Salt N Spice in Huntingdonshire

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would, I ordered a full vegetarian meal, as I was eating my samosas one was fine, as I bite into the second I realised it had meat in and it made me physically I’ll, So I decided to drive to the actual place only to be met with RUDE and DISGUSTING behaviour, I was told it’s my fault as I was eating the samosa wrong and I would have known that one of the samosas had meat in it I had pulled it apart! I would never usually leave a bad review but I understand mistakes can happen but this isn’t just a small mistake! No attempt to even apologise.

This is a great little takeaway ..very quick friendly service ,competitive prices and most importantly very fast food ..The chicken Vindaloo was excellent .

This was a surprisingly good takeaway from Salt N Spice coming in at a fairly low price too. The portions definitely taste better than they look but it has to be said the vegetarian pathia was good despite lacking the required chilli punch. The onion bhajis carried a little grease to them but the pick of the bunch was definitely the Bombay potatoes. A big fan of these. Delivery was included in a minimal service charge and took approximately thirty minutes to arrive after placing the order.

Ordered take away delivery for family tonight via Just Eat, easy to order from a great menu, varied and different. Arrives almost exactly on time, driver did the correct social distancing measures, polite and efficient. Then there was the food. Probably the best tasting curry I have had for a while! Very flavoursome, nicely cooked and fresh. This looks like being our go to curry place from now on.

Fantastic food and delivery was early. All food was piping hot and very very tasty. Easy menu on just eat to navigate. Would definitely recommend.

No naan delivered with the mushroom balti which they argued was because it was not on the menu. Balti was basically a thick curry gravy, bombay aloo was potatoes in a juice, chicken tikka masala was a psychedelic sludge with tough chicken, not much chicken on the tandoori breast. Poppadoms were OK. Bland lamb biryani. Cost £40 for 4 meals. Nice curries in the past but won't go back.

Always consistently good food - Staff very friendly - Will always recommend and look forward to the next curry :)

Since most of the curry houses have closed down in Huntingdon we’ve been ordering around finding one somewhere we like, well we’ve finally found the place! We’ve order at other places and they’ve been awful with terrible customer service too and way overpriced. This place was an amazing curry and a very good price! We shall definitely be returning for the future curry’s we order, may even be having them more often now! Delivery price could come down a little though.

We were staying in a hotel in the area over NYE and decided to order from this place as it's had such good reviews on a takeaway site. Couldn't be more disappointed - wrong dishes delivered, called up to complain with no apologies but hey did bring a new dish out - I'm a veggie, asked for paneer but my masala had a piece of chicken in there, lovely! Spend your money elsewhere.

Probably the best Indian food takeaway in St Ives. Ordered a meal for 4 over the phone for collection and it was ready in the time they said. Excellent quality food, full of flavour and piping hot. Was looking forward to a curry and the chicken tikka bhuna did not disappoint - excellent sized portions and enough left for lunch the next day ! Salt n Spice is definitely our takeaway of choice now.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Pathia - i usually have a vindaloo or a phaal but wanted something different - wasn't disappointed.

Food is tasy and good quality. Delivery is ok. However delivery times and food temperature can be unreliable so be prepared to wait and reheat in microwave.

Family takeaway meal from here last Saturday, a bit slow coming, but lovely fresh and hot when it arrived. Look out for the jalfrezi, it took my head off!

Having moored our boat near by we decided to go and order a takeaway from here and we wasn't disappointed. We ordered through just eat quick order only waited 20 minutes for food went up and collect if we had rang through the order direct we could of saved 10% on the order but that didn't matter. When we got back great portion sizes we both had to leave a little bit of our main as we were full. Will be visiting again.

We had heard good things about this place from a couple of people so we thought we would give it a go. Its safe to say that this will be our new go to place for a takeaway curry. Massive portions, amazing flavours, melt in the mouth chicken and very quick delivery!!!!
