Pizza desperately needed seasoning. Very plain. A little garlic salt and basil would have made a big difference. Cut the olives too. I have never seen whole olives on the pizza before. I wouldn't recommend this pizza place.

This really is a hidden gem - amazing authentic pizza, fantastic service and clean and pleasant facilities. Ignore the big pizza chains and order from Pizza Town, you won’t be disappointed

Pizza Town has now returned to its former glory 🤩 Flavour on top & crispy on the bottom 🍕 Don’t hesitate to get your order in for takeaway, I must add that the restaurant itself is extremely clean and most certainly looks like it’s worth dining in too 👨‍🍳 I wish the new team all the best on their venture it’s great to see them getting a town favourite back up and running in great form 👏

Had a great family birthday meal at Pizza Town this evening (early). The pizzas were fabulous, partnered with curly fries and garlic bread. Service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant deserves to be much busier! Come on St Iver’s - support your local restaurants!

Wow it's knowherem near as good as it used to be. I ordered the hot stuff pizza and it was bland with no heat and the taste of the sauce was like they had layered it with passata. No flavour at all. The last time I ordered from here was just before we left St Ives back in 2020. The pizza was perfect back then. I have no idea why the new owners have changed the recipe. No longer rated the best in St Ives in my opinion. Won't be ordering from them again. Bring back the original owners.

We have very regularly enjoyed Pizza Town Pizza's rating them well above every other Pizza company in St Ives. However, we understand that management has changed. Our last order was incorrect, late and not up to the usual standard. Jalapeño chillies were totally heatless, the deep pan was in no way deep pan, the size of the medium was less than we have been used too, cans of drink, which we confirmed at the time of order, did not arrive and now they have cancelled potato wedges. It did taste ok, but just not the excellence we have experienced for so long. Very disappointed, we have given our loyalty to the brand for so long, we feel let down and doubt we will order again.

Pizza Town does the best by far pizza in the area. I usually get it delivered and it always hot and always delicious. Easy to order online and the drivers are always friendly. 100% recommend!

Half term and my girls requested a pizza… have been to Pizza Town a few times and tonight was no exception. Ordered online without any issues and was delivered on time piping hot… pizza was delicious and prices good.. Pizza Town will always be my go to place for pizza….

Always great pizza and a nice change from the churned out pizza of dominos. Recently changed hands and still the same great pizza. Huge appreciation to the new owner, where the delivery was a little delayed, for extra mile taken to make a mends.

We chose Pizza Town for a takeaway whilst holidaying in the area . The wifi where we were staying dropped whilst paying for our online order. When it came back online, I finished the payment but the screen said my order had failed. I then received notifications from my card provider that payments had been charged to my account and on logging into my account to check, I could see TWO charges pending. We called the restaurant and we’re quickly put through to the manager, who couldn’t have been more helpful. The team hadn’t received our order, so they took it straightaway. On collecting the order, we showed them the account screen showing the two pending transactions, and was given cash to cover the second charge, even though they still hadn’t received any notification of either charge. The pizzas were excellent, very tasty with generous toppings. We monitored my account over the next couple of days and the second transaction disappeared (no doubt corrected by the bank) so we took back the cash we’d been given. I am writing this review to recognise and thank the manager and their team for showing amazing customer focus in processing our order so quickly when called, and showing amazing trust in refunding a payment that they had not received. In returning that payment, we hope we have repaid their faith in us.

It's by far the best pizza place in St.Ives. friendly staff, lovely clean and welcoming place. Food was amazing. Sat down and was greeted and giving water and order taken. Food came quickly and is the best I've had in ages. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to go again

We have been getting takeaway pizzas from here for years. Today's was disappointing. The base wasn't quite cooked in the centre and the toppings were bland. Very different in taste and texture from previous pizzas

Good pizza with good variety of options to choose from. Ordered multiple times while we were staying in St Ives.

Ordered online and turned up a little early. Email notifications said pizzas were ready to pick up 22 minutes after I ordered which seemed good! Waited.......waited.....asked ten minutes after that and response was "they're in the oven now". Ok......seems a little misleading. Maybe they're really busy? I mean one of the "chefs" was scoffing their face with pizza and no masks were being worn in the kitchen with 4+ people less than 2 metres apart (review done June 2021) so how it can't be much longer right? Got pizzas 40 minutes after ordering, having to ask after them 3 times. Personally I felt forgotten about. So the service and response to being potentially forgotten about made me make this bad review as I wouldn't have mind being told it would take 40 minutes. Not "your pizza is ready for collection (actually it's not cooked yet)” which felt worse. Real shame as the pizza was very good. 🤷 EDIT: Since posting the review, the owner took the time to call and have a constructive conversation about what was said. I was surprised but I think it goes to show that he wanted to appologise and improve their service. I see this as a positive thing and I am grateful that he took the time to try and rectify any negative experience I may have recieved. A good will gesture was offered and I will hopefully take them up on it as I will say again, the pizza was really very good! Thank you Pizza Town.

Burger was delicious. "Italian" style pizza however was most disappointing!!! Once the chap realised they did actually sell the pizza I desired... He burnt it and it was just a poor excuse of a kebab shop type pizza! Which is what I was trying to avoid by visiting this establishment.

This place has been here a very long time. It has had its ups and downs. I've had some very very nice pizzas from here in the past and some horrible ones. The people who run it are quite nice if you are buying alot of them then they are very friendly. They have also Been quite rude aswell, for example sometimes they have been late and they tell you promises like "your next order we will give you a free pizza" it has never happened... My recent order review : The delivery was fast enough and pizza tasted nice enough, they forgot to put cheese on our chips as asked and charged us for it. The pizzas seemed to have got smaller and prices gone up. It seems they are going down hill a bit..Overall An okay pizza which is better than places like dominos but it seems they are way to inconsistent. You don't know what you will get..Could it be nice or could it be horrible? A gamble ..

This is your typical takeaway pizza. Don't expect much as they use cheap ingredients. It took 1hr 45mins to arrive. Definitely won't be coming here again.

Ordered food for delivery and it was both quick and tasty- Very fresh ingredients! Great local food that is definitely some of the best in the area! Lovely chap who delivered food too! Would definitely recommend and will have again!

Small town pizza restaurant trying its best. Don't expect an authentic cucina or Pizza Pilgrims and you won't be disappointed. You should expect a wonderful passionate family that enjoys entertaining and feeding you.

What an exceptional establishment. I ordered pizza over the phone and had a rather lovely conversation with someone called Jameela. The pizza had a very sumptuous texture and was adequately seasoned. The kebabs were excellently marinaded and provided a rather astonishingly good flavour. I would certainly recommend Pizza Town to all locals - order now!

I haven’t been inside to eat in the restaurant for years (maybe 20!?) but we will always get delivery when we visit Mum’s! Their pizzas are super tasty, non greasy, freshly made, delivered hot. Staff are always super polite and even my fussy child will eat it all up!

Ordered online at 1915 with 1 hour for delivery. 2020 still no food so ring to check, apparently it is going out in the next delivery van. 2045 still no food! Call again to air our frustration and ask for a refund as the food is now too late to arrive before going to work. Was told they were unable to give a refund tonight as they don't know how to work the machine, we will have to go in tomorrow when her husband is working. Very disappointed considering so many people rave about this place. Hopefully we receive our refund without any further complications!

I have been dining here for 30 years! The staff are extremely friendly. The pizzas are quite stodgy, but in a lovely and reliable way, and they taste great. Give it a try, and you might fall in love for a lifetime 😉

Good pizza but the wait for pick up was almost half an hour longer than I was told. It seems a busy place for delivery orders. No customers sat in, which I found weird for a Friday night. The decor looks pretty much the same as I remember it on the early 90s. It's on the expensive side too.

Me and my partner decided to give sitting and eating in the restaurant a try, after having pizza from pizza town before (which was lovely) we had high hopes. Well our high hopes and expectations were very shortly lowered. When we arrived there was maybe another 3 tables in the restaurant- so not busy. We were asked to find a table and the waitress would come over- perfect this was done efficiently and we got our drinks quick too. We then ordered two starters and two mains meals, clearly asked for it to all come out together, the waitress checked back with us and we said we wanted it all together. I heard her say to the chef ‘all together’ when she took the ticket to them. We got our two starters after about 25 minutes and we waited for our mains, they did not come. We finished our starters and waited a further 20-30 minutes for our mains eventhough the waitress had checked whilst we were still eating our starters and told us our mains were just coming out the oven. Our meals (spaghetti carbonara and chicken with chips) were both bland, I didn’t even eat half of my carbonara. We had no checkback at all during the meals. I am myself in the hospitality business so I understand but the whole visit was horrible. We were offered no discount eventhough we complained. Pizza is great on collection however, will not be returning for a sit down meal again, very disappointed.

Amazing food!!! Really fair prices and the quality is amazing!!! One of the best meals out I have had! What helps is the staff being extremely helpful and friendly!! I was served by a lovely young waitress named Tilly whom did an amazing and professional job! Can’t possibly rate anymore than 5 but if I could I would!

This is by far the best tasting pizza I have had. My husband who doesn't even normally like pizza wanted to have it two nights in a row, he loved it. Definitely going to be a weekly thing.

I don't like being negative, but I don't want others to have a similarly disappointing experience. My main gripe is how much they're charging - I felt robbed. We paid over £50 for 3 pizzas and a 3 beers. Two of the pizzas cost over £15 each. For that price, you'd expect something even better than the standard pizza chains (Franco Manca pizzas are half the price and twice as good). The pizzas were average takeaway quality - not terrible, but certainly not worth these prices. Really sorry to be negative, but if you up the quality I would be willing to give you another go.

A disappointing meal out. Left to eat starters with our hands and then had to wait 40 mins for pizza whilst they prioritised takeaway. Food was ok but not really worth the long rate and the pizza bases were pre bought and very cardboard like. Expensive for what it was.

Ordered on-line & told 50 mins. One hour & 50 mins later i'm still waiting. I rang half hour ago to be told its coming out of the oven & being boxed. 30 mins on I ring again to be told its in the oven. Terrible service!! Why tell people 50 mins then take another hour, then tell me its out the oven, then half hour later its still in the oven. Manger won't speak to me because they are busy.

I’m not normally prone to negativity (check my other reviews) but found this to be very disappointing. About the only good thing I can say is the quantity - you get quite a big pizza! Several things went wrong when we visited: 1) Waitress/Front of House barked at us to find a table. It was quite quiet & not at all busy, so we found her rushed aggressiveness strange. 2) Different waitress was forgetful & got order wrong. She presented us with pizza & when we politely told her we had ordered something else she admitted she didn’t have a clue what pizzas she was holding in her hand! 3) Lagers served were warm/room-temperature (not ideal on a hot day!) 4) Pizzas themselves (Margherita & Pepperoni) were really quite greasy/fatty & clearly no fresh ingredients used. The base was artificial & felt like something you could get in a supermarket, and make better yourself. 5) No attempt to offer us a discount despite getting order wrong & long wait for 2nd pizza to arrive, warm beer, bad service etc. I won’t be returning here. Shame as I love pizza!

The pizza's are excellent, like the ones your mum makes at home. Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. I wish this restaurant was closer to my home. Next time I'm in st ives, I shall be returning to this fantastic restaurant. Greeted with a friendly smile by the fellow owners, they went the extra mile to cater for our needs. We as a family felt very welcomed and we thank you for your excellent service. The best Italian in St ives, in fact the best Italian in the Midlands.

I went there with my family which included my one year old daughter and my newborn niece. They were very helpful and accommodating and offered a nice table and a high chair. There were options for my baby daughter to eat and they were very kind to her.We all ordered different deep pan pizzas and they were very yummy, we didn’t have any desserts but the overall experience was very good! Will go again!

My husband and I have been ordering pizza (takeaway) from Pizza Town for years and their service has never faltered. Any error or mistake has been rectified quickly and efficiently, the food is always delicious and the service is always friendly and welcoming (when we used to collect instead of deliver). I've recommended Pizza town to anyone in the local area hungry for good and filling pizza that will not regret 5-6 hours later.
