Great little Waitrose the bonus day to go in Sunday as it’s not as busy and free parking only on Sunday.

Really nice shopping atmosphere, very helpful staff who take you to the item you can't find, all round enjoyable shopping experience

Ideal for top-up shopping or specific items. Expensive for a main shop, and the choice is limited.

A superb branch of Waitrose. There was an amazing selection of goods, fruit and vegetables. The staff were delightful. I will certainly visit again.

I have found it rather impressive how the store has improved after its refit especially leading up to the festive season and during. The store is always well stocked and usually someone is around to help you with any of your needs and if something isn’t on the shelf they can either provide you with an alternative or they can give you an idea of when it will be back in stock. I wish them the best for 2025.

Still a more expensive supermarket tan average, but 90% of there own products are quality.

Not enough space in the shop at busy times.

Not my normal supermarket, so love going here as a treat. They have Cowshed products, which make nice little presents.

Great store. Everything you could possibly need and more. Great food choices. Just would have liked a cafe and toilets.

Some good products here, small gluten free section could be better. Good selection of beers, wine, spirits. Self service check out option aid speedy exit. Expensive if you're doing a weekly shop. Update: shop has had a refit with added fresh sushi bar which is tasty.

first to let you know that I worked for Waitrose in Putney Bridge in London in 96/98 I am using Waitrose in Cambridge and now Newmarket, so I do know a lot as customer regarding not only Waitrose but most the big chains in the retailing . Yesterday 15 October 2024 at 10.30 am I was at Waitrose in St Ives (Cambridgeshire) here the main points Untidy with empty shelves and not facing up Bakery for fresh bread not available for issues Reduced food for expiring date nearly expensive as normal price I wanted to pay by cash and cahier not available if I needed the colleague it would call for me I asked to speak with the manager and I described the St Ives Waitrose a disaster in the poor system not equal to the standard of others Waitrose Worse than this you could not reach James

Not the most spacious or well designed Waitrose store but easy parking outside the door and large product range. Good position off town centre.Just refurbished.

Today we Parked at waitrose to do some top up shopping we were literally there for 50 mins & someone with a redish car scraped our car all on the side. We were disappointed that the cameras was not on... however, Harvey was fantastic and he tried to help as much as he could & he went and called james. Harvey was very responsible & concerned as well as king & helpful. He also suggested that we also check with the library, we hope the person responsible is found but falling that our life is much richer that we met a person like Harvey . Young, kind, caring & responsible.

Staff is very helpful, but the shop is pretty small.

replaced most checkouts with self-checkouts. less human jobs, more robots!

My 94 year old father who is almost totally blind uses this store every week. He always says how kind the staff are, helping him to do his shopping, but, today, the young lady went above and beyond! She assisted him with his shopping, put it through the till and then walked him to the bus stop with an umbrella as it was raining heavily. As I live in Dorset it means a lot to know people are helping him to live independently for as long as possible. Thank you Waitrose! Customer service at its best.

Life saver. So many items. A bit pricey but if you use the waitrose card you will get regular discounts.

Last month I bought one bag of the 4triple Belgian chocolate cookies - were delicious, the best cookies I ever had, yesterday went there and bought two bags of these cookies, very very disappointed (hard as a rock), I came specially for them, I will never buy them again, such a shame 😭

No 1kg bags of Cadbury Mini Eggs! If you are fat and need your fix, finding an empty shelf is not the one. Don't make these so elite that they are like the unicorn of chocolate.

Most of the times I'm not happy with the staff members, however Fiona at the self service check out was very kind few days ago, and appreciated her great customer service. The quality of the items in Waitrose is great as always, I buy meat, vegetables, etc. only from them.

Bought some pistachios in mid January, opened a week later and after eating some, bit into one that was badly off. It tasted bitter and acidic, likely rotten or infested. I emailed customer service with all relevant details, and they have since done nothing aside from log the incident. I am surprised at how poor not only the quality is, but also how poor customer services are. Disgusting.

never ever in my life, I experienced so professional customer service. Very young man @ meet counter was so professional that it took my shoes off!!!!

A warm and friendly little branch with convenient parking.

Very clean store, but was surprised to have to pay to park in a supermarket car park.

Not the best, opens way past 8.00. Staff sees customers as a big disturbance.

Picked up some great bargains in the reduced aisle.

Did you know that dom off the chris moyles breakfast show on radio X once work in this shop!!... And he constantly goes on about it on the show.

Was told a new till would be opened but no-one came for a few minutes, so when we were served they comp'd us a bottle of wine. Result!

Very close to home so no heaving shopping around. Do regular shop and house bits as well. Staff are helpful and friendly. Only wish they did more English meats!

Good little waitrose store with good parking, atm and self service checkouts (card only) never feels too busy Lovely deli, fish and meats Often have good reductions on the fish counter in the evenings , so good for grabbing some bargain supper items If I have one negative point its wifi/network signal - with most people having an phone app to use alongside the shopping, it is almost impossible to activate your Waitrose card / money off vouchers in store as there is no signal, same for launching Google pay - I have to do this in the carpark before entering

Awful experience. Store is old and outdated. Staff using inappropriate comments during my checkout experience.

Pricy but good quality and service

Poor range, parking arrangements not very good, have to pay to park then claim it back in store, not ideal.

Always a good selection of delicious food if your looking for something special or just the basics. Good Christmas selection of you want something special.

Great supermarket, lots of unusual bits that you don’t find in other supermarkets.

The range of goods stocked by Waitrose seems to be reducing. I've noticed the quality of the baked goods has declined and the staff don't seem as aware of customers add they did a few years ago. Not as pleasant a shopping experience as it used to be.

Free coffee back and enjoyed for first time since covid. Pity they stopped free newspapers. No sugared almonds in yet.

Great products and a wide variety of products to suit all budgets. Lovely fresh vegetables and bakery along with the deli counter and confectionary. Lovely staff always friendly and smiley.

I recommend the fresh Scottish salmon from behind the counter. After baking, you'll lick your fingers! On Fridays at a promotional price of -20%. Thank you for the nice service, always with a smile 😊

In mobility scooter. Partners could not be more pleasant and helpful. Nothing is too much bother. It is always clean. Fab range of products. Fresh produce always perfect. Love trying the recipes. Advice on products always on hand. Very competitive prices and best quality. P.S. before I was incapacitated the partners were the same. Very much appreciated. Thanks Waitrose.

Staff really really friendly...

I was looking for dried ancho chillis for a weird recipe i was trying. Only waitrose had them... it seems good for this sort of stuff.

Found what I went in for, clean, tidy and polite staff

Food was really good today for a change Service is never great here and today was no exception

Really helpful member of staff called Alex offered us his help to us in finding the yogurts we were looking for, and even went to the store room to search them out. More staff like Alex please!

Excellent service today picking up my Christmas meat and other groceries

Meat selection was poor, but it was Sunday afternoon. What was left, was too expensive. Shop was clean and not too crowded. Polite staff.

Visiting family but popped in here for a few supplies as we were self-catering. Good little shop that sold a few items we'd not seen in our local Waitrose in the West.

Excellent large car park adjacent to store. Well stocked shelves and not at all busy. Impressive meat and fish counters with helpful 'butcher'. A good shopping experience.

Didn't buy anything, bit it was alright

Very odd store. It was very cramped so not great when busy. The shelves were also very empty, only came out with 1 of 5 items I intended to purchase. You also have to pay for parking even if doing a click and collect.

First class got all I needed allow can see shortages starting to occur

Parking was free although car parking was a little confusing at times. The building was clean and as staff were closing down the butchery and fishmonger depth. Shelves weren't badly stocked for close of day. Biggest problem only 2 staff on tills and still some of us prefer the human touch. Not too big a problem but could be with more people. Staff polite and friendly.

Great snacks, sandwiches and produce which fuelled us for the long drive home

I consider them the best. Spotlessly clean Deli counter with well stocked shelves throughout the store. Friendly & professional staff too.

The store was nicely laid out and a good range of products in each isle. I when I got to the water isle I asked an employee if they had anymore of the water that I was looking and I got rudely shot down and they walked away as if I wasn’t important enough. Don’t judge customers the way they are dressed either we all work at some point in the day and some of us don’t wear suits.

Excellent to have a Waitrose in St Ives. Perfect location and great to be able to collect John Lewis parcels from here. Only downside is the pay and display car park

Staff exceptionally helpful and following all guidelines

Really disorganised, long queues to get in and a seemingly random entry process policed by people with no clue of what to do. Once you finally get in it really doesn't improve much, sparse shelves and moody sellers more interested in discussing their personal conquests and how bad the job is with other colleagues than at least pretending to be interested in doing what they are lucky to be employed to do.

Typical Waitrose, good selection of products. Good carpark but you have to pay, cashback at till after purchase. If you are sightseeing in St Ives the best bet is the Park and Ride about 5 mins walk. This is free for 18 hours.
