Brilliant value for money and the food is epic. Service flawless. Atmosphere is lovely too. Visited here several times now and have never been disappointed. Happily will recommend and will defo be returning.

My father passed away yesterday, so I rang the Woolpack to arrange for a funeral tea for fifty people. The initial call with a young lady was pleasant enough, but she wasn’t sure about being able to pay and have the menu upgraded (currently £9.95 per head) She asked us to wait whilst she spoke to the chef - ‘Richard’ - to see if this was possible. We overheard their conversation. The lady told him what we wanted - a funeral tea - and that we’d like to know if we could upgrade. He said to her “You get what you get. That’s it”. She asked if he would talk to us and he said no, but after she pleaded with him, he came to the phone. He was awful. We won’t be having our wake there, nor will EVER use this pub - our local - again.

We've recently moved to the area, and as a Friday night treat we thought we would try out one of the Chinese takeaways in Downham. No online ordering, and only accept cash! Food not great, tough bits of chicken in the Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken, and the mixed hors d'oevres was also disappointing - the prawn toast was rubbery and the spare rib was very chewy.🤮 I won't be ordering from them again, and will try out an alternative next time we are in the mood for a Chinese! 😫

Cold chips and two wrong orders. Was rectified without too much bother, but all good looked like it'd been through a tumble dryer! Also, no Minecraft toys for the happy meals (extremely disappointed kids) so replaced with a Halloween toy...in April!

Would never ever use this chinese ! they have rats in their kitchen along with rat poison ! This surely cannot be healthy for customers , i have notified health and safety of this issue as this shop should not be open to serve customers food . Solve the rat issue then reopen to serve customers as any shop would! . Appalling .

Pizza Hut Delivery - doesn’t do delivery!

Paid £60 for 2 meals and a burger and a wrap and a 15 inch. The pizza came burnt also asked for a deep pan but its definitely more like a thin and crispy. the burgers were passable and the chicken shish was okay but for the price of 12.50 I wouldn't pay it again. Customer service was also rude.

Fantastic carvery delivered straight to our door. Great value and piping hot. Portions great. Delivery was prompt and friendly. Would definitely order again!☺️

Justeat app didn't deliver our food even though they said they did but we called McDonald's in Hardwick up and they were very helpful they apologise even though it wasn't there fault they given us order what we ordered with just eat for free and given us free ice-cream thank you so much Kemp hope this is your name

All the food was cold. Half the milkshake was missing. W want my money back

This is our local Spoons and we visit not so often these days because we have both found their chips to be sometines pretty awful over the past 2 years. And true enought we both left most of them because once again they were hard. Have mentioned this to staff in the past and have sent in a complaint but they are still buying these awful chips. One of the managers of a more out of town spoons completly ignored us on our last visit some months ago because we complained about these terrible chips they serve.

Breakfast was excellent, delivery let you down

Never eaten a meal in such cold conditions, ended up having to put my coat on....definitely spoilt our experience. Food was OK but nothing special...put some bloody heating on ❄️

Not great tonight. Sausage and chips Cheapest sausages fast food takeaway can buy. Chips cold hard . Disgraceful that places like this can charge top price for such poor quality .
