Tesco Cafe in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

WHEN THE STAFF HAVE TIME TO CHAT THEY ARE HAPPY TO DO SO , The food is good , good helpings , not enough staff on duty to keep tables clear , it would help if people took their used crockery on it's tray back to the cash point when they have finished their meals , ,some do but most don't , if you are lucky enough you might have the brother and sister serve you up a meal , other staff in the café are mostly related to each other, Mother is in charge , her daughters also work there , they are locals , very friendly atmosphere . We go once a fortnight usually , some of the staff will remember their regulars .

This cafe could be wonderful but they have a set children's menu which they will not deviate from. The fryer was out if action for. 2 months waiting for a part, so no children's meals could be cooked during that period. The store can't get carrot and swede mash at all which is a main part of the menu other than chips. When i asked for scrambled egg in exchange for the mash, erm, no! That isn't on the set menu. They are very firm and unwavering on this point, bit of a joke. Staff were friendly just following silly rules and have zero autonomy. No problem with cleanliness and the prices are reasonable.

Where do I start? We come to this cafe as locals and every time the tables are filthy, I have to wipe them myself, if they have been wiped which is rare they stink of that bacteria that grows on the cloth if you don’t change them! Disgusting! And also this cafe fails to provide a full menu for months now, it’s not good enough! Also get some more staff! The waiting time for a breakfast is an hour on weekends. What has happened to this cafe? Last time we went here there was such a long waiting time we all bought meal deals and ate them in the cafe. It’s a disgrace, the manager G.R needs to sort it out instead of just wondering around the shop doing absolutely nothing for probably a huge wage. Work on this cafe as it needs a lot of help and the staff just don’t care!

The meal we had was great the staff are really friendly and very professional. Coffee’s and teas are great we will definitely be back. Thank you to you all.

I can't even begin to explain how terrible this cafe is. I waited 15 mins in the very large queue. Waited 15 minutes for a cappuccino and 35 minutes for a bacon bap which turned out to be a stale sandwich. Both drink and food were cold. The queue is huge and people are huffing and puffing and sighing. I'm not one to leave reviews but this is just shocking honestly. The staff were quite rude too. Some woman as I speak is asking for a refund (after waiting in the queue for 10 mins), she doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. I'm easy going but guys this is surreal

had our breakfast in Tescos this morning and it was very good. Pleasant cafe Good friedly helpful staff A good well cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price. I am sure we will be back

Working in Hunstanton today and had some halloumi cheese both pieces tasted like vomit and took a smell and smelled like vomit as well. Was not impressed at all.

We have been here twice over the past weekend for breakfast and it has been very good both times. I had the big breakfast one day and the second time i had the breakfast wrap. Enjoyed both good value well cooked. My wife and mother both had the kids breakfast and there was no problem in swapping some items. A busy cafe with good food and hard working friendly staff. I shall no doubt continue to eat here whenever visiting Hunstanton.

Friendly staff food fair value and quality. Clean and bright. Great for a quick meal if you are in a hurry

3 of us went for breakfast 1 dairy intolerant ordered 2 bigger breakfast and 1 eggs bendict.First the server offered no information about the meal i.e cooked in butter she was also rude the hash browns were soaked in fat and the eggs benedict was over cooked and cold all this for £23 never again i will use morrisons better value for money and better customer service

Some bald man told me and my friends to leave the cafe after we politely tried to order two portions of chips , he then proceeded to say he would give a family of 7 a table with 2 portions of chips , this is ageism and not fair we have spent hundreds of pounds in the store and money in the cafe before, I don’t find this fair or respectful , it is awful and the food is awful too, get about 7 chips for £1.25

Refused to give us chips because the proportion of chips to people was too low when there was plenty of seats and we were paying for food, i am truly disappointed, and the man working in the cafe is incredibly rude refusing to serve us but admitting he would serve other people in the cafe with the same amount of people, the chip portion is too low and expensive for the amount you get.

Extremely dissapointed with the Fish and chips my husband and i had today. There was a sliver of fish hardly there at all with loads of overcooked batter on both plates.Terrible,never again.

Ordered lunch with chips, took a long time for the food to arrive, how can you burn chips if you are a chef, go to Tesco Hunstanton, they will show you burnt chips. Be a long time before I eat there.

Called in for breakfast and shopping whilst staying at Heacham , bit of a wait but meal was enjoyable and well cooked. Service friendly

My mum and I are currently staying at Searles over the road and thought we would come over and give the cooked breaky a try. We both did the "create your own" option. It came to about £10 for two cooked breakfasts and a bottle of water. Took a while to come out and they weren't busy, but food was hot and fresh so all good. Would return in the future when in the area.

We did some shopping here so decided to have a light bite & drink rather than go back to the caravan site to make it ourselves. The food was well presented and the hot drink were hot as well. The toilets were nice & clean, which speaks volume for me.

We have been here many times for breakfast and it has always been very good. Sometimes when its busy you have to wait a wee while though this is due to the fact it is all freshly cooked for each order. I had the bigger breakfast, as the name suggests it's big and good value My wife and mother both had the kids breakfast and there was no problem in swapping some items. A busy cafe with good food and hard working staff. I will no doubt continue to eat here whenever visiting.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. All freshly prepared, so if slightly busy be ready to wait. On this occasion i had a sausage bloomer sandwich wow the sausage were delicious and the bread was cut as door stops just how it should be. Cost of that was £2.50. Would go back again.

No complaints... good service, good prices too... clean n tidy eating area, and the toilets are clean aswell 10/10

We was staying on one of the local holiday sites and ate here two or three mornings and the food was great on each occasion and very reasonably priced!

Stopped in Hunstanton Mon to Fri and had breskfast here each morning. Great value , Great good and service. Well worth a visit.

Not a massive cafe but got a table easily. Easy menu to navigate and everything very reasonably priced. Staff were very nice. Breakfasts ordered and drinks delivered without fuss. Not high end produce but nice enough to fill a gap, and you get what you pay for. Veggie breakfast looked particularly nice. Big breakfast and kids smaller brekkies were good value. Would return.
