Farmers Arms Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

We called in after a late drive from the North to King Lynn. Luckily, we made the kitchen by about half an hour. We ordered two mains, a local gin and two great local beers. Everything was very good and we throughly enjoyed the food.

We asked the server about special items on the menu but she didn't know about them; she said it was a new menu. The menu said there was a carvery available but didn't mention it was limited to lunchtime only. We ordered the calzone; it was very bland, we couldn't taste the garlic and I don't think the dip was right either. Basically = very disappointed :(

On going to lunch with my family we ordered all together with I got my bake potato 10 minutes before the rest when we got the rest the other bake potato was cold and the gammon was so tuff we couldn’t eat it and the young lady who serviced us was very rude thank you Cody for your customer service it was fantastic

Firstly, I think it's a great idea to serve a carvery on a Sunday evening as well as at lunchtime. The staff were very friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere. The carvery itself was delicious - choice of turkey or beef that day, both were excellent! The turkey was moist and tasty. Overall a great meal.

Sorry to say this but it was very poor . My wife and I had the carvery and we were very disappointed. The roast potatoes and parsnips were burnt and it looked like ‘yesterday's dinner warmed up‘There was no accompaniment ie stuffing or cranberry source. Very disappointed .

Driving home from short break o North Norfolk coast , got to Lunchtime when we happened upon Knights Inn whi h was serving Sunday Carvery ( the farmers) What a lovely place.
