Yummy breakfast at just after 7am on our way to our holiday in Lincolnshire. Food was hot, fast service and prices great. Pub had obviously just been cleaned too and toilets were very clean.

It’s gone downhill again drinks were spilled thanks to a bouncer now he’s trying to make out it wasn’t his fault I’m watching him now. I knew it was too good to be true

Came in for a quick lunch. Reasonable prices for fairly decent food but wow the manager needs basic training on customer service. What a rude lady. Demeaning staff and shouting at customers. Looking at other reviews it’s not the first time the manager has had a power trip and ruined others experiences here. It maybe time Wetherspoons do something about it? Even training basic manners wouldn’t go a miss.

Breakfast at best Luke warm. should have known been before and have seen people take food back. Cheap but not cheerful. waitress said sorry but I’m old and hardly complain and only told to tell so called cook to stop treating customers as trash

This is our local WS however not our favourite. We both had scampi chips and garden peas at 3.30pm. The scampi was excellent, perfectly cooked,8 pieces,tasty and moist. Thd chips were awful,they looked cooked but we're very hard inside and tasteless. The peas were almost cold. We eat what we could. I beckoned to the female server and told her about the chips and peas to inform the chef for feedback, she never returned! We sat in the garden afterwards which is very nice. A couple were smoking near us with no smoking signs around. Children were kicking a large football around. Not sure what to say.

We are local, and often pop in for some honest priced food and drink, and treat this place as a local pub, being local ourselves. It is always busy, always with a good feeling, and when you can buy a meal and a drink, for two, for less than £20, then this chain is doing something right, and what it also does is turn old buildings, and those with history, into welcoming parts of the community again. Great. Affordable. Honest. What else? Oh, always service with a smile, too.

While we love Wetherspoons (22 different venues visited + 1 hotel (stayed at Whitby The Angel)) our 20/03/24 visit for food at the Globe was disappointing as the food quantities had diminished considerably. It was cooked well but noticably much smaller portions despite last week being in Buxton (Wye Bridge House) having the same meals which were fabulous. Please keep the standards up.

We came to a pup to have a late lunch for a 10th Bday celebration. Our evening was spoiled by a supervisor/ manager called Caren or Caroline who refused to serve us more drinks because of the kids enjoying themselves outside whilst being supervised by us. She was very rude and her manners were atrocious. I believe she could of handled the situation in much better way, but lack of customer service skills and her personality had led to a spoiled evening and decision not to ever come back to Globe again! There are so many bad comments about the management at this place. Maybe it is a time to do something about it!

Not for us…it was noisey with rowdy groups of people…the staff werent that friendly and the food was terrible. I had the American cheeseburger which was small and tasteless with 8 or 9 chips…my wife had half a chicken and was grey…she took one bite and left it. Sadly this has to be the worst meal we’ve ever had in a long long time ..NOT RECOMMENDED!

Had not anticipated going to a Wetherspoons for lunch but were a bit peckish and were passing so popped in. It is quite a large place and was pretty busy but not packed. As it was Thursday, it was curry day so we both had chicken tikka masala, mine with a soft drink, my wife’s with a later. Very reasonably priced - only £19. The food was served very quickly and was pretty good. Service was pleasant enough.

Really enjoyed our visit here! One of the better Wetherspoons we have visited. The food was all cooked surprisingly well and the service was good and fast!

Great venue for super food and beer right in the centre of Kings Lynn, with plenty of parking right outside the hotel in the Market Place.

Approximately 10 of us sat outside in the beer garden on a Saturday afternoon for a friend’s Hen do. Of note we were mainly maturer ladies, not rowdy and not inebriated. We found the senior staff to be very rude, service with a scowl. A plate of our food was slammed that hard onto the table by the ‘duty manager’ that some of the food ended up on the table. When we commented that ‘she’s happy in her job’ and ‘she’s a bit miserable’ we were told we were not being served again as we had made derogatory remarks about a member of staff and some of our group had been vaping!! However one lovely young member of staff did apologise to the Hen and said she hoped it hadn’t spoiled our day, which it didn’t as we were due to leave anyway for a booking elsewhere. I suggest the senior staff go on some customer service training and the ‘no smoking’ signs outside are updated to ‘No smoking or vaping’. Would not recommend.

Staying in Kings Lynn for 2 nights and have used this pub both nights. The value for money is excellent. The food is lovely and drinks so cheap and the pub and beer garden are fantastic, will definitely be recommending it. Thanks wetherspoons

A typical Weatherspoon, the usual menu and local craft ales. The welcome is warm and food served hot and is delicious and filling.

After a long wait to order, due to the staff speaking bad english and not understanding what people were ordering, i ordered a breakfast with a coffee, just handed a mug and no indication of where to get my coffee. Food arrived within 15 minutes but was warm, not hot, no one checked back with me. I will give this place a miss in the future

Good food, promptly served even though the place was rammed.Cheap as well. Virtually no interaction with staff so cant comment on service. On a friday night it was very very busy and noisy.

Really disappointed with the menu,wanted the chicken tikka curry but was out of stock, so were all the burgers,had the steak,which was really more fat than steak,the waiting staff were all very polite and nothing was a problem to them,non the less had a lovely night with friends just the food side of it was a let down

I can't vouch for what is like in the evening but to just pop in for lunch is fine. The food is good, the beer is good and the unlimited hot drinks are good. And it's a very reasonable price, what's not to like.

The senior sraff are very rude and everything is an effort to them . The reason I give 3 stars is the lower staff are spot on and that the building and garden are lovely.

Not usually a fan of Wetherspoons. Ordered tikka massala and large mixed grill. Could not fault anything. Hubby said best mixed grill he's had in long time. Tender meat and plentiful. Excellent price and service.

My friends and I took a spontaneous visit to the Globe in Kings Lynn. This is an area we are all well known within and never had any trouble in the past. The manager Caroline serving on the bar would not serve my friend due to him having dreadlocks I find this very discriminating. When we requested for a valid reason the manager said she would check back the records and let us know why he was not allowed in, we waited patiently for Caroline to return for the reason to be that he was not allowed in due to now not having any ID. My friend is over 25 , and it's not the law to not have ID. The lady (Caroline,manager) was very rude and would not except us staying for a friendly meal before our cinema. The service was disgraceful and we feel discriminated. We will not be returning, we thank the Lattice house for there beautiful service and no questions asked along with beautiful food. I would NOT recommend the Globe due to poor management!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the prices , as one would expect from Weatherspoon's were very good. However that said the food was , at best, awful. My partner ordered the classic 8% sirloin stake, medium, and I had the jacket potato with tuna filling. The steak was only fit for mending the sole of your shoe it was so tough, and the jacket potato was as dry as a desert. Even by pub food standards the food was poor.

Had several beers and 2 meals over 3 separate visits. Each time the staff were friendly, the real ale on top form and the Simple Tikka Masala and rice was fabulous.

Spoons breakfast - can't really go wrong. It's not the best breakfast you'll ever eat, but it's damn hard to beat at the price.

Saturday evening for a meal. Struggled to order on the App due to the poor wi-fi. Weak signal on 4G. First three menu choices unavailable. Then the App just froze. Queued patiently at a till point as directed only for the bar staff to disappear and start serving at the open bar areas. Voiced my aggravation after standing in line for what seemed like an age. Staff very obviously inadequately trained and managed. Three bouncers on the door but rowdy crowd of blokes very drunk swearing loudly at the bar unchallenged. No social distancing anywhere on site. Very poor by Wetherspoons standards. Far better places to eat and drink in Kings Lynn. Walked out after 25 minutes completely frustrated. Had a great meal at Wenns Chop & Ale House just a short walk away.

When to breakfast in Kings Lynn lovely breakfast but always changed my fried eggs to pouched eggs but this week they wouldn't let me and had to have fried eggs and I was so ill with them don't think I be having breakfast again if can't change things on plate another place will change my eggs and they had pouched eggs but said they had to save them for another dish but I was there first

If you want fine dining then don't go to a Wetherspoon pub but if you want value for money definitley come. Both the pub and garden are good and the pub is well situated. It is an hotel as well. Friendly, efficient staff gave good service.

We have been fans of Wetherspoons and have enjoyed visiting some good pubs with Henley, Whitstable, Llandudno, Harrogate and my favourite Cross Keys in London among the best. Food is usually good and also prices and variety of drinks. However recently we are finding that the Wetherspoons pubs we are visiting aren't paying enough attention to the little details that make a good experience and cleanliness of areas is one of the problems we are seeing. The Globe pub should be good. It is a very large spacious pub with a large garden and is situated in the historic market square surrounded by nice buildings. However the lack of attention to detail here really lets it down. We sat down at what turned out to be another 'sticky table'. What are the Wetherspoons staff wiping them down with!!! Our table just wasn't clean and that put us off ordering food here so we only stopped for a drink. I had no complaints with customer service by staff here but our experience here also unfortunately wasn't helped by a couple having a loud argument near us (not pubs fault of course!). Finally PLEASE can ALL Wetherspoons clean off the sticky marks ( left by taking Covid notices down) on the screens between tables. These marks just make your pub look a mess.

Visited the Globe Hotel Wetherspoons bar and restaurant on the 14th July with my sister and brother-in-law. The food and drink was very good and the service was excellent ably provided by Mia, Joanne and Vicky who deserve a pay rise in my opinion.

We don’t really like food in Wetherspoons but we didn’t have much option so decided to risk it. It was very busy but there was a few tables free. We did sit behind the most annoying woman in the world but you can’t help the clientele. Ordered via the app with no issues. Took a while to arrive but it was busy. The food was ok. The burgers were tasty, as was the jacket potato. The chips were pretty disgusting as usual. Most desserts were out of stock so didn’t bother. It did the job of staving off our hunger.

We came around 11:15 pm I went to ordering food a lady very confused told me what is your table and someone will take order food for you.ok not one came,well yes at 11:30 came a lady to take away breakfast menu and we asked we are waiting for a breakfast,she call someone and come a young guy and explain we are waiting and answer if you come 10 minutes before no will be not an issue and reply we are waiting not 10 minutes we are waiting 15 minutes sorry but our menu is out of the system now and can do nothing.what a rubbish service and poor customer services.I know nobody will to apologise or respond to my review because not customer service

Been in many spoons but this one is the best originally a hotel its now a large bar with the best and biggest beer garden backing onto the ricer. The hotel was been retained and the rooms were fabulous. Would definitely stay here again

Absolutely abysmal experience. We tried to order food and drinks on the app,without success. Then we waited,and waited, and waited. Lots of staff walking past totally ignoring us, even though we held up the card to say that we were ready to order. Nobody came near us to apologise or to inform us of how long we would have to wait for our order to be taken. We felt as if we were invisible. After waiting for over half an hour we decided to leave. As we were leaving we spoke to a member of staff and asked ' if she was taking orders' she informed us that she was but ' she was the only one taking orders '. You have had 2 weeks to get your self organised yet you don't seem to have got yourself sorted out. Absolutely terrible experience .

A childish waitress with a Karen haircut seems to have forgotten all social skills after having a few months off We understand you probably don’t enjoy your job but please don’t take it out on elderly customers it comes across as bullyingAnd please clean the tables next time

Took my flat mate out for his bday dinner. Upon arrival we were offered table service, so we gladly accepted. However, after 12 mins of waiting, even though the restaurant was mostly empty, decided to use the app instead. To my great surprise, prices on the app are a whole pound cheaper then on the printed menus. Why? Anyway, placed our first drinks order while deciding on what to eat. Were informed that food must be ordered at same time, otherwise no drinks could be served. Would’ve made more sense to be informed of that before but not too bothered about it. However, when food arrived, not only was everything lukewarm, but we were missing the burger sauce on both our plates AND the smell of the chips was beyond nauseating... based on the appearance of the chips, they were not cooked fresh or properly... and based on their smell, not only is the oil old, but these chips are being fried along quite a few other items... very politely mentioned it to the server that cleared our plates but got no reaction other then “Oh thanks for letting me know...” Not impressed! This weekly regular will not be coming back!

Disgusting behaviour experienced today!! Myself my friend and our 2 children (who are in our support bubble) were interrogated as to whether we lived together we explained we were a support bubble so 1 household and were told no that doesn’t count!! Even though the government says it does!! We were told we could come in and sit at different tables or leave!! This was then confirmed by manager! Will never be going there again!! Disgusting behaviour!!

I went here with my family and really enjoyed it, but the track and trace online ordering was awful. Everyone around us seemed to be struggling too with it. Food was great, ordering was awful.

Hiya,Just wanted to say that we had really bad experience cause I had my friend staying over in Kings Lynn and we had diner. Food was good as always but... Our table wasn't cleared about couple hrs. We ordered two bottles of prosseco with meal. After all decided to move on on the shots. Got it. Ordered again. Table still wasn't cleared after 1.5. I asked waitress walking past to cleared it he said 2sec. Still nothing. About 40min past we missed shots - table not cleared. Went to the bar ask whats going on.. unfortunately they said my friend was to drunk (after 3 glasses of prosecco and 3 ish). Apparently we ordered shots to soon and this is why they wasn't serving us. We approach the bar asking what is the problem and been told that my friend to drunk (where after staff apologise mistake) that shots was ordered to quick and people is not allowed that. We asked to show the rules or procedures and asked if anyone knows it or been represented with it. We been told there is none of it. No one came to say as well that money is returned or declined,table still was dirty. I been told by the bar money will be in 5days. So we found this really unelectable cause table was massive mess no service, no explanation, no approach as professional. Vert disappointed that people can be treated as scam just because they can have fun even without a lot alcohol. We asked staff names even and they even lied then names cause they are afraid to take responsibility for them decisions what it was wrong. Very disappointed!!!

We stayed 2 nights at the Globe Hotel and were very comfortable. The room was adequate in size and had all the amenities we required - well stocked for hot drinks and plenty of towels. It was very quiet at night which is always a bonus - we slept well. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a reasonably priced hotel which is perfectly situated to visit all that Kings Lynn has to offer. Good value for money.

Ideal location,very clean and tidy! Following all the correct guidelines for Covid! Parking is a 2 minute walk! Very nice hotel and staff were very pleasant and friendly! Reception staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble!

Covid aware, staff on door to help with track & trace then takes you to table, some areas are table service others are for customers ordering on the App. Drinks and food came fairly soon after ordering on the App. Only black coffee shown on app but all types of coffee were available from machine when we were there. Tea is served in mugs but you then have to put a mask on & go to the coffee station for milk, the same applies to coffee that is served black but you can get milk. Food was hot and very nice, place is a bit rough round the edges but is fairly clean and you get what you pay for. This is a very large place so don't be put off if the tables near the door are occupied there are many more further inside.

We called for drinks lunch and more drinks....The staff very friendly and as now table service no problem for the staff as seemed to be run ragged.. And the meet and greet on the bar door who ushered us to a table, has a wonderful sense of humour which helped while we waited in the queue. One of his quips to the line who were waiting in the rain , was, Seating outside only folk at front of the line erupted with rage, he had to calm them down. They and all in the line found it funny. Our wait seem to pass in seconds, thanks to him. Must be a entertainer, THANKS go to that man.

What a friendly welcome we got from this really nice spoons. Table service efficient and friendly. We didn't have to wave to the staff to get staff attention, they were on the case already and soo attentive! Thoroughly enjoyable visit!

We booked this little stay the day before we arrived. Lovely hotel and fantastic social distancing in place. We had a family room for the two of us, large spacious room with double bed and bed settee. Tea, coffee making facilities and bottles of water replenished each day. Hairdryer iron and board also in the room. Heating and a remote fan for hotter stays, also a nice big tv on the wall. It's cheaper to book direct 3 night stay cost us £147. Parking is available right across the street we paid £2.00 for 2 hrs but the reception staff told us where to park 1 minute walk away 5days cost us only £11.20 for the whole stay.My only quibble with the room was there was no drawers only an open wardrobe

We had a really nice time in here on Friday, the social distancing measures put in place are very good, the staff were very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. We had table service which was very quick

If I’d not gone into this pub I don’t think I would have realised from the outside it was a Wetherspoons. Staff member was making everyone fill in Track & Trace on entry, once inside it was pretty quiet, a few old blokes talking rubbish and not much else. Real ale range was limited, which is unusual, food was standard and came relatively quickly via app order, although we were brought the wrong panini, when the staff member brought the right one she told us to keep the first one! So we ended up eating 3 paninis, which we didn’t really want to do.Toilets reasonable, interior standard Wetherspoons, not much more can be said. Ok for cheap food and drink but not much more.

The first time we've been here and we were not disappointed. It is a good place and was really good at social distancing. The staff were friendly and food was good as it usually is in Wetherspoons. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.

Don’t ever come here, absolutely awful service and rude staff food arriveD cold and was rushed out because we had to show ID even though we didn’t order alcohol, baring in mind we were already half way through eating we were told to leave after us both showing ID but they “couldn’t accept college ID” even though they had before On many occasions. Felt so rushed I didn’t even want to finish the food.

My partner and I sat outside for a couple of drinks last night, we did queue for a while for our drinks but used the app for the next round. The inside is large but the outside garden is huge, I've never seen such a nice wetherspoons beer garden.The next morning we returned and sat out in the sun to have breakfast (wraps). These arrived around 20 minutes later and we both enjoyed them. I don't usually set my expectations too high when visiting a spoons but this one pleasantly surprised me.

Had a breakfast on the 4th july around 11 oc.. Place was not busy... Eggs were hard, bacon was bitty and cold,tomato cold, hash browns fine, b beans fine,mushroom ok,toast ok, sausages the best item...very good. Someone needs to have a word with the chef...dont serve anything you would not eat yourself in a resturant! place needs a refurb. Too dark inside.

Social distancing very poor, full of teenagers drinking,teenagers leaving the bar 1.30pm very noisey,both nights trouble outside, cars racing around the market square, very noisey, got no sleep. Very hot day room fan noisey and dont work very well, window o ly opens 2 inches. Cant go outside for fresh air,as trouble outside. Unlike the female manager, I was getting brushed by by teenagers coming in as table near entrance to bar, we asked to be moved and was told very grumpy ok? The table was sticky food on it not been wiped. There is a app to register but couldnt get a wifi or signal. The app paper soaked in drink. We watched a staff member squeeze her cloth out of liquid onto the carpet in front of the female manager! They have no masks no gloves but picking up used napkins e t of the floor. There was no corona restrictions. The female managers attitude was terrible, no customer relations, miserable, treated us mature persons like a child, the tables close, people walking about to other tables bumping into us were we sat as they drunk, it was terrible. We been going there for years but we stayed 2 nights and left. But well done to john, he should be manager. Its more like a teenagers hang out place, it's gone down hill. Doors banging at night, shouting ect, another couple told us they wont go back the noise was terrible.THE 2 STARS IS FOR THE STAFF, IF I FOULD RATE JUST RECEPTION, ROOM CLEANER AND JOHN I WOULD SAY 5 STARS. I was very disappointed with my meal todayI had a bbq burger when it arrived, the onion rings was cold, so sent it back, all they did was re fry them and sent my meal back, I couldn't eat the onion rings as they was very greasy

Arrived during the week of the fair on 'Tuesday Market Place' Very hectic but parking still available. The Globe staff were welcoming and helpful, The accessible room was excellent, Evening meal in the bar was also of good standard, hot and value for money.

First visit for a Saturday Lunch. Clearly a popular good sized restaurant as it was packed full. Service prompt and friendly and the food was produced piping hot. Certainly one of the best Wetherspoons I have been to and will definitely visit again.

Been over a year since visited here and it has benefitted from a refurb. No secret we're fans of Wetherspoons - they just have the right idea that if you deliver good value you will get the custom. Reading Tim Martin's magazine (anniversary issue) they make an enormous percentage of tax payments from some 900 pubs. We dropped in for steak night and as ever, two steak meals and a bottle of wine for just over £20 is a bargain. Only moan and it's been going on for years- please keep your red wines at room temperature! Hardy's Private Bin is a great red but ruined when served freezing cold. Come on guys - not too tricky.

Called in for breakfast prior to going on a Pokemon community day. Fast quick service using the app, food was with us with 15minutes nice and fresh and hot. Eggs Benedict were fantastic and cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend them!

Stumbled over this Wetherspoon pub whist shopping . Usual value for money venue . Extremely busy and staff coped well . Venue is not outstanding but the barn conversation area adds atmosphere to this otherwise standard decor pub .

Came here for Thursday curry night. Giving that Wetherspoons chefs literally guard a microwave and a fryer.... how you can produce, a bendy soggy popadom four times is just bizarre. Two sets of Popadoms came out bendy and dropping with oil. Had them returned and they came back just as bendy and in even larger pools of oil. Pictures below of them doing backstroke...Come on....A stray cat could fry a popadom correctly.You should not be able to fold up a popadom like a fajita wrap. I’ve never known anything like it. Nothing but lazy staff who can’t be bothered to heat the oil up correctly which should be basic knowledge.other than that shambles, curries weren't that bad. If you come here for curry night, come earlier than later before everything gets turned off!

Second curry night. Going by the first we thought perhaps we could make this a regular thing. Well...we had ordered our meals, they came out in good time. 2 madras 1 large 1 normal. Waited a few minutes for the third a chicken jalfrazie, whilst waiting for the other curry we noticed how malliable and oily the poppadomas where. When the third curry come we asked for the 4 to be returned due to them being under cooked and overly oily. I feel the waiter did not have any previous waiting skills due to the fact he replied that the kitchen have asked me to look at them?? He took them away but did offer us naans instead, but we wanted poppadams. Shortly after they arrived ( well 2 out of the 4 that we sent back!!!) What a joke ,the replacement ones where even worse!! Not to mention the curry I had been eating the whole time was beef madras and not jalfrazy as orderd and given! Wasnt until I looked at the meat did I realise. No one bothered to check us the second time nor even clear us! After 50 mins of eating we just left. What a disappointment, truly gobsmacked that their excuse was the friers? So why are you using it if its broken?!?!?!

Busy pub, good service and low prices but the food reflected the low cost, perfectly edible but no more than that.

Looking for somewhere to eat whilst in Kings Lynn we stumbled upon the Globe Hotel Pub. Noticed that it was Steak Night, so both opted for the Steak Meal (including a drink). Arrived pretty quickly, and a nice tender and tasty steak. Recommended.

It's the first time we've been into the Globe for a meal and found the staff slick and efficient and the service and food excellent for the price. As with other busy chains we've visited in and around some of the tables there was food debris on the carpet but to be fair mostly where children had eaten with their parents. We would visit again.

Great hotel in a great location! Rooms clean quiet and tastefully decorated. The pub below is typically Wetherspoons, decent food n drink at great prices, would use again.

Had lunch here as you know what you are going to get with the Wetherspoons chain. Good value and cooked properly. Be prepared for a wait at the bar to give your order. Aparf from that service was promot oncevordered and the valhe is goid

This is the best pub in Kings Lynn for getting some sea gull action. The interior/beer/food is standard Wetherspoons, so if choose to drive a BMW 1 series because you want to feel special, but can only stretch so far, this may not be the place for you. If, however, you like getting good value on a beer and pub grub, it's great.

The breakfasts are reasonable value but always arrive quite cold which is a real shame. Not really sure why as they come out quite quickly. A fried egg came out cold and solid today so it had clearly been sitting around.

The food was served quickly and the food was good. OK "Spoons" can be basic but are usually good value. We took our 14 and 10 year old grandsons for lunch. The barman taking orders was flustered, did not know his way round the digital till / order interface. A colleague intervened and speeded up the process so he could complete our order and move on. Ordering was a surprise "Fish is off! " he grumbled so I ordered Jane some scampi. He trundled down the bar for her tea returning with a mug with tepid water in it with a tea bag floating in it. He had already been rude to the lady in front of me who was left waiting for a lager she had ordered. I said that lady before me is still waiting for something. "I don't change lager barrels" was the reply.

Simple, look for another restaurant and relax. complaints are simply ignored. Managers will not leave their offices.

i went to weatherspoons for a meal today were I ordered my food and drink on the app, the waiter came and gave me both and then said “do you have proof you’re 17” so when I told him no he said I had to leave and that I wasn’t getting a refund for my food neither. This is simply ludicrous!!!! What sort of 17 year old carries their passport to spoons, I ain’t skipping the country just wants some chips jeez. The fact I didn’t get a refund too had made me fuming but that didn’t stop me from nabbing a few chips whilst the waiter wasn’t looking. This spoons has rlly let the spoons worldwide down. P.s I will return this isn’t the end of this monstrosity

Great place the only negative was I found the bed a tad hard but that’s a personal preference other than that room was lovely for what we paid. Well worth it

Good food and sensible prices. Always busy but always room to eat. Recommend for family outing......

Not sure whether we went on a special night but the cost of drinks was exceptionally low. Service was good. A huge room so not a lot of atmosphere.

Came here today with my family for my son's birthday. He has a severe allergy to coriander . I asked to look at the allergens folder to check the ingredients of a pizza he wanted. Coriander is not an ingredient covered within the standard listings within the folder, which didn't surprise me as its a rare allergy. Found a member of staff, explained I had already looked in the folder to no avail and asked if he could check to see if the pizza had coriander in. The staff member returned with the folder I had just looked in. I explained again that it wasn't listed on there could he just check the ingredients of this pizza. I was then told thst staff were not permitted to give information on any ingredients not listed in the folder. When asked why he told me due to all the attention in the media allergies had attracted and they could not risk a staff member getting it wrong! 6 months ago I said I would never come here again after the attitide of the staff however I gave them another chance as my son wanted to eat there. Wish I had never stepped foot in the place, went down the road and had a lovely meal with no hassle at all when checking allergies, the Globe is the only place we have ever encountered to create such issues.
