The best restaurants in St Ives South Huntingdonshire East of England

Went for work Christmas dinner. It was patchy, some good some not so. A bit unorganised, we didn’t know where we could go to get a drink and the food came out sporadically. Most of the food was good but some got a huge piece of cake and others got a tiny piece of Christmas pud.

I ordered from here tonight and I can honestly say that was the best curry I’ve had in a while! Great customer service and the best curry in st Ives

Worst chips I've have had in more than 5 years on St Ives . Threw most of them in the bin.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would, I ordered a full vegetarian meal, as I was eating my samosas one was fine, as I bite into the second I realised it had meat in and it made me physically I’ll, So I decided to drive to the actual place only to be met with RUDE and DISGUSTING behaviour, I was told it’s my fault as I was eating the samosa wrong and I would have known that one of the samosas had meat in it I had pulled it apart! I would never usually leave a bad review but I understand mistakes can happen but this isn’t just a small mistake! No attempt to even apologise.

After its closure in August 2024, I'm pleased to see this great pub open again. (Re-opened on Good Friday 2025, according to the local press.) No food yet, but looking forward to eating here once the kitchen re-opens. No Guinness; the draught lager is Estrella.

A nice pub and friendly atmosphere.

Friendly staff but management is clearly extremely disorganised as well as stand-offish and unfriendly. Rude to their own overworked young staff members leaving them with everything to do while they themselves do nothing.

Lovely little public house, and relaxing atmosphere. Came here for a few drinks with friends and all had a lovely time

Dropped in for a takeaway last night. Wow, probably the best Tikka I've ever had. The little side additions of salad and dressing really went well too. Excellent work!

I ordered a meal through the website on Monday which never arrived, contacted them Tuesday the manager refuses to refund my money and got every rude and hung up on me.

Kebab taste like it been cooked days before and covered in mint sauce and pizza greasy and can still taste the grease next day ....this place has gone down a lot in a few months ...have it been taken over by untrained cooks Blind man could have cooked better Next time I just eat my dogs food as probably taste 1000 times better

Nice hotel in a good location and a great breakfast. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Lovely food but really really slow service. We had to ask for drinks and for each course. It was 2 hours before we got our main courses. And it was so cold in there. I asked them to turn the heating on / up twice.
