Love this cosy country pub, good choice of food with decent veg options, friendly service too.

Lovely food, friendly and speedy service. Went for lunch and the place was heaving with several large groups and yet our food turned up in double quick time. No idea how the kitchen pulls it off. Well done one and all.

A nice friendly pub. Great food. A few really noisy kids took the edge off the meal as we couldn’t hear each other - I’m all for family pubs, but screaming and fighting not fun for other guests. Lovely after they’d left.

We visited The Roundbush for dinner on Mothers Day. The roast beef was amazing and the staff were really nice and friendly, Looking forward to going back there again soon!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Shannon is the hostess with the mostess! . Sorted out our party of 24 like an absolute pro and all with a smile on her face. The food was excellent, very generous portions and everything cooked to perfection. They reserved us a good separate section of the pub and the accompanying playpark for the kids in the party just meant the whole thing worked so slickly. The bar side seemed really welcoming and clearly loved by some friendly locals. Would come back in a heart beat and thank you for making a special birthday occasion such a lovely memory. We are looking forward to coming back already.

Lovely pub and good atmosphere, the staff were nice and attentive. Unfortunately the food is waayyy overpriced! Haddock was overcooked and dry and friends said their burgers came out burnt and oily. I won't be back for food!

I had haddock and chips, the fish was fresh and flaky, would have preferred chunky chips, but the fries were good.

Always lovely food and the staff really make sure we have a nice time. One small complaint...the coffee always tastes bitter and burnt. Tried 3 or 4 times.

Great pub for Sunday roast. The food was excellent and plentiful. The staff super helpful and friendly and nice open log fire to warm you up.

Went with a large group of walkers - the numbers changed a couple of times beforehand but this was not a problem as the staff were very amenable to amend the numbers even at late notice. The staff were very attentive, friendly and willing to meet our needs and took and delivered orders efficiently. The food was good and tasty. We were made to feel very much at home, so much so that our relaxed stay was longer than I can remember at any other pub. Well done Roundbush staff!

The Round Bush was fantastic today on all counts. Only had a light lunch but it arrived quickly, was hot and tasty, and the staff were exceedingly pleasant.

We visited for lunch on Xmas Eve. 10 adults and 6 children. Excellent service, great food, a real local gem and worth visit.

Very friendly pub, I did not have food but was told by many people how nice it is. I visited this pub as my mum used to work behind the bar 40 years ago! It has not changed at all still a great local old country pub with open fire.

This place is a little gemstone. The service is great, the food is amazing, and it just feels very homely and welcoming. I would definitely recommend giving this lovely country pub a go but would suggest booking as it gets very, very busy. The Sunday lunch was out of this world delicious, you should give it a go.. Enjoy!

Club Xmas meal, 40 of us, so a bit of a challenge, service was a bit slow but the food was excellent and the staff are great. Will definitely be back

I am amazed that I found this gem of an amazing pub, in the middle of nowhere having walked through the fields via Battlers Green Farm on my way to Aldenham and "chanced" along here. If YOU want a happy,friendly,professionally run pub STILL giving YOU the feeling of "doing THEM a favour for just turning up" then THIS is most definitely THE pub for YOU! It's one of those very RARE experiences that YOU would wish that you could just pick it up and take it to wherever you live! Apart from this.....it's OK! 😉😊( he says sarcastically) I just love this pub and you will too! Nigel Coyne

Was here on a Saturday evening. How lovely to finally find a pub that IS traditional - lovely staff, great food, welcoming with a warm atmosphere and ambience. Nothing pretentious, just a cosy charming local pub with a really friendly vibe. In a world of 'chain' pubs it's so refreshing to have a good meal and cold pint in a local place that's doing it all right! Exactly what you'd want a 'local' pub to be, and you feel it as soon as you walk in the door!

A great welcoming local pub with fantastic food and lovely vibe. We were a party of 5 and went primarily for a few drinks, but thought we'd try a few starters. We were so glad we did - Everything was delicious, and even the salad was lovely. Not just something pulled out of a bag and thrown next to the food, but lovely in of itself. The coated crispy prawns were perfect and crisp yet not 'greasy' at all. The pate was lovely with the onion chutney - Literally all the individual elements added to the overall meal and were tasty all by themselves. Leek and Stilton soup - Perfect. It was all so nice we ordered mains a good while later too. All of them arrived piping hot and were so delicious. We were not rushed, but instead allowed to simply relax and chat and then order from the lovely staff when we were ready. There was a good crowd of 'regulars' but unlike other local bars there was no feeling of it being a closed clique - We felt just like any other regular as soon as we walked in. We met one of the owners (Shannon?) who introduced herself and made sure we were having a lovely evening - Which we were! All in all, it was everything you'd hope a local pub would be if it was doing everything right, which the team here clearly are. Thank you for a wonderful evening, and now we've found you we will certainly be back!

I hadn't been here for some time. My brother was visiting from Australia and wanted to go somewhere local, a bit of "memory lane". The food and drink were good but the service was absolutely fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We couldn't have wanted more.

Some things never change. The Round Bush .. straightforward friendly welcoming unpretentious local pub.. I've have been an occasional visitor since the 1980's. It never disappoints..enjoy.

Only criticism, the food could have been hotter. Service poor but pub was very busy.

Upon entering was warm/friendly, Olives starter absolutely fab, followed by chops medium rare for my fella, n chicken breast in white wine sauce for me, :) very ...... nice!!!!!

What a wonderful experience. A first time visit with family from Ecuador so they can live the pub experience. It was the best countryside pub visit. The food was amazing and the 2 ladies were very friendly, accomodating and always with a smile. I will definitely come back and promote this venue.

The worst Sunday lunch Eaten in many a year

Great pub, friendly landlord. Lovely place to go when walking the dog. Haven’t used for food but will return as what I saw looked great.

We booked to celebrate my father-in-law’s 97th birthday. Staff were excellent, professional and caring, the pub was full but we were not rushed and management took time to engage with us - would recommend.

This old friend is growing very shabby and the toilets are pokey and dirty. The food was pretty average .

As it was a Sunday, we had the raist lamb and the roast chicken. (There are other dishes available on a Sunday) Both were cooked very well and were lovely. Plenty of veg, roast potatoes, and gravy. Very good value for money and reasonably priced. Nice, friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

We attended the steak night at the round bush & I must say this was no disappointment. Beautiful cut of a T-Bone steak cooked to perfection. I happened upon this pub after attending a stone setting at nearby Old Bushey Jewish Cemetery. What a delightful place. During the busy period on a Sunday afternoon the staff found our party of 5 a table without any fuss where we were treated to a lovely Sunday roast served by absolutely charming girls. Such a lovely pub, I highly recommend it and will be back if we are ever in the Radlett area again.

Nice enough place. Burger I ordered had been cremated but other than that food was ok. Would I return......yes. Maybe the kitchen staff had a bad day.

Fantastic roast beef Sunday dinner, vegetables were cooked just right, the sirloin beef was divine, the portions were large and just right.Was a bit worried when dinner came out with steak knives on the plate but the meat was so tender could have used butter knives. Service quick efficient and plenty of smiles.

This pub is boasting with popularity and so it should , set in a beautiful location , a warm welcome by fantastic staff and food is exceptional . I personally think they make the best omelette I have ever eaten, today was a reminder I need to go more often

We like this pub for the odd lunch… however… The prices are going up and I’m really not sure that they are warranted. I now avoid the main meals and tend to stick to the baguettes with chips which are good value for money. But £16 at lunchtime for a burger is just a couple quid north of acceptable imho. No lunch menu or offers. Just looking to fleece the local millionaires I guess?!

Came here for sunday lunch, loveliest bank holiday meal. The staff were so accommodating, happy to make any meal changes me and my family needed. Very generous portions, lovely food and great service. No faults - if you want a cosy family dinner - this is the place for you. 5stars in my eyes.

Lovely family run pub. Around the corner from Aldenham farm. We were a party of 3 adults 1 infant and a dog for Easter lunch. Service was wonderful. Food very wholesome and lovely. Can't go wrong!

Quite a nice ' traditional' pub, food of an acceptable level if a little pricey for what it is (however that's true of most places post Covid!) Staff friendly and quite helpful. Seating is uncomfortable after 90 minutes or so (take a cushion if saying for a while). Good choices of alcohol.

I have eaten here several times over the years and received excellent service, unfortunately yesterday they were severely lacking. Sunday lunch not available, steak pie was basic, we had to wait for cutlery to be “washed “ then we were ignored.. no offer of dessert and decided to go to bar to pay and leave.

Food was tasty but my pie had very little meat in it.

Went with my grandson to the RoundBrush and my daughter, the food was exceptionally good. The drinks were very nice and the staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Couldn’t do enough to help us will definitely be going back for more lunch. Is there breaks the day up thanks again RoundBrush for a lovely afternoon ❤️🥰😘 better

Had Sunday lunch very good but never like at home

It was good I had the crispey chicken burger it was crispey and the pudding was really tasty

Tucked away on a country road but so pleased we came after hearing good things. We received a lovely welcome and were seated us at a table quickly - surprised it was so busy on a Wednesday but we soon established why. Really friendly but polite and professional staff who made us feel like family. They dealt with our drinks order quickly and explained the specials board when we were handed the menus. Fabulous menu which caters for all tastes and all degrees of hunger. My partner had the lamb chops, was asked how he liked them and they were cooked to perfection. I had the scampi which was really tasty. Portion size is generous (too generous for me but did my best)! We now understand why the place is busy - they deserve to be. Excellent food beautifully cooked and served with smiles. What more could you want? We'll be back very soon.

Although we are not locals, a good friend of ours is and we have visited here three times now. Everytime we are warmly greeted by staff and instantly made to feel welcome. Today we had lunch, nacho burger for me, falafel burger for my friend and chicken pie for my partner. Could not fault the food at all! Tasty, and good value for money. The pies are made fresh locally every day, how lovely. Overall a great experience, friendly staff and excellent service. Thank you and see you again very soon x

Had a private function here for mine and my partners gender reveal. The day could not have gone any better and it is all thanks to the wonderful staff and management at the Roundbush. The buffet was delicious with a variety of hot and cold food and more than enough to feed the whole party (even some left over to take home). Nothing was too much to ask and all those at the function had nothing but positive things to say about the food, drink, staff and pub. Will definitely be using for future functions. Thank you again making our day so lovely!

We come here for a birthday meal on Sunday for my mums birthday, the team went above and beyond to make it special for us, we had a large group of 14 but they done a great job serving us all and the food was lovely. Highly recommend

Food took 1h and 20 minutes to arrive. The order was wrong causing us to have to ask them to change it extending the time before we were able to eat anything. Thankfully they gave us free pudding which ended up having a hair in it for one of the people i came with, so we returned that. The cream was lumpy and again they got the order wrong. I would not suggest this place..

Went here for a pre-opening drink. Really nicely refurbished, keeps a nice pub feel but also an air of quality. The management team seem to have some great ideas for making this sustainable business which I hope to try more in the future. Live F1 without have to buy Sky would get me there….hint hint

A huge thank you to you and your staff for giving us such a brilliant lunch yesterday (25/12/22). The service was very good as was the way you made us all feel so welcome. Tell the chef the food was also excellent. All of us said the same........ ‘please book us in for next year’.

We were welcomed with a lovely glass of fizz, followed by festive tunes and smiles all round, they made Christmas day special for us all and for that we are very grateful for being so local to this gem!! We visit the Round bush regularly and almost feel like we are apart of this lovely family run pub due to the welcome feel when you walk through the door. The food is always tasty, making sure our meals are cooked exactly how we would enjoy them, the staff are all attentive and serving with smiles, I would definitely recommend if you are in the area!!

I visited the Roundbush over christmas for my mums birthday and the food was amazing. The baked camembert is to die for. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I could not recommend this pub enough.

Such a shame. After 24 happy years of frequenting this pub, my last visit was a disappointment. I paid the bill in full – no quibbles and made a passing comment to the Owner licensee that I thought that the quality of the kitchen had gone down. Oops! An eruption. I was given a lot of verbal and told that if I did not like the food I should go to an alternative establishment. Well, I will. Somebody who does not understand hospitality should not be in the hospitality trade.

It is sad to see a good thing die but The Round Bush isn’t what it used to be. I am supposing that most of the items on their menu are purchased chilled and the kitchen only needs to warm them. No skill needed there....
