Ive come to starbucks a few times now and each time they cnt get a coffee right. To make it worse the order is typed on the cup.. The most recent time I asked for a mocha with cream and when i checked it there was no cream. I politely asked the lady to put cream on top to which she started questioning the order even though it was typed on the cup then she said the cream had melted! There was no cream on the coffee to begin with!!! Staff are rude and arrogant! If you can see after numerous times they still cnt get orders correct there is obviously a problem and looking at other reviews im not the only one!

Stopped off at South Mimms services early this morning and feeling peckish I bought a piece of banana bread to takeaway. One bite and OMG 😦 Soooo dry!! 😖I could barely swallow it. £3.25, what a waste of money. I’m totally disgusted that they can sell food that is plainly days old.

Today is the last day I will use this diabolical drive through. I would say that out of the last ten visits they got our order wrong. These were not big orders. They are for 2 drinks. They were not even busy. You can literally give your order and ask them to repeat it back and they will have it wrong. It’s almost a running joke in our house.

Arrived to find 3 cars in front of us - no biggie. A couple of cars joined queue behind. First problem is that menu boards can't be seen until you are next to the tanoy so whilst you are trying to decide a member of staff is repeatedly asking what you want and doesn't even give you a few seconds to decide. There were limited lunch options and two items we chose were out of stock, so had to go for a third choice. Drove to window to pay and were asked to go and 'park up' at front of store and someone would be out with it. Why was this necessary - the queue wasn't long! We didn't want to 'park up' which is why we chose a drive thru but felt we had no choice. Had to shunt about to get into a small space and risk our car being dinged by several work's vans also trying to park in tight spaces, probably thinking the same as us. Final icing on the cake was our coffees were delivered 5 minutes later but they has also run out of another food item so we were now on a fourth choice! (these were not complicated items - bacon roll, a wrap, cheese toastie). Not at all impressed and will go the the freelance burger van around the corner in future.

BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. POOR SERVICE. BE CAREFUL IF YOU SUFFER FROM A MILK ALLERGY!! I just visited this Starbucks and ordered a Iced white mocha and a panini for my daughter and a cappucino with coconut milk for myself (as a treat as I think it is quite expensive), which was confirmed by the person taking the order. Don't think it was a tricky order. I drove home and took a sip of the cappucino and realised it was made with semi-skimmed milk. The strange thing was the girl who handed me the drink described it as a cappucino with cocunut milk!! Glad I don't have a milk allergy!! They have to be more on the ball. I was expecting a basic level of service. I'm now out of pocket.

Stopped off here for some breakfast and a coffee. The coffee was ok but the breakfast wrap went straight in the bin. When I pay silly amounts of money (expensive) for a breakfast wrap I would expect some breakfast rather than an overheated wrap. That's correct, the wrap was empty. Not Good!

I bought a coffee from the Starbucks on the left side as you go in. I missed what the girl said as I was paying. I said sorry, she almost shouted, name? I’m not deaf but by this time was feeling annoyed! This is supposed to be part of the Services where you can relax and unwind having been on the A1/M25. Another person ordered some food and sat down in front of Starbucks. The guy server whispered their order was ready and basically mumbled to himself that it wasn’t his fault they hadn’t heard him!

Lacklustre service from the guy on the till. He kept me waiting while he checked his phone, didn't apologise for the delay, didn't listen and got my order wrong so the poor person actually making the drink had to go again. While I was waiting, another customer said, Let's face it, the guy on the till doesn't want to be here." Several other people standing with us agreed. He was quite distinctive with his curly hair so if he's there next time, and we pass through a lot, we'll get our coffee and food somewhere else.

I was at this Starbucks this morning at 8:10am. I asked for 2 Balck Americanos, the lasy at the money counter asked my name I told her and she entered into the system. I am waiting for the coffee, when the coffee was ready, there was another lady calling the customers by their written name. She called "Chris", then she looks at next the cup and says "Chai latte", the looks at the next cup and calls "Steven". Next one is my coffee cup, getting ready to be delivered, she looks at the name written on the cup and calls "Black Americano". I didn't know why she didn't call me by my name? It satrted bothering me. So I asked for the manager and the same lady came forward saying she is the manager. I asked her why she cannot call me by my name, she says I cannot read it, I looked at the cup it is written crealy "*vivek*", aksed the guy next to me if he can read he said "yes". I asked her again, why did you call the other Brown guy "Chai Latte" and then the two white guys Chris, the next Steven, and then me as "Black Americano". She says "there you are!", I don't know what that is supposed to mean, then she says "this conversation is over". Standing at a Starbucks counter, she is doing a racial profiling in a cheap and petty way, and then when someone asks an explanation, she says "there you are!" and "this conversation is over!". Is this why Starbucks is asking name from the customers so that they can be discriminated based on the customer's race/origin of the name? I have been thinking about this whole day and felt so much isulted and bad, as if someone has the right to insult me and then has the license to say "so what?" standing in a Starbucks coffe counter!! This is not fair. If this was a mistake she would have immediately said sorry, but she didn't. She knew what she was doing and she knew what I was protesting about stading alone there, but she just didn't care, maybe she knows she would easily get away with it. Maybe she did it before, maybe this is the norm at that counter. Maybe someone else protested and nothing happened. I am aghast! This was not necessary at any level. I hope Starbucks management takes notice of this and does something about it so that another brown guys doesn't have to here "Chai Latte" or "Black Americano" instead of their names when their white counterparts called by their names with a smile. I never thought I have to write this review but this incidence has shaken me from inside. The brazenness is ashtounding.

Took a very long time waiting in the queue for our drinks. Other people in the queue were asking the staff if their drinks were still being made. Staff were fairly polite but very little organisation or management. Staff seemed to be stressed with little direction given to them.

I am very Impressed and thankful to Harvey who served us this morning. I asked for oat milk in my iced frappocino and has been the only staff member ever to check if I'm allergic to dairy as the sauce they use contains dairy. Thankfully I'm not it's just perference. Keep up the great work Harvey you could teach your fellow colleagues a few things. Great services around. Thank you

asked for a caramel macchiato and was told to they didn’t do it (although only a few minutes later they handed one out) so I ordered a iced latte which tasted rank. I then went to the other store in the building an ordered a caramel frappe. They then preceded to make me a caramel iced latte… not what I ordered at all. They had not given me a receipt when I ordered therefore I couldn’t exchange it. Really unimpressed and don’t waste you’re time going

Shocking coffee. Service especially bad by eva..threw my coffee in the sink after she completely made in wrong...management should explain that mocha means it has some coffee in the drink...no cream usually means no cream!...light means not full cream milk......pathetic!!!!!!

Why are Starbucks so bad at 'service'? On our visit, there was a long queue, not because of the numbers of people at the counter, but because the staff behind the counter were more interested in talking to each another than serving customers. Once served, customers were asking staff for the rest of the order that had been placed.

Just left the Starbucks drive through with what we thought was a lovely spiced pumpkin latte. We had annoyed them slightly because we had the reusable coffee cups (doing our bit for the planet). Back on our journey and we start to drink our coffees to find out that they are not the normal drinks. I can only say is that half the cup was syrup and Luke warm not hot. So sickly!! Cost £8.20 and can’t even turn around to complain. Plus still need a coffee!

As a regular customer to Starbucks, I am always greeted with good customer service. Not in this branch. My drink had to be made three times (and it was still wrong) due to an incompetent server who then threw the drink at me. Awful. Have contacted district manager because of this.

Did my shopping and fancied a take away latte. Went upstairs to the cafe, and chose Starbucks over Sainsbury's own, no beef... just like Starbucks Soya. Staff very friendly, and quick to serve. Starbucks also do vegan eats now, rather than some bags of nuts and berries, as they used to.

At 9am on a Sunday morning the car park here is already very busy. There was no queue at Starbucks and a welcome cup of coffee was delivered quickly. A little happiness from the barista would have been nice. But you can’t have everything - at least the coffee was hot and tasty.

I usually steer clear of the Coffee chains and stick to the quality you get from the top independents. But sometimes when using the Motorway network, your first choice is not always practical. Saying that, the Starbucks at South Mimms is not bad, especially if you prefer its Coffee to its main competitors, which I do.

The perfect local. Doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. Forget the nonsense about the hygiene rating. That was before the present owners and many many years ago. Google keep on putting up the review even though they have been told otherwise! I eat here often and have for years and never had a problem. Great atmosphere. Still the best local.

Visited here this weekend, for the first time. Cute place, with a cycle theme going on. As a vegan, I was excited to see a handful of breakfast / brunch items on the menu. I had the vegan breakfast and my friend had the avocado wrap - both were great. Friendly service and fair pricing. Definitely coming back.
