo ya que prefiero cocinar incluso como laborioso, ya que puede ser. Nos decidimos por el Cisne, ya que está a poca distancia y podíamos disfrutar de una copa de vino. Pedí Carne asada con patatas asadas...

Fuimos a un pub animado pero el propietario se aseguró de que tuviéramos un lugar para sentarse y traído dos taburetes. Nos gustó el ambiente aquí. La comida era buena y el servicio era excelente. Volveremos a probar la comida de otro día.

Since moving to Norfolk a few weeks ago this has become one of our favourite places to eat. Whatever we've chosen from the menu has always been perfectly cooked and well presented. Great value for money when you compare the quality of food served to the prices charged.

Needing a local place for quick lunch popped in. The ribs were great and sea bass fantastic. Highly recommended

First visit to the swan inn, and I can 100% I will be returning. We didn't know what to expect as we are new to the area, we were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived. It was fresh, tasty food at a very reasonable price. The man working behind the bar and serving food delivered fantastic service. Thank you! We will be back shortly.

Children's meal tailored to what we asked for, nothing too much trouble. Quality food as well, not rubbish. Adult meals very good too, good portions. Staff attentive and friendly. Nice overall atmosphere and feel.

Found this pub having just moved to the area. Great food, well cooked and good selection of beers. Just what a traditional pub should be, great atmosphere, good service from the bar staff.

The welcome was warm. The menu was made available quickly and drinks were offered. The specials board was pointed out and the order taken promptly.The food arrived quickly. It was served hot and was very tasty. the Stilton burger was excellent as were the onion ring (obviously home made and cooked to order).The meal was great value.

We are local and often visit the Swan Inn, the atmosphere, service, staff and food are always good. Went for lunch yesterday and ordered steak which was by far one of the best steaks we have had in the area. Well done again Alex and the team!

We have been going to the swan for years and always enjoyed the visit but this was the last time... We have been out for the day and not noted the time and got back to Kings Lynn at 6 so thought we will shoot round to the Swan and grab a quick bite to eat.. The place didnt look busy parking was easy and we went in. Not to many people about. Look at quick menu on the chalk board. We just wanted 2x Vegetable wraps..waited for bar staff.. They I asked to place order for drink and food and they said nope they are not serving food for "walk in" people until 8pm as they have a function on "outback" and so chefs are taken up working on that.!! I said there is no sign up saying that even the blackboard has all the menu on it and no signs.. If functions are better than local regular trade then so be it. BUT we will never return .. Especially as it was a wrap that would take no time at all to make up..

Had my sons 21st there so helpful nothing was no trouble there were 16 of us and everyone was pleased with their meal l personally I had sea bass omg everyone should try this amazing thank you Alex for keeping it a secret and thanks to James and staff we all had a fab night

Having been coming to the swan on and off for 20 years I had to rave about the last time. Lovely service, lovely people, lovely atmosphere and great food. Good time for food wait, delicious meals as pictured. Prepared beautifully. Any negative reviews by people here frankly need to get out or go home. All the locals are lovely and welcoming...as well as the always fantastic staff. You will not find a more beautiful, respected, established country pub with genuine locals.

A good selection of real ales served in great condition. The food is outstanding. The Sunday roast is unusual and very good with fantastic veg. Throughout the week the deals are good value, pie and a pint for circa £6 one night of the week with similar but different deals the other weekdays. It does get busy and booking well in advance is necessary for peak times. It can feel a bit like a children's creche mid to late afternoons with a number of mum's bringing numerous children along, more under 10's than adults, then in the evenings it can be dominated by the cliquey old boys gang who insist on sitting at the bar so no one else can get near. There is a large garden to the rear which is great in the summer.

Myself and my girlfriend went here for a bite to eat on our way through King's Lynn. Have to say we picked the perfect stop, great service, good prices and above all the food was brilliant. As the title suggests we will be coming back again very soon to taste a few more of their specials. The Swan King's Lynn, you have done a very good job at swaying Wetherspoon regulars to try something different for once.

I have eaten here twice, both times the chefs seem to make an effort with presentation when they should try to concentrate on the taste first.The bar is tiny and takes ages to get served, the regulars seem to lean to it while having a chat, stopping others from being served.There is another bar next door in a old scruffy room, but never any staff in it.Overall I would say the place needs updating and new chefs

We had a lovely meal here with a group of friends. We all agreed it was one of the best pub meals we had had in a long time. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We will definitely be returning.

We had some friend over and not wishing to drive round the coast we booked the Swan .. We arrived and shown to our table where we had excellent service and seated in the conservatory which is nice and bright.. We ordered our drinks and meals .. All of which came very quickly. I had the Beer battered fish and chips and have to say the portion was huge and tasted great. Others in party has the veggie skewers and also said how great they where.All in all a top trip and would recommend a visit to anyone. If the weather plays ball you can also sit outside and enjoy the sunshine, !!

Walked into a very busy pub which had been booked by friends. Was shown into the conservatory which was quieter and very pleasant. Menu was interesting with a good selection. Chose rump steak with all the trimmings. When it arrived it was a mountain of food with salad, tomatoes, very large field mushroom, peas, chips, and onion rings, I honestly felt overwhelmed. Steak was ok and certainly cooked as I had asked for it. Would perhaps have liked a better quality steak with fewer add ons. Others ate sea bass and lasagna and all enjoyed them. One friend ordered chocolate tart for dessert and was served the smallest portion I have ever seen. Overall a good experience and not too expensive would visit again if I was in the area.

We dined at the Swan on Bank Holiday Monday for my Dads 60th Birthday. It was Great!! We were a large table in the conservatory, the service was friendly, professional and the food was stunning, timings were perfect, all dishes arrived In great time, tasted great and were enjoyed by all.I run a pub/restaurant myself and know how stressful large groups can be, we were made to feel welcome and really looked after which made for a great family celebration. Can't wait to go back.Thank you to all the team.

Met up with some friends . seated in the lounge which had a good atmosphere. From the second we walked in the staff were attentive and welcoming. we all enjoyed a range of starters, mains and desserts and the food was very tasty. Again the staff were always at hand even though the pub was very busy and restaurant full.will most certainly be back a true find.

Came here with some colleagues for a week meal out so decided to come on the curry night. Very good price at about £5 each, great portion sizes and the cider was cold and Morrish! The curry was the type you would cook at home with lots of meat and veg with a curry sauce from a bottle but was still very good value and tasted nice

Twice in a month - "did lunch" with friends. We sat I the conservatory - light and airy with. Iris of the garden. The food was just delicious, menu varied, good service without being obsequious, and all served hot. Can't give enough praise - and very reasonably priced. Shall definitely be booking again.

We spent tonight at the Swan with a group of friends from outside the area,they had read reviews on trip advisor and were a little sceptical ! How wrong could they be ! The food was fantastic ! Starters varying from Chorizo scotch egg to Duck spring rolls all very well presented ! The Rib eye steak was a favourite. The Swan in South Wootton is a friendly local with a great atmosphere, excellent food, great service and we have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone

The Swan is very local to me but I don't eat there regularly. I booked in for my partner and I last night and our food was really lovely. I had a steak and it was cooked beautifully. My partner had the ribs and chicken and seemed very happy with his choice. Sunday roasts are good too. It's always busy so that says a lot. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Have had several meals here, consistently good. Reasonable prices. Very lively atmosphere for a local pub, think it would be good if you were one of the locals, but still not stared at for being an outsider!

I go into this establishment occasionally and every time have had a fantastic experience. Staff are friendly and service is brilliant. Wide range of drinks available. food is excellent. Would highly recommend this place whether it is for a drink, light bite or evening meal.

Always go in the bar side of the pub on a Friday night .great friendly atmosphere. last night kept smelling the steaks come through. They looked and smelled fantastic. So decided to give the rib eye a try. I was bloody glad I did . Was one of the best steaks I've had. Was cooked to perfection and was so juicy and tender . Chips were great so was the mushrooms , but the onion rings were different class . Cooked crispy just the way they should be . Can't wait to take the family in there this week. Never thought about eating here before as always go there for a social drink with the lads. I'm glad I did was exceptional.

This is the pub in the village in which I was born and brought up in, so I am disappointed that I feel I have to give such a bad review for the place. It was a wonderful pub when I was Younger. I went today to have some lunch with my father, I am vegetarian. I was stunned that there was one choice for me on the main courses, with something not particularly exciting on a skewer, and otherwise on the bar snacks I had to have an improvisation on one option taking out three fillings. The chef did not oblige, as with some places, to fill my plate with anything extra to make up for the loss. I also had to explain to the barman what vegetarian cheese is, he guessed it just didn't have meat in it. I am sad to say I will not be dining there again, if my sister, who is vegan had been with us she would have gone hungry. However if you fancy a pint and in old style pub it fits the bill. Time to update your menu I'm afraid to cater for the 21st century!

I'll admit that I am not a fan of public houses, as they tend to be either bland generic carvery chains, or dingy and unwelcoming. Thankfully the Swan Inn, also known locally as The Mucky Duck, is neither. You can dine here every day of the week, from noon until 2pm, and additionally Tuesday to Saturday, from 6pm until 9pm. Food here was very good, and the servers, although very young, were polite, professional and attentive. The atmosphere was excellent throughout our visit and there was a very good vibe about the place. We ate inside the conservatory, but you could eat near the lounge bar, with its wood panelled walls for a bit more ambiance. Prices were average, ranging in price from £8.10 to £14.95 for main meals. There were no real negatives to mention, blow dryers in the gents toilets lacked any power and were next to useless, I'd also advise bringing a torch when trying to get to your car at night, it is lit and not normally an issue, but it is best to avoid the puddles if it has been raining heavily. These are however very minor niggles, we had a faultless meal, and thoroughly enjoying our time here.

We visited last week with our young daughter... We were the only people in the restaurant for the first hour, before another couple arrived. The food looked fantastic, and the starters were lovely, however the mains were horrific! My partner ordered the steak, and when it came I could smell it from across the table- it was off!! That was soon returned, chef removed the dish from the menu & a replacement scampi was ordered. Which came out in record time, however the bread roll my partner ordered with it had been cooked from frozen in the microwave and was burnt in the middle - completely solid! I ordered the fajitas, again looked great but the chicken was like eating rubber and there was no flavours coming through at all - I could of cooked better at home!!Our daughter is only young, so we just ordered her fish fingers on their own so she could have the fish out of them - these came out and were lovely. But we were charged £4.95 for 2 fish fingers!!! That's extortionate! Anyway, we were still billed £50.00 for the pleasure of being served gone off steak and flavourless food, despite the waiter agreeing with all of our problems at the table. We ended up going somewhere else to eat!!It all looks lovely and presented beautifully, but its a complete letdown.

Easy to book online and prompt call back to confirm. Staff friendly and helpful. All four of us had different meals, one being a very fussy eater, and each meal was delicious. The staff did not hassle us in any way, and we stayed talking, in the conservatory, long after the meal had been happily dispatched. They even came in and turned on the lights and heating for us! Personally, my meal of sea bass with crayfish butter, creamed potatoes and seaweed was one of the best meals I have eaten locally - ever!

We visited this pub on holiday (have done for years now) it never fails to please. We were greeted by a cheery hello and served with great efficiency. As always food was delicious a great choice and cooked beautifully. You simply cannot miss this eatery after all it is in NORFOLK.
