Very comfortable place with decent people and great food in Stacked and Loaded

Basically it's a sports pub. Several TV screens (showing different sports) and a pool table. Price of a pint is reasonable too. Well worth a visit

Nightmare trying to order food, fidntvrnd up with anything, can't order at the bat. Full of youngsters, didn't feel comfortable not a place to take the family

The Old Sun ticks a lot of boxes for me. Clean Bar & taps, check Clean toilets, check Friendly staff and patrons, check. Trendy Ales with Neck Oil on tap, check. The building has character, check! (low beams in some areas- be warned) A well-kept pool table, check. Lots of TVs for sport, check And a needy retriever with a lovely temperament to win our bonus round. Great pub 👍

My friend and I visited this pub for the first time today, 4 * as I don't know it well enough yet. Nice vibe, friendly and clean. 2 large red wines £10 which is cheaper than some. Sports on for the men. We will return and we do recommend this pub. (No food).

A little busy because of the Wales game but well laid out inline with Social Distanacing with most people wearing masks when visiting the toilets.

The old sun is a great place. Good beer but mind your head when you go in as the ceilings are very low! Go in after a couple of beers and you are guaranteed to bash your head.

Old style and traditional pub at the front with a new dining room added at the back. Friendly service from the staff. We had Saturday lunch in the bar area: frozen scampi, frozen chips, frozen peas and tartare from a jar. What can I say?! Pub Grub circa 1975. Sunday lunch is apparently much better.

Brilliant proper pub, footy on telly, darts, pool, music, great pizza/burgers, Eaton Socon resident for 20 years and its the best local pub by far - enjoy!!!
