The best restaurants in St Ives South Huntingdonshire East of England

Friendly staff. No table service. Spraying tables whilst eating. Food was VERY good! Floors were dirty throughout. Really Did NOT like the amount of dogs inside when serving food. Staff were fussing over dogs then entering kitchen/bar which is NOT hygienic. They should at least have a separate area for dogs instead of letting them everywhere. Not sure I would go again tbh.

Had a lovely meal here, excellent value for money, very clean premises with a relaxed atmosphere, will visit again on my next visit to St Ives!

This café used to serve amazingly good food but now only seems to sell cakes and pre-packed sandwiches which you can get from anywhere what's happened?

Ate here with the family and I have to say the food was, very, very good. The staff were extremely friendly and made the evening. Considering the low price the quality of food was excellent. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend visiting here.

I have used this coffee shop a few times recently and it seems to get better each time. I first called in for a coffee and ended up trying a chimney cake and it's now my go to they are delicious, I have mine with Nutella and ice cream. The toasties are a perfect afternoon snack and very filling The staff are all friendly especially the owner she's always so happy and pleased to have a chat. I also got to meet her daughter who the shop is named after she's a right little character. I was pleased to see they are dog friendly and stock doggy ice cream This is now my.go to coffee spot in st ives and would recommend it to anyone

Just arrived back home from a reunion club meal for I would estimate 30 people (give or take) outstanding food and service, exceptional wine. We had a slow cooked lamb which was delicious. Just outstanding thank you xxx

Curiously The River Terrace used to be one of the good reasons for visiting St Ives. Sadly gone down hill since apparent change of ownership? Odd opening times, and a limited and much less inviting menu, with a curious bias towards vegan, and gluten free. Nothing wrong with that but most lunch dishes appear to evolve around bacon and eggs.

Great little Waitrose the bonus day to go in Sunday as it’s not as busy and free parking only on Sunday.

On Monday, January 20th, around 12 PM, I purchased a medium coffee here for £3.90. I handed £5 to the lady at the register, but she did not give me my change. When I pointed this out, she responded in a dismissive manner, insisting that she had already given me the money, and then turned her back on me. While £1 is not a significant amount, her attitude was entirely inappropriate. I hope you will address this behavior with her.

Caters for all. Football is always down, does food and had a karaoke on when I last went. Great stop half way home on a night out in town

The new owner has let this restaurant down massively. Pizza is not the same as before. Wouldn’t recommend ordering here again, overpriced and undercooked. Manager very unhelpful and condescending. Bring back the old owners please!

Visited while staying in St.Ives, great bar, watched the rugby. Lovely garden and view of the river in the summer.

We have used Montaz for a few years and usually very good Tonights order however wasn’t up to usual standards . The madras was creamy and clearly had the wrong base . The chicken to dry and tough in the 4 chicken dishes. There are many cooking methods to avoid this . Please be careful as you have a good reputation , however with tough chicken like this is doesn’t take long to ruin a great reputation as there is much choice in st ives for curry

Went for work Christmas dinner. It was patchy, some good some not so. A bit unorganised, we didn’t know where we could go to get a drink and the food came out sporadically. Most of the food was good but some got a huge piece of cake and others got a tiny piece of Christmas pud.
