Placed an order through website, delivery charge was stated as £1.50. 30 minutes later receiver a call saying they hadn’t charged me the correct amount for delivery and it should have been £8. I appreciate I live quite a distance away, but £8 seemed a little excessive, and if it had been stated when ordering I would have ordered from elsewhere. Person in the phone was very rude and short with me on the phone considering the mistake is their side. As soon as I even mentioned cancelling the order, he did so and then told me the refund would be a few days. Clearly doesn’t care about customer service

I ordered the small chicken kebab and a combination kebab (chicken and doner meat) and the chicken came raw… I then called and they sent me a whole new meal. The combination kebab was fine however my chicken wasn’t cooked properly.. again!

For someone who has been a loyal customer for a while now I have been very disappointed. 2 hour wait- I’d feel less disgruntled about this if what we had delivered was up to the usual standard. When the food was delivered the delivery man didn’t even apologise for the late delivery- a small thing but would have helped. I ordered 3 drinks and only got one of the favours I asked for. I would have thought with the time it took to get it delivered they could have rang and asked what drink I would have wanted instead of what I ordered… To add insult to injury when I drank the sprite that I didn’t want/order it had a weird taste. I looked at the bottom of the can and found out why. 31.05.23!!! It was OUT OF DATE! (See picture below) The garlic bread was soggy. Very disappointing! And the chilli sauce had a weird tang that it doesn’t usually have. Although some of the food was good, it doesn’t make up for this poor experience we’ve had with a usually trusty takeaway. Will be reluctant to come back at this rate.

Ordered a shish kebab with lettuce and mayo only! And a cheese burger with mayo only and chips...... recieved shish kebab hardly no meat but rammed with ALL salad!!! And recieved burger again with ALL salad!!!!! There's a reason why you can remove items right? None of it was eaten our monthly treat gone too waste!! Now had too make a meal. Thank you !!!

We ordered our food online On some of it has come the guy was half way down drive way when we opened the door. My chicjen pita only had 3 and half bits of chicken gad the correct sauce thankfully but no salad we ordered salad keep phoning but no answer looking for rest of our food Not good

Ordered the mix kebab (Lamb Shish, Chicken and Kofte) it was definitely Delish, also order the homemade Humous and it was so soft and delicious. One of the cleanest takeaways I have ever been to, service was exemplary and friendly staff made the experience even better. Will definitely be ordering again.

Have been ordering from Delish since they opened (10+ years ago) best donner kebabs and pizzas in the area as far as I'm concerned. Delivery can take a while now since we've moved out of St Ives but happy that they deliver to us at all!

Have been using delish for a while now, and can say they have a very extensive menu, but in my opinion they do the best donner kebab in st ives hands down. Food delivered normally arrives early and very hot, had one delivery that was running late, and the manager called ahead to apologise for the delay. This was very much appreciated, very good customer service. Please keep up the good work.

Food was delicious portion size just right. 2 large kebabs, large chips and garlic pizza bread all for under £30 top notch.

Just had a delivery and to say that the £9.80 mixed shish kebab was small would be overstating its size, there was literally 4 small cubes of chicken and 5 small cubes of lamb with a smattering of poor salad (see photo). If it had at least been great tasting I could maybe say it was okay overall but high price, tiny portions and mediocre quality makes this a definite never again... avoid.

I've ordered a chicken kebab wrap, not pitta, without cucumber and onions. The "kebab" came in a take away box. The chicken was wrapped in aluminium foil and next to it there was the salad WITH cucumbers and onion. Oh, and the wrap ( flat bread) was folded nicely and placed on top of everything. The chicken tasted a bit like lamb so I think they cooked it on the same grill or kept them really close to each other in the fridge. Definitely not a kebab wrap. The wings tasted a bit funny too, as if they weren't really fresh. The rest of the order, fries x2 and salad x2 were fine, but you can't really go wrong with those. A bit disappointing for a £30 order. I wish I could post a couple of pictures, but Google doesn't offer that option.

Fantastic food. Omg the hashbrown burger is to die for!! Wonderful customer service when i experienced an issue with a refund. Dispite hurdles they fully sorted it out and kept in contact.

Had a delivery while I was visiting a friend in the St Ives area, ordered a large chicken kebab and it was actually very good! Chicken was properly char grilled and had a lovely flavour, plenty of salad and chilli sauce came with it too so, all in all I think I would recommend this one 🤔

Absolutely shocking, the guy on the phone was unsure of what they were even selling!!! Had to ask the chef what we ordering,when the delivery arrived it was missing items and the kebab was stone cold...called to ask where missing items were but to no avail...so it goes without saying we will not be using them again

Asked for large doner with large salad and the rude staff member gave one piece of cucumbers tomato and pepper. How cheap!!! But the price was high, £9 of course. The place was dirty with so many flies and bugs around! The food was dry and tasted average. Zero quality, customer service and cleaningnes. Avoid at all cost!

Asked for a large portion woke up with worst kebab ever in history a bread full of onions and 35 chips 11£ avoid the place….

Delish! Delittle more like. Delittlest mixed kebab I've ever been sold. Half a handfull of tiny little slithers of doner meat. Four little chunks of lamb and half a kofte which tasted like 40% fat. All for £11! I know times are getting tight but what a right rip off. First and last time for me.

Wouldn't go anywhere else but in recent weeks the food has been going down hill, thought I'd try it again tonight so ordered a large kebab and chips , kebab was ok wasn't the best iv had from these previously and small chips .. well they were over cooked and only half a box

Large portions very very small. For a large donner probably half portion we received. Also with the large chicken kebab we received about 3 bits of chicken ! Chips were stale and old. Kebab cold.

Order was delivered within 40 minutes of placing the order. The Donar Kebabs we're really good. Very tasty. Will definitely go to this place again soon.

Absolutely disgusting food !!!!

Used to be an amazing take away, best in the area. Last 6 months or so, its awful, food is horrible, arrives late and/cold and orders wrong. Such a shame

Food was cold when it arrived, I’m not convinced it was ever hot enough to be safe to eat. The manager was rude and after some time offered to re do our order, only when we went to collect we were told that wasn’t going to happen and he could Now only give us a refund, leaving us with no dinner.

Order took 2hrs 55m to arrive. Not happy eating a kebab at 10.15 at night when the intention was to eat while watching a film earlier in the evening. Phoned twice to chase. Food Luke warm on arrival.delivery driver phoned to say he was here but he wasn’t-had to phone him and give directions. All in all appalling. Don’t accept orders if you can’t cope with the amount of orders you take!!

First time ordered and best food I have had in St Ives. Lamb in kebab wonderfully tender, large portion size and really tasty. Home-made delicious chilli sauce. Also ordered chicken wings which were properly BBQ'd and excellent. Food was fast, hot and the staff were really friendly. This will definitely become a regular spot for me. Recommend highly - 5* plus.

This is probably the 5th time I've used this takeaway and every time the food has been perfect,even though we are a distance away in the hemingfords the food turns up hot and tasty well packed and presented. No need to go else where in my opinion.

I've had pizza from here, various kebabs, and burgers and chips too (not all on the same visit 😃). It always tastes great and a warm, friendly greeting on every visit too.

This is about the 4th time we have ordered from here and the 1st couple were very nice but the last couple have been rubbish. We asked for chilli sauce the last time and had none. This order took almost 2 hours to get here so was cold and when one had a request for no onions, you be the judge from the picture... There are plenty of places here to deliver so please up your game Delish!!!

They sure do live up to their name! Food is devine! Prices are very reasonable and they deliver all the way out to alconbury. Staff are lovely too! My favourite take away by far!

At the weekend i ordered my fav kebab, I have it or similar every week. Instead i got an awful thing which honestly made me feel sick.I phoned up to say my food was inedible and they apologised. I said I was sorry too and that was the end of the matter. No dinner for me £10.70 .

Ordered 2 kebabs at 7.00 p.m. on saturday 7/11/20 arrived at 9.10 p.m. Absolutely crap service. Will not ever use this shower of s..t again. Avoid this place .

This was my first time to try Delish. After waiting nearly 2 hours for my, so called, fast food, and phoning them a few times to be told your order is on its way, which obviously it wasn't, I cancelled my order and asked for my money to be refunded. I very much doubt that will happen. Will I use Delish again, absolutely no way. The last time I spoke to Delish and expressed my disappointment, they hung up on me. If I could score Zero, I would. Update. I have just received my order and I have to be fair, the food is very good and they have even refunded my money. So fair play and, I take it I spoke to the boss, he was true to his word.

Well.. it was my first visit tonight around 21.00hrs to this establishment on a recommendation from my son... Travelled from Ramsey and i have to say it was perfect from the friendly polite service to the end of my takeaway.... very clinical and very nice food will definitely go again.. worth the trip..

Best takeway in town hands down. The food is so fresh and not one bit of dirty grease in site.

Chilli sauce is out of this world

Our order was delivered to the wrong address. Tried to correct and person on the phone immediately got aggressive and rude. Our house was 6mins away from the shop but no one was “working” lady on the phone was rude, disruptive and overall will never come here again. The lady should be penalised over this. Never coming here again

Friends told us about how good Delish was despite some recent reviews ...... so glad we listened to them because it was brilliant. Ordering on line was easy, payment was a breeze, delivery to us 5 miles away was really quick and the food was brilliant. We ordered 3 different types of kebab and all came exactly as expected and were so well cooked and tasty. Definitely worth a visit or for delivery.

Order came one kebab no pitta Phoned up straight away They apologised and offered to send one Straight away. I said Food would be cold by then. That’s all I can offer I was told.

Ordered food for delivery took 45mins and the chips Where cold And burgers soggy! Won’t use again!

So we ordered a sheash wrap kebab, only had 4 tiny bits of the meat in it. They don't make up the wrap. Paid £5.80 for a small curley Fries and cheese....again smallest amount of fires and cheese. Cost me £12.80 for that. .. Very very expensive for Very little food. Go else where if you are hungry.

Ordered around 615pm on behalf of my family and the food finally arrived 3 hours later. Tried to contact them via phone and live chat, but was number 60, then 71 in queue! I then received a notification from the app that the phone line was down later that night. My family are keen to support local, but this is an absolutely appalling way to run a business. We won't be back.

The last 2 orders, one has taken nearly 2 hours and the other 3 hours to deliver! Order elsewhere or place your order at lunch time!

Have kebabs from elsewhere while at work and trust me nothing compares to Delsih. They are by far the best I have had in my life. Meat is cooked perfectly and portion sizes are large. Delivery drivers are quicker than most places and friendly. Only downside is that I'm never going to lose weight while living in st ives!

The food is good but we had to wait 1 hour and 45min for food to be delivered. No food is worth waiting for that long!

Cold food , 2 hours later run out of ingredients will never order again

I recently moved here. I saw the great reviews about delish and decided to try some of there food, I phoned them up and they took my order but never sent my food even after I placed the order. After about an hour I called again but still never sent my food. Bad experience don’t recommend

delivery never came, was a struggle getting the money back too. Took a LOT to get my money back which was 50% of what i paid. they gave me free food which was cold, soggy and tasted like microwaved. I would steer clear of this place.

Cant beat delish! The food is all freshly prepared and they have a really wide menu. The large doner kebabs are delicious a full of meat and salad. Food is prepared infront of you and it is obviously very clean and hygienic. Worth what you pay for. Definately go!

I got the Doner kebab, which everyone knows is hit and miss wherever you go, and couldn't be happier! No extensive grease, cooked to perfection, tasted fresh and was overall satisfying. Thanks!

Used this place before so thought would ring ahead and order over the phone food was nice very hot cooked well think next time will collect as fornso e reason on the invoice we were charged £1 service charge dunno why maybe you pay for ordering over the phone defo won't do next time but would recommend this place Purley for the food

Good food but few times send wrong orders?

Only just discovered Delish for takeaways and the last few times it has been amazing. Arrived in good time, hot, fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

Delish was a regular Friday night order for many years, since they opened & we recommended them to friends, tonight was an absolute disaster. We won't be ordering from then again, ever!

Last two orders have been disappointing. Quality and size has reduced. Waited over 1.5 hours for cold food to arrive and then informed it wasn’t cold over the phone! Very poor customer service. Won’t be ordering again.
