Subway in Hertsmere

I booked and pre-ordered a Christmas meal for our family of ten. On arrival I checked in at the bar saying we had booked and my name. We were shown to our table, which didn't look very Christmassy and a waitress brought some menus. I explained we had prebooked, so didn't need menus and we were then shown to the correct table. We were asked what drinks we wanted: prosecco, sold out; vodka and coke, no coke; vodka and orange, no orange; zinfandel, sold out. We did get wine and beer. Food was OK. On receiving the bill I sent it back complaining about the lack of drinks so they took some off. I sent the next bill back as they had not deducted the £110 deposit I paid weeks before. Eventually got the correct bill and left asap.

Really disappointed ii wait 30min for my steak wend ii ask why its taking sou long wend the waiters ask the kitchen they just say they don't have any more ii have to eat something eles because ii was really hungry zero stars fore the kitchen team 10 stars fore the lovely girl she was wery nice

Quality tasty food, friendly staff and a pleasant festive atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing food, great service and great price deal. In 20 years I have not eaten better ribeye steak. Chef Zoe was excellent, Callum, lady serving us Chelsea all need recognition. Posh restaurants can hide, we found our gem and will come back!

Had a lovely pre-birthday dinner with a friend. Food was good but service by Louisa was excellent!
