The best restaurants in King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

We had a really nice lunch today in the garden at the Farmers Arms. The service was really quick and efficient . The salad bowl was full of prawns and very tasty , I would have it again! The fish chips was a generous size and was really tasty .

The food very nice apart from Parsnips they were cremated from the carvery. Apart from that everything fine. Louise the waitress very attentive. And very good at her job. Very polite. Very welcoming. Have been several times. Going again in March.

Looking forward to warm friendly pub for a casual drink/meal. Walked into a morgue, no heating, all three fires unlit, radiators cold, empty apart from staff, obviously didn't stay for food. Sadly another pub about to bite the dust. Would give no stars if it was possible

My partner and I ordered a meal yesterday evening through uber eats around 8pm. Our food was delivered about 9:10pm and we opened our food to see our order was not only wrong! Plus the fries we ordered were pale, hard and very undercooked! The cheese burger was meant to be plain and it comes covered in mayo sauce I'm allergic too! The meal was inedible... The restaurant closed at 9pm but my partner called them the second we saw our meal wasn't correct, they answered the phone and we explained what happened then they hung up!! I called them back instantly and they never answered. I called over 10 times and they still didn't answer. So my partner drove to the restaurant and the staff members were still inside but locked the doors, he knocked on the door and told them what happened. They said there's nothing they can do!!Absolutely appalling!!

Rude, unhelpful staff. Very unwelcoming atmosphere. Meat on the roast was tough but rest of it was ok. Main issue was the staff - not one friendly member of staff!

Called in for light lunch, really strong menu with a handy specials board. Food really enjoyable and staff really switched on and friendly.

Ignore this place visited Bank Holiday Monday. Bad atmosphere no welcome and then 2 awful cappuccinos. Food average and very poor service even witnessed 2 examples of rudeness to customers.

We went in one day for a nice meal, me and my fiancé orderd a milkshake, hers was cold and mine was warm. I orderd a panini, and when it arrived, the server dropped it on the table and instead of offering a new one they went "oops" and put it back on the plate. Also the salad is lettuce and tomatoes, thats it

We were staying in a cottage a short walk away. The pub was warm and cosy. We were made very welcome. A small menu but excellent fresh food. I had mushroom and spinach lasagne which was delicious. So tasty. My friend had scampi, said was the best ever tasted. My other friend had the cottage pie which was so good. The chef came to see what we thought, full marks. The bar staff were friendly and chatty. If you go you wont be disappointed. We will definitely be back, thank you.

We had absolutely beautiful fish and chips here which we took to the beach. The chips were perfect, not too greasy at all. I had scampi and my husband had cod and both were delicious!

Probably the best takeaway in kings Lynn and surrounding areas by a mile, order from here at least once a week and have tried almost everything they have to offer and never had a single problem, staff can’t do anymore for you, ask you if you would like a drink whilst you wait if you pick up, best place around 👌

Food very good. Large scones amazing. Lots of different cakes to choose from. Decent lunch menu. Lovely outside area. Huge indoor seating area. Excellent of accessibility. I parked near the outside restaurant and they let us in there to save me going around. My only comment would be that the quiche was a little bland. I would have liked more flavour. Maybe more cheese. I do love a cheesy quiche. Everyone is very friendly. Very clean and a lovely setting.

Possibly the worst fish and chips ever. Fishcake was like breaded carpet underlay completely tasteless, chips cold and all tiny bits some burnt dark brown. Only decent thing was cod with light batter. But definitely won't go back.

Great food, great staff. All food ordered for all 6 of us was amazing steak and ale pie was the best ever tasted, scampi, cod, sausage and mash, best chips in a long time. Great quality and service.

Booked a table in advance, told by waitress where to sit, another waiter comes over and tells us that this is not our take but someone else (on their own, not eating) was sat where we should be. Then asked to move because the waitress had sat is at a table that was booked for five people. Why was the person sat at our table we had booked not asked to move like we were? Unprofessional, poor customer service. Decided to leave and had fabulous service at The Crown Inn East Rudham just a few miles up the road.
