Waited 15 minutes to get my order, which I had to ask for twice, after having to explain what it was when I ordered it (I just wanted a chai latte!) And it didn't exactly taste great once I received it. Definitely not the usual service expected of a Starbucks. Better to go to the stand alone store across the car park.

I asked for a Tall Strawberry Coconut. He tired to put through a large. The drink was ok tasking but did not meet expectations. Not worth the money at all.

As usual a predictable reliable product with little excitement, and a need for healthy (high fibre low sugar) snacks which are absent from almost all "fast food" outlets.

Terrible cant even make a hot coffee to order

Drink at your peril!! Staff scratch heads wipes their faces and push rubbish down in bins and never wash their hads. Ask what food rating they were no one knew. Rubbish a over the floors counters dirty sugar stations empty. I sat and watched fir over 3 hours. Only now have a few tables been wiped. Cup lids dropped on floor picked up and used. What a mess!!!

Got here at 7:48pm and parked outside, got told I can’t go inside and it’s drive through only, so I jumped back in my car and there was a cone in the drive through, I pulled back up and asked if they was closed and they said yes we closed at 7:50pm On the website it says they close at 10pm….

Dog friendly and within easy distance of caravan parking is the main reason for stopping here. Shame you have to pay over the odds because it's a service area.

I went to the drive thru and only got a coffee, but it was a good coffee. My current fav, a white choc mocha. I was introduced by a friend and its a sweet pick me up for a challenging day.

Slow service considering I was the only customer ordering and there were 3 baristas on staff. They were all chatting and the wait was awkward.

Ordered two grand lattes via Deliveroo from the Starbucks. The milk was off. Couldn’t contact that Starbucks as they don’t have a phone!!! Deliveroo not interested, really appalling service for very expensive coffee which was undrinkable the last time I shall ever use Starbucks.

Always incredible service and coffee served with a smile from Jessica. My commute now starts with a coffee from here thanks to the wonderful service received. Jessica and her staff are a credit to the Starbucks Franchise and special thanks to Jessica for introducing me to the app. Great service from her.

All the facilities you'd usually expect from a Starbucks. Has ample parking and a drive thru also. Located a stone's throw off the M25 it's easy to get in, out and back on your way if you want to stop for a quick coffee.

I was served by a very friendly and pleasant young lady here.

Used the drive-through to order drinks. Queue went down quickly. Quick service. The server asked if I wanted to use my reward points against a drink which I appreciated. However what would have been £8 for two drinks is quite expensive.

It’s a shame Sam only works there at weekends. He is by far the best barista I have ever come across. Always greets customers with a smile and takes pride in what he does. He definitely deserves a bonus. Thank you Sam! :))

Mocca today tasted like it was made with off milk

Love this Starbucks. It's in South Mimms Services on the M25 but it's seperate from the main services so not as busy. It has a toilet so theres no need to visit the main services building.

Average all round but very poor condition toilets. Wet floor and not clean.

Very disappointed. I thought you could rely on a big name like Starbucks but the croissants were dreadful, mass produced, cold, a million miles from what you'd expect in France. Together with a very mediocre cappuccino and dirty milk service area, I certainly won't go back. £12.90 for 2 coffees and 2 croissants ... appalling amount for the quality they produce

Extremely poor service, waited at the counter and just ignored by the rude and incompetent employee who saw us waiting and was asked by her colleague to serve us but she just carried on wiping things over and didn't even acknowledge us. The coffee tasted like ditch water. Would never use again.

Absolutely atrocious behaviour of staff working there. Lazy and incompetent female ” supervisor ” prepared my drink wrong and after pointing that out she chased after me from behind the counter yelling and causing a scene. Needs more training how to work with others and be social or change her profession and stay away from customer service. Avoid at all costs or use self service stand!

I have always loved this place, but recently all the staff members are teenagers always confused and don't know what they are doing even when you clearly say it in your order and the waiting time to get the drinks is another story....really sorry to see this place as bad as that.

Rather go to the counters inside the services, avoid the drive thru. This morning I stopped at South Mimms services. I had a strawberry and cream frappuccino inside the building was really good (has been a favourite choice of mine at various Starbucks). On my way home I saw there is a Starbucks drive thru, thought it was so nice I will treat myself. Wish I didn't!! The lady spilled a lot of the ice and milk mixture. Then topped with a lot of cream to make up volume. The other person did not add much strawberry syrup. It tasted like cold watered down milk and cream, barely tasted the strawberry. Waste of money.

Very bad service. No greeting, few people were served before me, even though they walked in five minutes after me. Staff was only focusing on serving the drive through. Appalling service and attitude. Made my coffee with normal milk not oats, despite intolerance. Your staff at the drive through is Racist, bias and judgmental

Very unpleasant staff at the outside drive through. Made my coffee with normal milk instead oats and I have allergy. Also served bunch of people that came 5min after me because they work at the stop. All the staff Was sour and unpleasant

Was served by Jessie. Absolute nightmare. Attitude stinks. Gave me my friends drink without the lid on properly and it went all over my car. Didn’t even offer tissue. I parked my car and went into the shop and she let someone else deal with her mess. She shouldn’t work in customer service at all.

Messed up my drink not once but twice! Asked for a large decaf with whole milk, get a regular decaf with semi skimmed. Asked them to fix it and they give me a non decaf. Very poor.

I ordered my very simple coffee (grande caramel macchiato) at the drive thru, had to repeat it three times, got to the window and was charged incorrectly by staff for £11. Told it would take 10 business days to refund me which with all the bank holidays is literally 16 real days(!!) then they tried to charge me another £4.80 for my coffee after literally taking £11 off me for the next three weeks? Member of staff with brown hair and an undercut was so rude and aggressive she was basically squaring up to me through the drive thru window and shouting at me? Insinuating she would spit in my coffee as well, I’ve actually never seen anything like it proper ghetto behaviour incompetent rude aggressive staff so disgusting 🤮 other staff had to apologise for her behaviour and agreed that she shouldn’t hand me my coffee in case she spat in it

Worst customer service. That tall white lady is so rude and unprofessional. The other man who claims he is the manager is so unhygenic in the way he prepares the drinks. Do not recommend this to those who want actual Starbucks standard coffee.

Ordered my coffee with cream but they couldn't put cream on top for deliveries which is understandable. Anyway instead of just not giving me cream (like some places would) They put it in a cup and even gave me a wee spoon. They wrote on the bag explaining why they couldn't with a little " :( " and it was so sweet. I was having a rough morning but this little bit of extra effort has gone such a long way. Its the little things x

Hey Starbucks, next time my wife asks for chocolate in her coffee, PUT CHOCOLATE IN HER COFFEE! She is only pretending to be on a diet so consuming anything that's actually considered dieting is unacceptable and I can only avoid so many flying dishes.

Always a great place to go. Coffee beats all others (in my opinion!) And normally the staff are lovely. You get the odd few that are there just for the money and have no interest in customer service but this one is really good. Definitely worth the visit.

Usual Starbucks deal, but still enjoyed the large Cappuccino and the lemon 🍋 drizzle muffin was ok too (7.5/10) but def not as good as M&S lemon muffins.. otherwise quite enjoyable coffee ☕ break 😴

Silly expensive really given it's just a chain. Over £10 for 2 coffees and a packet of crisps. My flat white was VERY strong.

I had to wait a few minutes before got served and then got change of 1quid coins out of 20quid note for 4quid worth hot chocolate. Wow!

Used the drive through. They got my order wrong but won't take any more stars off as what they gave me was lush! The salted caramel and mapel latte is amazing!

Fast service. Table were clean and tidy. Drinks were tasty. No chai latte when we went. No queues. Got served straight away. Staff friendly. Great place to have rest and stretch your legs a bit. Plenty of seating areas inside and outside. Little cakes and others snacks available too.

Went when it was pretty quiet but it still took an age to be acknowledged by staff. Service was alright but could have been better. Overpriced compared to other branches but then service station branches always are.

Stopped here to get a coffee mid way through a road trip and the minute we got to the counter a member of staff who wasnt serving me shouted across rather rudely that a frappucino would be a long wait. Very rude and unecessary and made me feel singled out in the whole shop. Left without buying anything.

Over priced rubbish. Starbucks across the board have gone down hill lately and this is no exception. Limited selection so you have to go for more expensive. Guy in front of me got his food back cold/raw.

I have used both the drive thru and the Starbucks in the services and the drive thru is always better with consistent good quality and friendly staff so I prefer it and today while I didn't notice it at the time one of the wondful staff wrote something on my cup which after a long drive to work and me finally noticing made me laugh and made me start my work shift with a big smile on my face. Keep it up ❤️

⚠️😡😡AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!😡😡⚠️ I visited here today and purchased a cookies and cream frap with cream. Was not given a receipt. I was waiting 30 minutes and other customers were getting increasingly annoyed. The chap making the coolers was taking so long, he was staring off into space. There were so many issues with other customers drinks which were being sent back. The girl on the till had a huge attitude problem and was slamming cups down onto the worktop and was being incredibly rude with customers. One lady ordered a cold drink without cream but it was served with cream. Myself and other customers saw him just scrape the cream off. The customer in concern called him out on this. Someone really should redo their allergies training. Anyway I had enough at this point and I asked for a refund. The server did this with a face like, I won’t use the term. When I got back to the car I noticed it wasn’t even my refund receipt. So now not only am I a drink down, I don’t even know if I’m getting my money back. Thanks South Mimms Starbucks. Won’t be visiting again, my child is crying now.

Brown customers are addressed as "Chai latte" or "Black Americano" at Starbucks counter South Mimms Services: I was at the Starbucks South Mimms (London Orbital Motorway South Mimms, M25, Potters Bar) this morning at 8:10am (July 1st '22). I asked for 2 Balck Americanos, the lady at the cash counter asked my name I told her and she entered into the system. I was waiting for the coffee, when the coffee was ready, there was another lady calling the customers by their first names written on the cup. She called "Chris", then she looked at next the cup and said "Chai latte", then looked at the next cup and called "Steven". Next one was my coffee cup, getting ready to be collected; she looked at the name written on the cup and called "Black Americano". I didn't know why she didn't call me by my name? Though I collected the coffee and went back to my table, it started bothering me slowly. So I went back to the counter and asked for the manager. The same lady came forward saying she is the manager. I asked her why she didn't call me by my name, she said "I cannot read it", I looked at the cup it is written clearly "*vivek*", aksed the guy next to me if he can read he said "yes". I asked her again, why did you call the previous other Brown guy "Chai Latte" and then the two white guys as Chris, the next Steven, and then me as "Black Americano". She said "there you are!", I don't know what that is supposed to mean, then she said "this conversation is over". Standing at a Starbucks counter, she is doing a racial profiling in a cheap and petty way, and then when someone asks for an explanation, she says "there you are!" and "this conversation is over!". Is this why Starbucks is asking names from the customers so that they can be discriminated based on their race/origin? I have been thinking about this whole day and been feeling so bad, as if someone has the right to treat me that way and then brazen it out saying "so what?", that too standing in a Starbucks coffee counter. This is not fair. If this was just an innocent mistake she would have immediately said sorry, but she didn't. She was completely unfazed when I protested. She knew exactly what she was doing there and she knew what I was protesting about, but she just didn't care, maybe she knows she would easily get away with it. Maybe she did it before, maybe this is the norm at that counter. Maybe someone else protested in the past and nothing happened. I am aghast! This was not necessary at any level. I hope Starbucks management takes notice of this and does something about it so that brown guys are not addressed as "Chai Latte" or "Black Americano" instead of their names when their white counterparts are addressed by their first names with a smile. I never thought I would have to write this review but this incidence has shaken me from inside. The brazenness of the staff was astounding!

Price Hike, no warning! Got my Americano Tall on the board states £3.00 and I was charged £3.05. I asked for an explanation on the discrepancy and the wan at the till just muffled as she didn't understand and went hiding behind the coffee machine. I didn't challenge it further. Obviously looks like Starbucks doesn't care about training staff ,keeping their prices up to date and I felt just like another cash cow coming for a coffee

Ordered a coffee, which needed to be stirred. They failed to even give me a stirrer so none of the syrup was mixed in and all I could taste was cold blonde roast coffee! How was I meant to drink this?

I love my cappuccino with extra milk plus honey, no sugar. It always taste nice with one of the homemade muffins. Anytime I en route through M25 I usually branch at the Starbucks for refreshments and I always enjoyed it. I gave my 5 stars because I enjoy it.

Got are order wrong when I went back the girl said she could not hear and there is loads of customers so how how was she supposed to get your order right

Used drive through - fairly quick service, order all correct and drink was nice enough. Be wary though, whilst this isn’t IN the service station, you’re most definitely paying service station prices, very expensive compared to normal Starbucks.

The queue was massive as clearly not enough staff, I went to use the toilet and it was disgusting with what looked like pee all over the floor and toilet. I reported this when placing my order, but staff didn't seem bothered and this just seems a regular occurrence. Such a shame as it puts me off using this chain.

I love my coffee decided to try a tea this time I was very surprised that the girl took my order on the drive through I sat over 10 minutes waiting to get my tea only to be told they have no tea bags left this was not great especially sat 10 minutes waiting, there is a Starbucks cafe in the mall across the road so the drive through was a complete disaster, I walk over to the mall and into Starbucks got myself the tea walk bk to my car only to find that the tea was like hot water with milk there was not taste of tea what so ever , especially it was £2.40 a cup worse experience ever also no apologies from any of the staff members in the mall rubbish customer service 😡😡😡ps I recommend that Starbucks take there tea of there menu and stick to coffee only 👍

Popped in for a cheeky drink didn't have what I wanted to order but offered something similar and it was amazing and when I next get a Starbucks will we getting it again.

Busy, slow service, and dirty toilets. Coffee was OK. Not good enough for a pitstop on a long journey, especially at the price.
