The staff are helpful and pleasant. Everything was clean and tidy. Costa itself has however snuck in 2 recent price increases

The most atrocious service that I have ever received in a Costa. I waited an eternity to even be acknowledged, the two employees that were behind the counter completely ignored me and the third, who was restocking food items finally came to take my order. I was told to sit down and I would be called when it was ready. We, waited and waited and waited and watched other people's orders be served before ours (even though they were behind us on the queue) until I approached the counter again to ask how much longer this would be for my 4 drinks? Only two were ready I received an abrupt rude response by one whilst the other placed the third drink on the tray. I was told the fourth would be bought over, The order was not difficult. It was a Latte, an American, a Frappe and a Smoothie. The floor was disgusting, crumbs and bits everywhere, the food display cabinets also were grubby with finger marks. Will not be returning.

Too many dirty tables for me, but I enjoyed my latte and company 😌 plus the parking right outside is a big bonus 🙌

Staff refused to serve hot food even with 40mins to closing. This is not advertised in store or on app. When complained they laughed at me. Definitely avoid!

ordered a takeaway from here only one toastie of the 2 came and it was freezing and can't contact as there's no contact number just goes through to subway

Our groups order was forgotten about until we went up to speak to the person behind the desk, they informed us that our order had been misplaced and they will bring it over shortly. This was after waiting for 20 m in minutes

The food, coffee, interior and staff are all good. The only problem I see is quite loud music. Most people here are for relaxing, talking and maybe a bit of work, but the music is like in gym or night club (well not that loud-:)

Always use the drive through here, can be very hit and miss with getting orders correct. Drive through moves quickly so you’re never stuck for long. Always busy first thing but dies down after about 10. Plenty of free parking outside and lots of newly installed electric car chargers.

Use this branch probably a lot more than we should. So much so some of the staff members know what our 'regular' drinks are 🫣🤣. Really polite, professional and efficient at what they do - even when super busy. I can't really say much more than that, a really good experience every time. 👍

Excellent venue for catch up with friends. Relaxed atmosphere no pressure to vacate. Friendly staff. Clean premises. Definitely visit again.

Went through drive thru at 6.50 (10 mins before they shut ) and said they were closing so couldn’t serve even though the board says they shut at 7pm

4 people in front with trays my sausage bab was heated up and then left to go cold I had to wait 10 minutes for coffee was told it would be brought over but it wasn't. Something very wrong with the service

One of best Costa for service. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Really apologetic if haven't got something (run out of a syrup I like). Service is efficient and with a smile.

Got to say Sofie who I assume was in charge this morning was brilliant. Considering I know a customer this morning had been extremely rude to her which is totally uncalled for sofie managed to give me smile 😃 😊

Was fairly busy, but there was no queue when I entered, a short wait to be served, and then it was service with a smile all the way.

A great location to meet friends for coffee. The range of drinks and food are always normally available. Drinks are hot. Food is nice. Staff are great.

Not only had to wait about 15 mins on drive thru (just 3 cars in front of me), the almond croissant was very cold and chewy (it certainly was not baked today/yesterday). Very disappointed

This is a nice Costa I frequent, but 50% of empty tables covered in abandoned trays, for the second time this week, with no one clearing despite 4 or 5 staff on duty. Looks poor and lazy in a place designed to serve £3.80 coffees!

Slowest costa I have ever seen Left only 5 starts - because I was just hungry and this lemon cake was tasty…. So if you have 2/3 hours spare in your life and don’t know what to do - than yes , this place takes your time and you’ll maybe get some coffee x

I aways like coming here but on this particular day there weren't many staff, and most of the tables had not been cleared but on saying that I will always go in there!

Always out of products. Can’t produce the most simple of items. They have been out of stock of products for nearly 2 months now. They burn the coffee most times too.

The cakes have flies all over them. The cabinet does not have a cover on it. It is quite disgraceful that a company like this has such poor hygiene standards.

I find it unfathomable how Costa consistently takes all of the joy out of cakes and pastries. They are without exception disappointing. Some are average and could be better, others, like my cinnamon bun this morning are downright unpleasant. To say that is was drier than the Sahara is an understatement, such was it's capacity to absorb any fluid it came into contact with it could easily have been used for flood defense. It lacked flavour and the icing had a weird texture that coated the mouth as if I'd taken a gulp of oil. A cinnamon bun should be moist and chewy with a strong cinnamon flavour and lashings of icing. This was none of these. Coffee was ok though hence 2 stars.

Arrived yesterday afternoon, despite Noticing that the Que was insignificant once I’d ordered I waited 19 mins to receive my order. Despite being very obviously disabled I received a shout to collect my order only after TWICE having to return to the counter. My coffee as ordered was a wet skinny extra hot. What I received was tepid. As someone who uses the App, feels locality and loyal to the local branch are important I left feeling the whole experience was not one I wish to repeat. In todays climate of struggling retail and appropriate foot fall I can’t say anything other than the whole experience was not what one expects. It’ll be sometime before I revisit this franchise as it certainly needs better staff training both at the front and rear or shop. Bitterly disappointed. My review will be pinned to several social media sites.

This is a great coffee shop that has locations across England we've stopped into a few and we needed a quick bite or just a really good cup of coffee. Service is always fast and friendly

We fancied going back to Costa for Breakfast after the lockdowns! we normally enjoy a crisp-well toasted Brown Bread with Marmalade and Marmite (separate of course!) Our experience of this new store wasnt that good! and my Toast wasnt cooked very well even after a return to the toaster. Front of house- Tables were slow to be cleared. otherwise well set out, covid separation good. priority was to the Drive Thru part of the business. i was literally ignored for at least 5 minutes, as a queue buit up. Behind the counter- Staff were busy, NO face coverings were apparent (found that odd in a customer facing Food environment!) 1 Gent was casually leaning chatting to staff whilst drinking a Coffee (no uniform) Later on a HGV (Cement Mixer)driver visited took up all the numbered spaces at the front cae park. he went in the queue, but then decided it would be quicker going around the back to join the other gent!

Cleaning needs to be a lot better so many flys

I asked for my coffee to be made a certain way and every other Costa I go makes it perfect, this one the attitude of worker was horrible when I told him it was not made right he said that it is fine and will not remake it , I won't be going there again

I visited this Costa coffee for the first time and I will be visiting again ,the staff are friendly and cheerful and the cappuccino coffee I did enjoy, I will be visiting again.

After having a baby Costa is my lifeline right now! Have to say by far the coffee here is better then other costas I've been to. Little slow but its to be expected as its made to order

Disappointing visit. My issues are not the staffs fault, but it did still mar my experience to the point I will not return to this branch until the world is back to normal. The vegan panini I ordered was delicious and I would have it again I was informed I was unable to use reusable cups but was still able to receive a discount. Frankly, I don't use my cup for a discount, more to reduce plastic, but it was a kind offer. I was informed they are recyclable products. I understand we are in a pandemic and the reasoning behind it, but I have been to numerous coffee shops - independent and chains (cough, Starbucks) - and these all allow me to use my reusable cup. If Costa is concerned about cross-contamination, a little research and innovation could be useful. For example, competitors allow you to place your cup into one of their washable mugs so staff-members do not have to touch the offending item. Voila, staff safe, environmental win! Finally, there were technical issues with the staff-members headset. This was not their fault, but was annoying for both them and myself.

I queued up in the car on a very busy Sunday lunchtime and have to say the staff were in really good spirits, very polite and friendly, a credit to the company

Always incredibly slow. They have reduced staff due to coronavorus but if using the drivethrough, expect to queue or wait a while if there are people in front of you (I waited 20 mins, with 2 cars in front of me), I've been multiple times and it's always the same. You have to wait a long time to order your drink and then a long time to pay and collect your order. I've been to other coffee drive throughs throughout the pandemic that have been slick and efficient, this one isn't. Great coffee of you wait for it.

Shocking experience (would have been a minus rating ), walked in to be told not taking orders unless its through their app, understand the reasoning but could have a sign up at the door , or at least have some manners when telling a customer how they are taking orders now , felt talked down to .

I realy am not the one to put bad reviews but in this occasion I have to. It's not the first time I've been trying to get coffee in this location and it's the slowest ever service. This time I didn't use the drive through as the queue was too long and wasn't moving. I ordered on the app and sat for 30 minutes outside watching the slowest ever person making coffees. Sometimes when you're busy and you have a queue of customers you just have to work that little extra faster in afraid! That's how life is. At least try please.

Went round the drive thru which was fast and efficient. Ordered the new christmas hot chocolates which came with a little chocolate on top. They were delicious!! Also got a puppuccino which comes with a couple of biscuits too - my dog loved it!

Staff very unfriendly ordered 2 lattes and a toasted tea cake which was cold so left that. Tables were dirty and lots of trays on tables and it was dead so no excuse as to way they was not cleared away. Dont think i would go again.

This location always has the aircon blowing at max. If you like to be frozen on a warm day this is the place for you. However, if you like air con which cools you but doesn't blow you away you can either sit outside, like a lot of people do (even those who are not smoking) or you can go elsewhere. The drive-thru is also an option. We like to go because the staff are friendly and we sit outside because we always forget to bring a jumper.

Clean and very well stocked. Couldn't fault the girl working there who was on her own and very friendly. Quick service and good coffee.

This is a new Costa, it only opened a couple of months ago. it's never been busy when I've been in there, so I've never had to queue which is great. The staff are all really friendly, and the coffee shop itself has plenty of room, and plenty of seating. There is also a drive-thru window so you don't even need to get out of your car if you don't want to.

Coffee ok, although waited 15 mins for it with only one customer in front of me. Ordered toast which was only toasted on one side, when I took it back and pointed it out I was told I should have asked for it to be toasted both sides! Why would I want only one side toasted?!! I didn't know you could get a toaster that only toasts one side of your bread, I've learnt something.

Has a Drive Thru if you want coffee on the way to work and it and the store is open later than the high street stores - until 9pm in the week and 8pm at weekends. First opened on Valentine's Day 2019. Free parking.
