The best restaurants in Hertsmere East of England

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Drinks machines not working. Told make your own from coffee powder and chocolate powder in unsealed metal trays that anyone could contaminate. Sticky cups, my hand stuck to the handle. Milk already poured into jugs uncovered. One had a fly in it!!! One member of staff not very helpful. When I asked if machine was working he said "No , hot water in there, coffee in there and walked off. Yuk!!! Had to give 1 star as it wouldn't submit otherwise.

Went in for a snack yesterday, 2 pieces of Chicken and fries came to £6.99 Absent minded I handed over a Tenner and went and sat down, the guy behind the counter found me and handed me my change which I had forgotten. Honesty and integrity is still alive!

Visited at 3pm on a Sunday and they only had 1 type of bread available. Order was also completely messed up and they had to refund hash browns as they were out of stock by the time we collected the order.

Went to drive through had to repeat order three time when got to the pay window they have my order paid for it got to pick up window told us to go to car park the order was simple nowhere to park in car park after minutes went to enquire the whole place was a disaster area

Is this even a Starbucks? Not a smile....Warmth interaction or even a Starbucks looking shop. Shop looks actually empty. Like an office seating area. 0 Starbucks feeling and atmosphere. Except for the merchandising wall. Staff: I swear I didn't see anyone smiling. Everyone bland or chattering away. Only one serving. I can see other people here have shared the same experience as me. I suppose the managers, took one of biggest high up tables and were doing their paperwork there, which I personally found not very pleasant whatsoever and unprofessional. She also looked at me with the weirdest rude face. This is a very busy area, with loads of take away and drive thru requests, I get it. However, if you want to call yourselves Starbucks, I advise you to have more training, more research and even go to a proper Starbucks to see how the customer service is. Complaint is going to the head office.

Just had a pizza, garlic bread and spicy wedges the first time for years as last time was not very nice, thought we would give them another go. How wrong were we it was all cold and hardly any cheese on on pizza in fact hardly any topping on pizza either. Complete waste of money, now I know why not ordered from Pizza Hut for years and will not be ordering from them EVER again.

5 mins wait for a small latte …after no queue for order and payment…. for £4.10 a better service would be appreciated. I have been a customer here for many years.

AVOID. GO TO COSTA INSTEAD. Very rude & aggressive barista. Got my drink order wrong. Then told me he could not make me the drink that I ordered. Then gave me some Luke warm alternative as they could not be bothered to add the correct amount of ice. Walked past an hour later and saw him get into his white BMW convertible, which he had parked outside the store, with a large ice drink looking smug.

Variety of staff that vary from excellent to totally uninterested. Coffee prices have gone up over 16% (inflation rate = 5%). Starbucks charge £2.75 for an Americano - these guys have put their price up to £3.20. Menu items frequently unavailable. Their attitude seems to be that there is a captive audience delivered by David Lloyd and they can perform as poorly as they like. Little evidence of any catering management - just untrained young people trying their best.

I’ve ordered from many Domino’s branches before, but the Potters Bar location is by far the worst experience I’ve had. The delivery time was appalling – over an hour late with no update or apology. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The quality? Embarrassing. The pizza base was soggy, the cheese rubbery, and don’t even get me started on the toppings. I ordered extra toppings and paid for them, but the pizza looked like it had been made in a rush with barely any toppings at all – a few scattered pieces here and there. It’s not even close to what Domino’s promises. For a well-known chain, this branch is a disgrace. Poor service, poor quality, and absolutely no value for money. I won’t be ordering from here again, and I’d advise others to steer clear until some serious changes are made.

Got more then we paid for today. 1 hair in our plant burger and one huge hair in a mcflurry! Absolutely disgusting. Please make sure you ALWAYS check your order before leaving as they never get it right.

Seems customer services even down to ordering pizzas is going downhill fast when will companies learn the value of good customer services, called to order my normal pizza deals was advised the new price was £30+ queried why I normally pay £26 advised that deal ended, advised if I go online will it make a difference he replied no, went online same deal £26 which I ordered, called back to tell them I was given the wrong information and the deal is available, was pretty much advised “good for you” attitude with the phone slammed down, well for someone using your store for 3 years + I can promise my pizzas will now be ordered elsewhere

Ordered online, 2 9inch pizzas. Arrived barely hot, looking and tasting like they had been sat on a counter for half hour or more. Didn't taste fresh, was very disappointed considering the last time we ordered from them the pizzas were fab. Maybe that was beginners luck as they had just opened. Won't be rushing to order from them again.
