You know what you're getting with Costa, good enough coffee and fresh food too, it can get way too busy sometimes but thats a sign of a good business. Some buffoon keeps moving the maps pin to Globe Place Car Park, I keep correcting it but someone keeps moving it back, for anyone visiting who is striggling to find it, it's in Crown St down past Lloyds Bank, west end of the Market Place.

Had toast, honey and a latte the same thing I have in every Costa. I was charged 30p more here than other Costas, I queried the cost but the staff member was dismissive. I queried it with Costa head office and got a dismissive email back. I would check the prices at this store before you order.

A senior citizen I was accompanying to an eye test in Spec Savers had an unfortunate accident and the staff in Costa were extremely helpful and kind unlike the frosty response from the staff in Specsavers who claimed there were no toilet facilities to use.

It's nice, the baristas make nice coffee but it's a little cluttered at times and sometimes they block off a whole seating area for seemingly no reason.

Small, bizarre set up of seating. Felt very squashed and not very private tables. Probably best for just take out drinks and food

Friendly and clean. Good situation just a stone's throw away from the historic bridge and chapel. 2022, and it is just as helpful and clean, with lots of non dairy alternatives for the drinks. One of the toilets is accessible and has baby changing facility.

I'm sorry I wouldn't normally post anything negative but this was a bit much. The fork in the first picture is how it arrived, come on, you can't miss them lumps of old food! You can't always trust the dishwasher, please check before serving! The second picture is my friend's latte, it arrived with a sticky brown fingerprint on it. The third picture is what made me post this as at first I thought the boys were just having a long day but that chair just says that the place is not being cleaned properly, there are dirty marks on walls too. I mean no offence, this would be a lovely little cafe, it's just a shame that the poor hygiene is letting it down.

First visit for months, courtesy of Covid. Only one girl serving, but she did a brilliant job dealing with customer orders and clearing/disinfecting tables for them to sit at as she went along. All this while maintaining a pleasant, welcoming manner for Costa customers. She was worth her weight in gold, and I would employ her in a heartbeat. My only regrets, a) I didn't make a note of her name, and b) I didn't think to ask if she'd be interested in working for us

Went on bank holiday monday. Lots of safe distancing seating available. As always coffee and lemon muffin were delicious. Staff very helpful.

Disgusting discriminatory staff, who bully mask exempt people and rudely tell them to leave the shop. We will be taking this further. They clearly do not get trained on how to treat customers. Will never be back again and will complain to the head office.

I had a Americano coffee which was very nice also you can taste the coffee too don't use Costa coffee much but my friend does .

This is Costa. It's the same everywhere. Nice place, good staff and you know what you're getting, so it deserves 4 stars. BUT.... wouldn't it be nice to support a locally owned coffee shop like Tom's or River Terrace??

Had a great customer service experience today. The gentleman that made my drink was fantastic, even advised me on what drink to have as I said I wanted a strong coffee. Also, thank you Costa in general for not charging extra for non dairy milks. My lactose intolerance had put me off going to coffee shops that charged extra for non dairy milks, so I had stopped going to Costa for a few years, now I am going almost everyday.

Falling behind a lot of the other Costa coffee shops around the area. Limited vegan food offerings compared to other stores. Staff are friendly, but looks drab and out dated to be honest. In need of some store TLC.

Coffee was fine and the server was friendly, but there were staff standing around chatting whilst tables went uncleared.

Usual Costa range of drinks and snacks, nothing special. Had to have a takeaway as dogs not allowed in and no outdoor seating. Costa really needs to sort out the dog issue, some let them in, others don't, not impressed!!

Consistently good chain brand coffee shop. Friendly service and plenty of seating. I did find it odd that I had to ask for a napkin as none were out at the table or work the sugar. Parking is limited but easy handicapped access through out the shop.

Pretty slow service here. There seemed to be a lot of people behind the counter not doing much...

Friendly staff. Noisy and cramped. OK food. Also the second tray was messy, not so clean cutlery.

Had a nice hot chocolate, staff was helpful enough but I noticed they were using the same cloth to clean the steamers and wipe the worktop!!! 😑

Great staff and coffee. But when sitting in need to stop with the plastic cups, lids and straws. Spoils the experience and just adds to the plastic waste mountain.

Not get my receipt so not sure my points was added because he took my Clubcard after transaction .But instead get old pound coin and fake 10 p coin that I realise in other shop went in to and had to pay.

Can get busy at times but that's because the service is quick and friendly. Made a nice coffee, fairly standard for a Costa but well worth popping in if you fancy a cuppa.

It's a Costa Coffee, pretty much all the same whichever one you go in to. The staff here are always friendly though, which is why I go in from time to time.
