The toilets were filthy, so bad that I had to use the Disabled toilet which had no lock. Many tables left with dirty crockery on while staff were chatting away behind the counter. Horrible place to stop.

Popped in after the Monsters of the Sea exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral. I was served by Rachael. What a credit to your company she is. Greeted with a warm welcoming smile. Rachael was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She even took the time to make conversation about my work. Thank you Rachael. Drinks were A1 as always!

Had a mozzarella toastie which I can only imagine would be similar to eating sludge, and a coffee that tasted as if it was linked to the dishwasher waste pipe. Dismal setting like the last chance saloon.

Filthy. Needs shuting down for a deep clean and staff training. Saving grace was the good coffee. Outside bins overflowing toilets dirty, doors and surfaces need cleaning. In this climate especially cleanliness is essential. If this is whats on view to general public heaven help what is going on behind the scenes!!

It's a Starbucks! No frills, no disasters, no sweat. Called in for coffees and toasties and got what we expected. As with all Starby's it's a bit expensive, but good food, nice staff and clean surroundings almost make it value for money. Just off the A47 it's a good place to stop before hitting the tractor filled roads of Norfolk!

I just wanted a quiet pit stop for a cup of coffee but turned up when half the coffee shop was taken over by staff for a team meeting. This would have been fine if the manager had not had such a booming voice! Among other things she told the staff that they should not talk loudly on their phones 'about their sexual positions' as customers do not want to hear it...they sure don't!. After spotting a rat in the car park I mentioned it to the timid barista who didn't seem at all worried. I couldn't leave quick enough! The poor staff having to listen to such an awful woman...she doesn't know anything about customer service....

First of all some of these photos are of a completely different branch. I use this Starbucks as a halfway point to swap holidaying relatives. The menu is standard Starbucks/Subway. Cleanliness is weak. The toilets shared with Subway are never up to much, and tables take a while to be cleared. What really bothered me today though is that my baby niece is at the crawling stage and after two circuits she looked like she’d been up a chimney, she was absolutely black. Goodness knows when the floor was last properly swabbed!

Went into the Peterborough store today, got served by a very pleasant and helpful young lady, but unfortunately she got my order slighly wrong. Wow, the world fell in, some older lady (assume it was her supervisor) had a go at her in front of customers and was way OTT. You could see the young girl was upset. No idea whats going on, but that older women needs to be taught how to speak to staff and not to bully and intimidate them, Jesus, its going back to last century when bullying was rife in the work place. Won't be going back, nor will that young lady if she's got any sense. Because of the older womans attitude towards her staff, and not the young lady who served me, will give it a 1 for service.

Having been used to dropping in here over the years and choosing either Starbucks or subway for a quick takeaway snack there has been a change in recent months. Starbucks is accessed straight off the carpark and sells decent coffee along with some rather expensive prepackaged snacks. Nothing special. Subway is slightly cheaper but you would be forgiven if you’d thought it had closed down. The entrance is now hidden away behind a wall and you can no longer access it from the shared foyer.

I posted the following to Starbucks customer services! My wife and Daughter went into Starbucks next to the Shell garage near Wisbech on Friday 29th December just for a drink, and may I add driving past Worzals bar and restaurant for the choice of Starbucks. (MISTAKE) Only 3 people was in the queue at the counter including my wife so we went and sat down, ages later she was still waiting whilst the staff members were discussing their Xmas with each other and a member of the public she clearly knew, nearly 8 minutes later when she eventually got to be served she asked for "2 filter coffees please" then to be told, whilst the staff members continued to still talk to each other, "I’ll put a pot in you'll have to wait" so my wife paid and came to sit with us. 4 minutes later a voice SHOUTED "2 coffees" I said "was that meant for us" and proceeded to the end of the counter, I then asked to girl (Stacy) "are these coffees ours" didn't get a reply so I asked again "excuse me are these coffees ours" the reply, a real customer friendly person "yep" so I then asked "do you normally shout like that across the restaurant" reply was "well that’s the way we do it" so I then said "well as we waited for nearly 5 minutes to get these coffees do you not think, as nobody else is actually being served or waiting you might have just bought them across" reply " well that’s the way we do it" and then she walked away ? This is absolutely-shocking behaviour and although we only frequent this place occasionally I find the customer skills of your staff utterly disgraceful, and will have great pleasure in putting this experience on Social media and trip advisor. DOWNRIGHT DISGUSTED! I left it until now to see what response i received from Starbucks, and i got a reply. "so sorry for your experience, we have passed it on to the manager and we will send you complementary drink voucher" WOWWWW Um-mm NOT! - SORT IT OUT

Stopping here was perfect as there were no parking issues. The coffee was Ok, there is something in it that makes me feel nauseous. Hot choc next time. As it was lunch time I grabbed an egg and cress sandwich. The bread was light fluffy and crumbly. Sitting overlooking the car park its nice to watch what is going on. Toilets were OK nothing special.

On our way to the coast and this is about half way, so an ideal stopover for a leg stretch and a coffee break. On this occasion we had a coffee and a sausage cob it was excellent. No complaints, friendly staff with quick service and the cob was tasty with three decent chipolata style sausages. Staff were out keeping the area clean and tidy, as we left the commuters were coming in thick and fast. Great respite from the A47 keep it up.

This Starbucks is just of the A47 near Wisbech and is situated next to a service station. There is a large car park and a small grassed area to walk a dog so if your on a long journey it's a great location. Starbucks has some seating outside and supply water for dogs. The is room for caravans in the carpark as well. As per normal Starbucks good quality of coffee and snack foods are served in a well furnished large indoor area with plenty of seating. The staff are polite and helpful and have always made us feel welcome. The staff keep the place clean and tidy. There are toilets available, they have always been clean on our visits. As an added bonus there is a subway inside the Starbucks.

Starbucks USED TO BE the one place to go to grab a cup of whatever! But the last 8 times I have had nothing but disappointment... When ordering a SOYA I have to stand there and watch them like a hawk that they actually use soya, because numerous times I have witnessed staff use dairy and when they realize they messed up the order instead of making the drink again they try to disguise it as non dairy. I have witnessed dairy being mixed with soya, cream being put on top then them scraping it off with a spoon. Please NOTE!! This only happens with the new staff - most of the time the new trainees. The staff that have been there a long time do an amazing job at making drinks and advising about new non dairy flavours. Perhaps the training needs to be stricter on food allergies! Also not a fan of the new layout!

Finding myself with some time to spare before meeting my future son-in-law I decided to pop in for a coffee. House in a former bank, it looked just what I wanted.Inside was smaller than I imagined and rather dull.I ordered a coffee and was asked my name. I was told this was so my name could be called when the coffee was ready. I took a seat just feet from the counter and waited...and waited...and waited. I must have waited about 10 minutes. After several later customers had been served, I was about to ask what the delay was when the Batista asked me if I'd ordered. It seems my now cold coffee was sitting behind the counter. He apologised and made me another. Not sure why because the one he made wasn't particularly warm, just flavourless and (it being a cappuccino) was missing the chocolate sprinkles I rather expected. In all the whole experience topped with 'take it or leave it' service was not one to repeat. I've given it a rating only because a zero rating is not an option.

First visit to this Starbucks and what a disappointment. Im aware its situated in an old building but it literally looks like they've rented out the place, stuck tables and chairs in and said 'off you go', Tables and chairs are stuffed into all manner of spaces (some ridiculous) and you are literally seated next to strangers as you are so close. We found a seat in what looked exactly like a confession box and my daughter went up to order.Despite her being at the front of a 6 or 7 person queue, she remained there when they had all left. When she enquired as to her order she was told it must have been nicked! Didn't believe this as she had been stood at the collection point throughout! My hot chocolate was luke warm and nothing remarkable and my daughters shortbread was so bland she ended up leaving most of it. Horrible venue I have no plans to return to.

Wanted somewhere to sit outside and enjoy a coffee on a shopping trip to Peterborough. Doesn't rate as highly as Costa in my opinion and with such a small outside area people smoking spoilt it. I fully appreciate people are entitled to smoke outside but as a non smoker it would be nice to enjoy a coffee outdoors on a nice day without being subjected to other people's smoke billowing in my face!

They had to serve my drink in a paper cup because they had "ran out" of porcelain cups; however every single table was filled with used cups! Table tops were wet, sticky and floors were dirty. My wife and I took a couple of friends visiting from Australia for a coffee prior to a tour of Peterborough Cathedral.Although there were only a few people in the coffee shop the three members of staff appeared to be too busy chatting amongst themselves to bother clearing tables or serving customers. We had to wait several minutes before a member of staff acknowledged us as she was busy discussing some non work related issue with her colleague. The tables were cluttered with discarded cups, rubbish and spilt drinks. We eventually found a table that was clean enough to put our coffee cups on.The one toilet was in a disgusting state and had not been cleaned for several hours, it made me feel a little nauseous to say the least. This was my first and last visit to this establishment and would be surprised if this place had many returning customers. We live locally and so decided to pop in on the spur of the moment. I'm not a lover of catering coffee, whether it be Starbucks, Costa or any of the other chains but my wife is not so fussy. I ordered a hot chocolate and a cappuccino for my wife. Starbucks has this pretentious name system for sizes but I have ignored that in the past on the few times we have ever gone to a Starbucks. I always say "small". Apparently "small" is "Tall"!!!The prices were exorbitant. £2.90 for a "small"cup of chocolate and £2.45 for a "small" coffee. When I asked why the prices were so dear I was told that this particular Starbucks is classified as a Motorway Services as it is on the A47 - That of course is complete nonsense and just another example of Starbucks greed. The Hot chocolate was served in a mug as was the coffee. Starbucks do not give spoons or saucers. The mugs had some of the liquid smeared on the sides making it look as though you were buying a drink in a used mug.I am no fan of Costa but the day before we had purchased the self same items in a Costa branch in Wisbech. The coffee was served in a proper cup with a saucer and a sensible spoon for scooping up the froth. The hot chocolate was served in a glass again with a saucer and a long spoon and it looked good as well and it was the correct temperature. My chocolate in Starbucks was lukewarm and the taste was a little powdery. After the tax debacle why do British punters still frequent this sloppy and greedy firm?

On a cold afternoon we decided to stop off for a coffee and a hot chocolate. My husband ordered the drinks we were swift, but as we was going to drink in the member of staff did not state which one was which. This was especially hard to tell as they both had loads of cream. The Hot chocolate was lovely, the coffee though was very strange with cream on top?? the seating area is very cramped and it felt like you was sitting in the way definitely not much space for pushchair, it was especially hard to put shopping bags down. When we was drinking, they were filling up the food shelves from behind and one of the members of staff dropped one of the items on to the floor and did not pick it up, another customer did. Luckily it was all wrapped up. I used the bathroom and there was no useable toilet roll and it did not feel clean. Also the door is very heavy to open.
