Quite a regular in this pub as I just can’t help returning since the food and staff are always perfect! Management has changed and I must say for the better. This place is so much cleaner, running smoother and overall a lot better than it used to be, everyone is a credit to the team. Booked table for after Christmas to celebrate with family. We pre-ordered from Christmas menu......mistake! Prawn cocktail "unavailable", at least half a plate of weird tasting vegetables (cooked on the same pot?), overcooked turkey (or warmed up leftovers?), and the oddest tasting sauces! Desserts were better, but "chocolate orange sauce".......no thank you! We won't be having our Christmas meal here again.

Lovely meal, been a few times when visiting Kings Lynn and each time been good Review for latest visit January 2025, unfortunately this place has gone downhill since our last visit, food was ok but some of the food was not available and was told by customer beside us it's happening a lot. Service was not as good as before. We had a table with staples in them with one broken. Moved to another and again staples, was told the tables are being changed in March, how long would it take someone to go round to remove them. A big let down from other visits

I work with a disabled lady and every week we go to this restaurant.. the staff are always very welcoming and pleasant ... the nicest place in town to take the lady. Tiff woods who works here went out of her way to welcome us this week and cut up all the ladies food for her and made sure she was happy in every way she could. This is a fantastic way to treat customers with disabilities.... we both have a lovely time in this place

Most times the food is great but you can go in another time and it not up to par not hot, sometimes warm...but it doesn't stop us going in regularly

Myself my husband son and granddaughter went last night to have a meal before taking my granddaughter home to Birmingham and was thoroughly disappointed and angry that they had run out of fish chips and burger buns and was only five past six very poor organisations considering it was burger special day really disappointed

Went for breakfast with grandkids to have with santa 🎅. Santa 🎅 was very good. Great with the kids. Food was very dear. Orders mixed up. Long wait. This is just our opinion. Some people complaining. We would not go there again.

First time here.Really enjoyed the food which was hot the whole time I ate it.

It was one of the worst experiences I had in a while. When we got there, we sat down in a booth and the tv screen was broken. After a while, we went to the bar to order our food and there was no burger buns, no chips, and no fish. It was my last day there with my family as I was heading back home the next day and we wanted to have a nice meal, and I never did thanks to the lack of supply. Thoroughly disappointed with this place,may not return.

Ordered 2 x lamb flat breads. Came on cold plates. Chips was just warm. The flat bread was cold .. very unpleasant left 80 %of food. complained and they knocked off the drinks . Don't waist your money . Cost me £27 . Never going in there again .

When we visited Santa was there for the kids,staff were friendly and polite,we had a full breakfast which was perfect and a proper cup of coffee.The atmosphere was cheerful

Actually booked Christmas dinner here on Christmas day, service was awful and place wasn't that busy. We had to remind them about a starter and remind them 3 times about the sweet. The dinner was bland, the atmosphere dreary, and the mens toilets stunk. I would say avoid the place at anytime time (not just at Christmas. I will not be visiting this place again. One female member of staff was making promises she couldn't deliver on (excuses), and another didn't even know where she was.

food was very bland, ordered salt and pepper chips and had a massive dollop of seasoning on top of about 3 chips, thought the lid may have fallen off their season shaker. onion rings were just oil and batter no onion. chips were cold & the chicken was indestructable

My party of 5 put in a complaint way back beginning Sept 2024 against > poor service, poor quality of food, staff attitude, we book a table but when we arrived NO table had our name on it re booking one staff member told us to find another table and walked away and this is the third time this has happened. The complaint went to CEO Office and we are STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY with a positive reply 23/12/24. The venue in question have got a few bad reports and nothing has changed ' a total disregard to customers and customers pay wages etc.

Terrible breakfast cold uncooked sausauges bacon stiff cold scarmbled egg was non excistent as it looked like smashed up fried one and toast stone cold as hard as a biscuit cappuccino stone cold one bite of food made me gag had to leave with a fefund and hungry i definately do not recomend this place

The staff are absolutely amazing, they couldn’t do anymore for us. We have been bringing our little girl here since she was newborn and she is now 8 months old, and they always go over and above for us and she loves it. Heidi is always chatty and happy to talk to us. I cannot recommend enough!

Also a good sports bar.

I was served by Heidi today and the service was exceptional. She was very attentive and always smiling. Created a lovely atmosphere the moment we walked through the door. She was eager to please and she was very approachable. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. Will be returning!

I came to the pub with my friend and the food was amazing. i ordered the gammon and she ordered the mac and cheese, gammon was juicy and succulent, and the mac and cheese was very cheesy and really good. The man that brought out our food was very chatty, charming and had sublime customer service. The lady who did our check back was polite. Didn’t have to wait long on food either, would recommend.

Food very reasonably priced, drinks and deals bloody great, clean and welcoming atmosphere for everyone of all ages. We've attended here as a couple for weekends away to visit family many many times and wouldn't be anywhere else for our chill out time, wind down with drinks and food .... 1st class service, great manners, clean, respectable and people who remember who you are ... Great service, unfortunately the chips were cold and the jerk chicken was not great quality meat. The Korean burger was missing slaw and herb salad. Overall the food quality was dire. Service good.

Myself and my partner have been regulars here for 4 years now and always have a friendly service. A lovely new addition being Curtis, very personable, approachable and always has a smile on his face and brings a breath of fresh air as well as very accommodating. Food is 9/10 as expected, pool and football available.

I came in yesterday lunch to be greeted with a lovely Lad I believe called Curtis, was very attentive and polite. I couldn't believe it was his second shift. Food was superb as usual. Will definitely be returning.

Curtis was very helpful and attentive. The only downside was the texas toast was not like real texas toast and got quite soggy quickly

I am quite a regular at this pub and it’s become my favourite in kings lynn. All the staff are outstanding and tirelessly working hard every time we are here. The manager Jordan is always on it and making sure we are happy and content. Highly recommend especially burger Friday :)

Staff are ever so friendly and nice. And food great, you can find something for everyone. Our family thinks that this is the best place to eat in King's Lynn!

I'm kinda biased as this is my local watering hole, being only 10 minutes walk from my home or 20 from work I'm in here pretty often and love it. The staff are always friendly and happy. Food is chain pub fare so don't expect Gordon Ramsey stuff, tasty and filling. After a hard day it's a great place to just chill with a beer or 3. They used to have guest ales way back in the day, not many just one or two but I found a liking to all of them. I will admit it is looking a little tired decor wise but when your in such a position with a hotel next door and the commuters etc coming and going, closing for a refurb would be a big hit in the pocket. And yes the gents facilities are pretty beaten up. Sorry. For me it's a nearly perfect place to just unwind or have a warm up with pals. Beer's cold, food is hot. Nothing complicated or posh (I'm not posh, working class and very happy being so). I love the place. I wouldn't go there so often if it was garbage. Could do with a facelift but can't fault the staff for being so helpful and damned cheerful. Mmm, full belly and just a buzz from the beers.... very happy. Cheers Ryler

Came here for breakfast as a big group food was hot and served quickly

As I arrived the rain stopped and a beautiful sunset appeared. There was a warm welcome by the staff and with the super quick service I was eating a tasty chicken meal followed by a crumble and coffee. My thanks to the very efficient team who made tonight's meal a real pleasure.

We arrived this morning at 10am for a birthday breakfast with our Granddaughter. We were disappointed to find a note on the door saying they were not open until 10.30, we decided to wait. At 10.40 there was still no sign of life so we decided to go elsewhere. We considered this to be extremely rude and upsetting, especially as it was supposed to be a special occasion.

Been before and food ok. Sunday we went to watch football and have Sunday Roast. All five of us who had the roast suffered stomach pains and diarrhoea. Won’t be having roast again.
