The best restaurants in King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Came in and it was very busy, long line of people. Caleb served us and was so friendly, our drinks were ready almost immediately despite the amount of customers. He was juggling everything with ease despite being the only person working at that time.

WHEN THE STAFF HAVE TIME TO CHAT THEY ARE HAPPY TO DO SO , The food is good , good helpings , not enough staff on duty to keep tables clear , it would help if people took their used crockery on it's tray back to the cash point when they have finished their meals , ,some do but most don't , if you are lucky enough you might have the brother and sister serve you up a meal , other staff in the café are mostly related to each other, Mother is in charge , her daughters also work there , they are locals , very friendly atmosphere . We go once a fortnight usually , some of the staff will remember their regulars .

Will NEVER visit this apology for a tea room again! No welcome/non-atmosphere, had to request fresh water for my dog; tasteless toastie with no seasoning nor dressing for salad garnish plus a teapot which didn’t pour!!!!! Several staff who had to be asked to serve. Very poor show! The setting is perfect and could be a thriving business with good footfall but total waste of time and money!

The most helpful and friendly staff. Quality food. Nice to meet local people who use this a lot. Gluten free bread available which was a bonus and the nice stuff too. A little gem. On par with the best cafes in the area and we use all of them. Get yourself there.

We came here for some food during the jubilee and the food was nice but the toilets were awful, the sanitary bin in the ladies was overflowing onto the floor, tissue everywhere and it smelt nasty. There was no toilet roll in either toilet. Mens toilets just as dirty.

Los precios no son nada más barato sin embargo el mobiliario es ahora más limpia ya que han planteado preocupaciones con gestión del hospital y entregadas a la empresa que alquila el restaurante. Parece ser que un limpiador de vapor era para ser contratado para limpiar los muebles. Las normas pueden ser planteadas si los clientes expresar sus preocupaciones, es demasiado fácil poner con bajos estándares y decir nada. Espero que todos los clientes se beneficiarán de las normas mejoradas. Habiendo sido un visitante frecuente de este hospital y utilizamos este restaurante y el restaurante arriba había una diferencia visible en los estándares de limpieza. delimarche logró una clasificación de higiene de los alimentos de 5 en 2012 Diciembre. Teniendo en cuenta que los pacientes bajar a usar este restaurante con sus familias y volver a las salas y la limpieza es esencial.

Edit: as of 22:13 it has finally arrived, nearly 15 after closing I placed an order at 18:55 30/03/2025, the delivery time was scheduled for 20:10 for six items. We have not received the items as of now writing this at 22:02, the establishment is closed, and we are hungry and tired. Do not order from here, we've called multiple times and received the same thing, that the driver "just left." Over four hours for our food and nothing. It's been marked as delivered yet nothing has arrived, I'm upset that £50 was wasted.

Los baños estaban sucios, tan mal que tuve que usar el baño para discapacitados que no tenía cerradura. Muchas mesas se quedaron con la vajilla sucia puesta mientras el personal charlaba detrás del mostrador. Horrible lugar para parar.

Best burgers in town. Efficient and friendly service. As a local I wouldn't go anywhere else for fast food in Hunstanton.

Food okay, delivery can take a while of they're busy I guess

Food took two hours to arrive, called twice to be told it was on its way when it clearly wasn’t. Order was wrong called to complain and rude owner shouted at me down the phone. Never ordering from here again.

Just been to the gatehouse. It's had a major refurbishment and its really nice now. Food and serves very good . We will be back

Best in Norfolk if you ask me. Never go anywhere else for my king prawn curry, and the kids love the chips and curry sauce :))

Meals were good. Ate here the 2 nights we stayed had plenty of choice. Really enjoyed the chicken tikka Masala wine was lovely.

Absolutely awful food, spent £40 fish was like dark greasy mackerel meant to be cod, and Indian food was disgusting tikka tandoori & pilau rice awful
