Drink at your peril!! Staff scratch heads wipes their faces and push rubbish down in bins and never wash their hads. Ask what food rating they were no one knew. Rubbish a over the floors counters dirty sugar stations empty. I sat and watched fir over 3 hours. Only now have a few tables been wiped. Cup lids dropped on floor picked up and used. What a mess!!!

Rather go to the counters inside the services, avoid the drive thru. This morning I stopped at South Mimms services. I had a strawberry and cream frappuccino inside the building was really good (has been a favourite choice of mine at various Starbucks). On my way home I saw there is a Starbucks drive thru, thought it was so nice I will treat myself. Wish I didn't!! The lady spilled a lot of the ice and milk mixture. Then topped with a lot of cream to make up volume. The other person did not add much strawberry syrup. It tasted like cold watered down milk and cream, barely tasted the strawberry. Waste of money.

I ordered my very simple coffee (grande caramel macchiato) at the drive thru, had to repeat it three times, got to the window and was charged incorrectly by staff for £11. Told it would take 10 business days to refund me which with all the bank holidays is literally 16 real days(!!) then they tried to charge me another £4.80 for my coffee after literally taking £11 off me for the next three weeks? Member of staff with brown hair and an undercut was so rude and aggressive she was basically squaring up to me through the drive thru window and shouting at me? Insinuating she would spit in my coffee as well, I’ve actually never seen anything like it proper ghetto behaviour incompetent rude aggressive staff so disgusting 🤮 other staff had to apologise for her behaviour and agreed that she shouldn’t hand me my coffee in case she spat in it

Anyway instead of just not giving me cream (like some places would) They put it in a cup and even gave me a wee spoon. I have used both the drive thru and the Starbucks in the services and the drive thru is always better with consistent good quality and friendly staff so I prefer it and today while I didn't notice it at the time one of the wondful staff wrote something on my cup which after a long drive to work and me finally noticing made me laugh and made me start my work shift with a big smile on my face. ⚠️😡😡AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!😡😡⚠️ I visited here today and purchased a cookies and cream frap with cream. Was not given a receipt. I was waiting 30 minutes and other customers were getting increasingly annoyed. The chap making the coolers was taking so long, he was staring off into space. There were so many issues with other customers drinks which were being sent back. The girl on the till had a huge attitude problem and was slamming cups down onto the worktop and was being incredibly rude with customers. One lady ordered a cold drink without cream but it was served with cream. Myself and other customers saw him just scrape the cream off. The customer in concern called him out on this. Someone really should redo their allergies training. Anyway I had enough at this point and I asked for a refund. The server did this with a face like, I won’t use the term. When I got back to the car I noticed it wasn’t even my refund receipt. So now not only am I a drink down, I don’t even know if I’m getting my money back. Thanks South Mimms Starbucks. Won’t be visiting again, my child is crying now.

Brown customers are addressed as "Chai latte" or "Black Americano" at Starbucks counter South Mimms Services: I was at the Starbucks South Mimms (London Orbital Motorway South Mimms, M25, Potters Bar) this morning at 8:10am (July 1st '22). I asked for 2 Balck Americanos, the lady at the cash counter asked my name I told her and she entered into the system. I was waiting for the coffee, when the coffee was ready, there was another lady calling the customers by their first names written on the cup. She called "Chris", then she looked at next the cup and said "Chai latte", then looked at the next cup and called "Steven". Next one was my coffee cup, getting ready to be collected; she looked at the name written on the cup and called "Black Americano". I didn't know why she didn't call me by my name? Though I collected the coffee and went back to my table, it started bothering me slowly. So I went back to the counter and asked for the manager. The same lady came forward saying she is the manager. I asked her why she didn't call me by my name, she said "I cannot read it", I looked at the cup it is written clearly "*vivek*", aksed the guy next to me if he can read he said "yes". I asked her again, why did you call the previous other Brown guy "Chai Latte" and then the two white guys as Chris, the next Steven, and then me as "Black Americano". She said "there you are!", I don't know what that is supposed to mean, then she said "this conversation is over". Standing at a Starbucks counter, she is doing a racial profiling in a cheap and petty way, and then when someone asks for an explanation, she says "there you are!" and "this conversation is over!". Is this why Starbucks is asking names from the customers so that they can be discriminated based on their race/origin? I have been thinking about this whole day and been feeling so bad, as if someone has the right to treat me that way and then brazen it out saying "so what?", that too standing in a Starbucks coffee counter. This is not fair. If this was just an innocent mistake she would have immediately said sorry, but she didn't. She was completely unfazed when I protested. She knew exactly what she was doing there and she knew what I was protesting about, but she just didn't care, maybe she knows she would easily get away with it. Maybe she did it before, maybe this is the norm at that counter. Maybe someone else protested in the past and nothing happened. I am aghast! This was not necessary at any level. I hope Starbucks management takes notice of this and does something about it so that brown guys are not addressed as "Chai Latte" or "Black Americano" instead of their names when their white counterparts are addressed by their first names with a smile. I never thought I would have to write this review but this incidence has shaken me from inside. The brazenness of the staff was astounding!
