Had a lovely pre-birthday dinner with a friend. Food was good but service by Louisa was excellent!

Louisa was brilliant. Very welcoming with my table, attentive and friendly. Food was great as well. Thanks again for the amazing service from our server.

We booked a table for eight people for this evening for my mother‘s 86th birthday. Last minute we had an additional guest so when we turned up, we informed them that there would be nine of us, the lady behind the desk whose name I believe is Catherine and a manager there, brusquely informed me they were full and there was only that table, she then said you might be able to squeeze round it. My sister arrived a few minutes later and was told the same in the same manner, then telling us there aren’t any extra chairs and when one was found it was not a proper dining chair but lower than the rest. Her attitude was not at all friendly or helpful. This was a special occasion and we have been to Harvesters for many birthdays/anniversaries as my mother likes it here. It’s been a difficult time for our family and this was meant to be a high point in the calendar with one family member making an effort to drive 90 minutes one way for the occasion. I’m just upset that there was such indifference and a lack of care, no apology, no I’ll see what I can do, just brusque and unfriendly and we didn’t feel taken care of, or valued in any way. It was a bit tight around the table but as that was the situation we made do, but her behaviour soured the experience. In contrast, our server Louisa was a delight, friendly, pleasant and helpful, despite serving many large parties and being run off her feet.

We went to the Harvester Saturday night for a casual dinner. Is it gormet food? No. But, is the menu varied? Is the food hot, fresh, tasty? Does it come out quickly (but not too quick)? Is the decor and restaurant clean and decent? Are the staff helpful, polite and friendly? Is it value for money? Yes to all of the above. I asked for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, and our server Yas was more than happy to accommodate, really nice person and seems to love her job, wants to look after her customers. The food was really nice and hot, would highly recommend the fish and chips and chicken skewers. Will definitely be returning. Gave 4/5 stars for atmosphere only because there was a group of v loud people in the bar area that made it hard to have a conversation. But hey - it's Harvester. It's where people go to have a good evening.

Went to Oakmere house harvester Im potters bar for lunch with a friend today. Waitress lily was very friendly and professional whilst taking our food order. Food was delicious as always. Great service also atmosphere too. Have being going to Oakmere house harvester for years. All the staff that work there are very friendly, helpful always provide good service. Friendly staff, good choice of food, good atmosphere and nice surroundings

Lovely warm welcome when we arrived into a busy Restaurant. Yasmin was our waitress who was both delightful and efficient coping with our large party of 11. She returned often to check if we were happy with our food and whether we required any more drinks. Food is excellent value and the children loved the choice from their menu and the complimentary activity pack was a great success.

I would like to praise our waiter Rahim he was such a polite young man with great service skills. I took my mum for her 80th birthday and from the start he was amazing, even organising a candle in my mums desert and singing happy birthday! My mum and dad both agreed with me that he went above and beyond which is very rare these days. So keep up that amazing service Rahim.

Great food and atmosphere, staff were very friendly. Our server Archie was good-humoured and helpful, especially with accommodating a gluten-free member. He checked in on us and gave occasional suggestions which were appropriate and well-timed.

A magical, well organised and delicious breakfast with Santa at Harvester, Potters Bar. The staff were warm and inviting, ensuring that our needs and requests were met superbly. The attention to detail was fabulous and my whole family had a wonderful and festive morning. A big thank you to Laura and the rest of the team!

I felt it was a bit short staff. When we got their there was noone on reception to greet us. So we went to the bar. The lady was serving. I had to wait 10 minutes. I asked where was the receptionist? Reply she does reception and bar. Waited another 19 minutes then was taken to a table. There was only 1 waitress serving the whole 3 hours i was there. I had to wait for salad dish. The salad looks tired especially the colslaw. She took our order. There was no Salmon. So I had to have the christmas dinner. Which was a bit dry. The gingerbread desert was good. However we could not taste and ginger.

We have come for the santa visit, the kids absolutely loved it! Gingerbread was amazing with the children and we'll definitely be back

Archie gave great service, very good at dealing with a large table with lots of different orders. Very friendly and good humour. Great awareness of allergies too, much appreciated!

The restaurant was sparsely populated with guests, but the staff were not attentive enough to our party of 10. I had to call the waitress over to clear plates away and the service was slow for each course.

Freezing inedible chips on 3 meals. Very slow poor service at lunchtime. No salmon meal only vegetarian meal on xmas menu

Food was cooked perfectly this time and salad cart freshly filled, staff friendly. Could improve on the bread rolls as they didnt feel warm and fresh like some other places do.

Lovely service, everything was prompt and the waiter was on point with everything. I dislike unnecessarily waiting for service, food or the bill. But it was a super fast service and we left very satisfied.

It’s been a long time since we have been to a harvester and this was for my brothers 30 birthday, the food was ok but the service was amazing. Rahim Who looked after 15 of us and his other tables was attentive, nothing was too much trouble and he checked in on us just the right amount of times that we didn’t feel pestered. We will be back again, hopefully Rahim will be looking after our table again

Nice place, very large and a great open space to eat at the bar area if you have dogs. Food was fairly good depending on what was ordered. But the chairs, carpets and tables really need a good clean, everything is so sticky. Also beautiful Christmas decorations and friendly staff!

I recently stopped by the Harvester in Potters Bar for lunch, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The restaurant’s interior is beautifully designed, with a cosy, welcoming vibe that wraps you in comfort the moment you step inside. And the garden! It’s like a hidden gem—absolutely picturesque, offering the perfect backdrop for a relaxing meal surrounded by nature. The food itself was spot on—fresh, bursting with flavour, and deeply comforting. Each dish felt like it was crafted with care, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable meal in a lovely setting. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

What really made our visit extra special was the young lady Lily who waited on our table, excellent, kind and we are full of praise for her. She delighted us when we asked her about wine, not pretending to be an expert, but guided us perfectly. Thank you lily. We left Harvester with a new outlook on the place. A few previous visits were not so good. We visited on Thursday 24th October, about 7.30 ish, we had had a long day and we left feeling cheered.

Colouring competitions, spooky stories, Halloween catwalks and dancing hosted by such a friendly and efficient team. Celebrated a family 70th birthday here, evening meal - 10 of us. Great service from Yaz from start from finish and food was great.

We come here all the time and it's always wonderful. We had a terrific server by the name of Chris the last time we visited, he was extremely patient and kind, so big shout out to him for making our birthday party even better with his fantastic customer service!

We've been to this Harvester a few times, traveling from Welwyn Garden City, and every visit has been fantastic. The service is always stellar, and the food never disappoints. The manager and waitresses consistently go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Their friendliness and attention to detail make us feel welcome every time. It's clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in both the quality of the food and the excellent service. We always look forward to coming back and highly recommend this Harvester to others!

Service was great from the moment we walked in. Our waitress Yasemin was perfect straight off the bat from taking us to our table to giving us the bill! Food was also delicious as usual and the salad bar is always a plus!

We go here every Sunday for breakfast, sometimes we go with our teenage sons, sometimes as a large family group but mostly we do a breakfast date. The food is always fresh and hot. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended xx

Nicest Harvester to.eat out. Food is really nice. Staff are nice and welcoming. Toilets could do with renovating. However restaurants is fairly Well presented. This is a nice Harvester and we will be returning.

First time here and it was lovely. We was first in so salad bar was fresh. We had off the lunch time menu, it was cooked perfectly.

Called in Sunday lunchtime not busy food arrived quickly and was ok helps having parking free when you put your registration in tablet

The experience from being greeted, seated and the customer service was excellent. In particular Rahim in the way he explained all to our varying 10 family ages from 6 to 78. He was so attentive, patient and knew all the products. The efficiency of bringing out the drinks and then having all our food at the same time was just so good. Likewise, so was the food. A massive THANK YOU to Rahim and all.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here. The service was really good and food was delicious.
