Coffee was nice and was available in decaf with oat milk so that was good. I ordered the fish finger sandwich which I really fancied to eat and it cost £4.10. When it came I was very underwhelmed. You don't expect amazing food but I'd like a little more for the money. It was just basic white bread with a couple of cheap breaded fish fingers and a few green leaves. No sauce with it, although I helped myself to the tartare sauce sachets it would've been nice if it came with a little pot of it. A side salad and a few crisps would've been nice, and maybe in a nice roll or some thicker bread. I could've done a much better job at home, and it wasn't even very hot. Cost pennies to make so definitely a rip off!

Sainsburys cafe used to be great. It has now declined so much, visited on a Monday, thought we would have a bite to eat during shopping. Arrived for lunch but the menu has been reduced yet again! Favourites that have been removed from the menu are: scampi & chips, cod & chips, omelette, hunters chicken and soups with multi grain wholemeal roll (they only had white bread - which I can't eat) The Chile con carne was a veggie version "Chile non carne" and it gave me a stomach upset, menu has turned a lot more veggie. Bring back the old favorites! I will not be using again

Had a meal here today. Usually, we have no complaints but, today, it was so poor we felt we had to mention about it. My partner's meal came out absolutely stone cold (Fish, Chips and Peas). Upon asking for a replacement meal it was taken away...... and simply re-heated for a moment or two. Chips were almost black from having been quickly heated through again, peas were still barely warm. Poor service and even poorer kitchen standards. Makes one wonder whether the "training" received actually covers food prep/service. As an ex, qualified chef of some 30 years, it beggars belief that no one is checking the meals that are being sent out for quality, temperature, etc. Very poor, indeed.

We come every week to the cafe and despite the change in menu have usually been satisfied with the food. However..and as I can have nothing with flour or yeast I have to avoid beds etc, I had jacket potato with tuna abd sweetcorn. It arrived...a splodge of beige liquid with yellow floaters. I ate most of it..only because we had been out since 8 and it was 1.30. The potato was really hard too. What a shame. So disappointed.

One star for being open! The lady behind the counter looked so miserable, not a great start. Ordered a pie & a jacket potato & cheese, eventually received food from a much more smiley member of staff but oh dear the pie look very sad, my just described it as a soggy cloth with dog food in the middle My potato was barely warm, a side of lettuce only & no butter. Smiley lady took plate back when I asked for a salad with something else with the lettuce, she came back to report you could only have 20g of lettuce, & butter was 20p for a tiny portion. Please sainsburys is that the standard you wish to adhere to? It’s not good enough

Sainsbury’s restaurant Kings Lynn. After completing our shopping just after midday we thought a bit of lunch would be good so went upstairs and ordered fish and chips. Previous visits had been quite good and the battered fish and chips were a keen favourite for us and others. When our two meals arrived a lot sooner than usual the meal looked very uninteresting with what appeared to be a flat triangular portion of fish and I think oven-cooked chips with the standard portion of peas. It look as though the fish had been oven-cooked also and was tasteless. We persevered through the meal adding a large portion of tartar sauce to provide some degree of flavour. The recipe appears to have changed dramatically and I believe providing drab oven baked fish rather than deep-fried, probably healthier but certainly not tastier. Very disappointed, why change a winning dish? Possibly more convenient and cheaper to prepare. Shan’t be returning.

We have in the past been regular customers of the cafés here and in other Sainsburys stores. We were looking forward to lunch yesterday and were disappointed. Our regular choice is lasagne, one of us has the beef lasagne and the other has the vegetable lasagne. Years ago the lasagne used to come with either salad or chips and garlic bread. Then things changed and we had to order garlic bread as a separate side and sweet potato fries were also available as a side order. Yesterday we were told that garlic bread was no longer available as a side order. Sweet potato fries also are not now available as a side order. The salad on the plate turned out to be a rather uninspiring portion of green leaves, with no cucumber or tomato. Sadly we will not be returning, after having looked forward to this meal and been disappointed.

We visited the restaurant at Hardwick sainsbury's last sunday, on the way to visit family., It is a regular haunt of ours. It was busy, as they had sold out of several items on the menu. In fact, it was getting quite hilarious in a way, as while waiting in the queue to order we could hear people who were then ordering that they had run out this and that, so that helped narrow down what we could order. I, in the end had to order my sixth choice, the Hunter's Chicken. It was disappointing that the other preferences weren't available but as I have had the Hunter's Chicken there before, I assumed it would be as good as it usually is, and it was. We were served at the till by the always friendly Matthew. It was busy so it proves they musty be doing something right.

They used to be pretty okay; but have noticed a deterioration in the last few weeks. The displays show tempting dishes, so this morning, I was tempted by the scrambled egg on toast. When it arrived it looked nothing like the glossy picture. The scrambled egg was just dumped on the plate, with the toast on the side. The toast was hardly toasted at all and was quite disgusting. We had a regular cappuccino and a large cappuccino. The large one was very disappointing, looked like they had same amount of coffee in both, but the large one had half a cup of froth. We shall go elsewhere in future.

Our drinks I found had been made and put on the end of a counter around the corner....not told this is what happens hence they were luke warm!....so was the food when it arrived! Not a good experience and not what you would expect as a paying customer. The cafe was extremely quiet.I gave the dirty cutlery to an assistant who apologised and said she would go through the rest Having emailed Sainsburys I received an email thanking me for the feed back and apologising for the poor service but no recompense for the fact the breakfast was near on inedible and the drinks near on cold! The cafe itself was dirty with crumbs on the windowsills and floor and generally felt in need of a deep clean.

After 20 more minutes our food finally came, with no apology or explanation of how to reclaim the difference in monetary value. Overall shoddy service, and disheartening to see a 50p packet of 5 doughnuts being sold singularly for 70p each at the counter. Doesn't fill me with enthusiasm for the place. Perfect for a quick bite to eat. I had a breakfast bloomer which was a great way to kill the hunger before doing the weekly shop. Relatively quick, they were quite busy though so a wait was expected. The downfall is there were so many uncleared tables so you had to move things around in order to sit at a table that wasn't full of the previous diners waste. This also meant the tables were pretty yuck and weren't cleaned.

My husband and I go infrequently to the cafe as we have other places for Sunday lunch. But for a supermarket chain cafe this is pretty good. The food is good and the staff are friendly. Tables are quickly cleared and cleaned.

Great friendly service at the counter and good competitive prices (compared with Costa or Cafe Nero), but frequently find the tables don't get cleared or cleaned.... plenty of crumbs all over the place. Could do with someone more attentive going round wiping the tables.

yes its good value when you can get what you order, several times my wife and I have been to the restaurant only to be told when you get to the till that item is sold out, even those being offered as specials. That to one side the food we have had is excellent value for money, try there fish and chips or Ham Egg and chips great.

Staff super friendly, didn't bother us with stupid questions like most places do when you're in the middle of a mouthful! Quick and efficient although obviously a lack of staff which meant you felt a bit rushed when going through the til and drinks queues, and watching one poor girl trying to take out everybodies meal at a very busy lunch seemed slightly ridiculous - come on sainsburys, you're a multibillion company, you can afford more staff! Meal was lovely though, fish and chips

If ever you need a well earned cup of tea or coffee for that matter and a hot breakfast sandwich made with fresh bakery bread sausage and bacon, look no further than your local Sainsbury Cafe. Shockingly enough I ventured into this one and bought myself a decaff tea and Breakfast sandwich to go for less than a fiver. Really fresh and well worth the money.

It's a supermarket café, so what should you expect. I went for the fish and chips, with a strawberry milkshake. The fish and milkshake were pretty tasty (although lacking in size), but the chips were ever so slightly undercooked. Staff were dead friendly too.I'd say yeah, give it a bash!

Great breakfast at great value for money. Wasn't to long to wait from ordering to getting our breakfast. They offer alternatives to food you may not like for example I swapped my baked beans for a hash brown. Also a great location for watching the world go by on the hardwick.

It is a great value for money cafe in a BIG Sainsburys, always worth stopping for nice cup of coffee and a naughty cake after the big shop. When you there you'll notice how many people are chomping their way through the great value breakfasts'.If you're disabled there is a convenient lift.Worth visiting for the value and convenience because of their HUGE car park

Ate here today with my husband, we both had the big breakfast and it was superb.Egg cooked perfectly, superior quality sausage and bacon and some lovely seeded bread, toasted was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.Whilst not a massively filling breakfast for the price everything in it is well cooked and presented with a smile from the lovely staff.

Nice large area overlooking a busy roundabout - so plenty to watch while you are eating. You order your food and they cook it for you while you wait at your table having helped yourself to drinks and a dessert. We had excellent cod and chips and peas and although we did not have a sweet they looked super. Very impressed by the service staff who very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back. Nice experience despite being part of a supermarket.

We've been using the cafe for several months and only recently realised we could say thank you publicly to the staff through Trip Advisor. They're always friendly and helpful - carrying our tray to our table as we both use walking aids - and the more regular members of the team know what our drinks order is. There are options for those following a gluten free diet and the boards show the calories per dish which is very helpful. Food is brought to your table within a very acceptable time. The cafe is upstairs and the view out to the main road and beyond to the fields makes it a pleasant place to sit. Tables are cleared very quickly which means there is usually a clean table to sit at even with the steady flow of customers.

Two adults and two dogs enjoyed our weekend at the GTI. From arrival, the personalised touches really made for a memorable experience- homemade cakes, gin and tonic in the suite, relaxed but efficient service and delightfully presented accommodation. The pub and restaurant is wonderful, the food is exceptional. The service was wonderfully attentive and relaxed, the prices were good value. We ate in the restaurant and the pub, both menus were superb. We visited beaches, ran around the Downs, shopped in Burnham Market and Thornham Farm shops.

Probably my worst WS meal ever. 3 sausages almost burnt, they were tasteless and well overcooked which I said to the server who grinned at me. The chips as usual most were hard and inedible, peas hard. Served in a bowl with gravy all over the chips. WS has had a problem with hard chips for months, I have complained to staff and emailed head office to no avail. Thats it I AM NOT eating at a WS any more.

Made to feel like a leper when we walked in by I assume locals just staring. My 13 year old daughter left the door open, to which one of them got up and slammed the door. Was told they'd put 2 small round tables together in the middle of the room for three of us. Felt so uncomfortable we left. Was just like the scene in American werewolf in London, amazed someone wasn't playing darts. Avoid, go to one of the chips shops instead!

Excellent lunch as part of Norfolk Restaurant week. Had 3 courses, delicious chicken breast with parsnip purée, fondant potato, cavolo Nero and mushroom sauce. My husband had bream with a Chinese twist. We both had the steamed Guinness sponge pudding with whiskey caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. Staff are lovely and very attentive despite a busy restaurant. Have been meaning to visit for ages and it was worth the trip! We will be back.
