Absolutely amazing food, great service and great price deal. In 20 years I have not eaten better ribeye steak. Chef Zoe was excellent, Callum, lady serving us Chelsea all need recognition. Posh restaurants can hide, we found our gem and will come back!

We had booked a large table for twelve people and our waiter Taylor couldn't have been more helpful. Everyone was happy with their different, choices. Would recommend.

Walked in after a very long day at work. Had perhaps one of the best steaks I've enjoyed in a very long time at a Harvester.

Went to the Bushey Harvester on Boxing Day. The food was nice. Took a while to get served for everything but I get that it was Boxing Day so quite busy. Our waitress (Bruscetta) was lovely. A few went home before dessert as was getting late. On the Internet it looked like the hot drinks at the end were included in the 3 course meal as online it was included in your choices. At the end we got billed extra for the hot drinks which actually most of us didn't really want as we was full up but as we had ordered them already we had them anyway. When we questioned the manager about this she was really unhelpful and gave me a number for head office which is unreachable. I have emailed them since and have had a few replies with the assistant manager agreeing with me that it looked like the hot drinks were included. Now they are saying nothing they can do about it. Very poor customer service.

This harvester is clearly going downhill I used to be regular the last two times have not been good. Food not as advertised and certainly not good value for money had to send back. Very disappointed won’t be going back

If you love a cheeky Harvesters then The Windmill is the place to go. We have about 4 other Harvesters that we can drive to easily, however the quality of the food, aesthetics and staff are highly disappointing. Strangely I would have put The Windmill in this category before, after travelling there for breakfast a while ago to be told they didn't have a chef. Wayne and the KM have come in and managed to turn this place into a very high standard restaurant in no time. The Windmill is always busy and sometimes that can put people off but please don't let it here, as the aesthetics and cleanliness of the restaurant are kept to a high standard, the staff from the bar, the kitchen and the waiting staff are always friendly and happy to help where possibile and have great knowledge of the dishes they offer. The salad bar never looks like a bunch of hillbilly's have ran through it, remaining replenished when required with fresh and tasty salad options, additional toppings and sauces and lovely bread rolls. I love the new Wing and Wave main course, and I always order my steak medium well which worries me in a lot of restaurants as its hard to cook perfectly...But not here! Shout out to the amazing chefs for achieving a perfectly cooked steak every time. Cuts like butter, fresh quality ingredients and mouth wateringly delicious. Wayne and his team definitely deserve this review and I look forward to the next visit very soon. So if you're in the area or fancy that cheeky fairly priced date night or family night, The Windmill is definitely one to visit. Always remember to download the harvester app and get the card stamped before you pay to enjoy the offers and bonuses!

Breakfast was lovely!! Full English for me and chicken, bacon and waffle for my picky eater. Maureen is amazing, very helpful and knowledgeable if you have allergies.

We had a very enjoyable breakfast here. Our waiter, Freda was a friendly person and gave us everything we needed. Definitely coming here again!

We visited the Harvester without booking on a Thursday night (16/01/25). The service was brilliant, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was fantastic! Zero complaints from us!

I decided to go to my local harvester today and was very satisfied from start to finish , the food was great as it has always been and the service was just as good , Chelsea was my waitress for the evening and she was lovely and attentive . All in all great service very pleased .

It's our happy place. The staff know us well and now know our 8 year old too. They have known him since he was a baby. Nothing to complain about last night. Spot on. Every staff member came over to say hello and take time to chat with my son too.

Hadn't been to a Harvester before. Was really pleasantly surprised! Had a sirloin steak, which I thought would be a bit run of the mill... but it was excellent! We also had the chicken and beef skewers, wasn't expecting much, but the beef and chicken quality and the flavour was really good. Our children also really enjoyed their meals of chicken burgers, peas and chips. The salad bar was also excellent which a good range to choose from. And at a really reasonable price considering. Definitely going back again, ideal for the family, and the food was not just OK, it was excellent. For example the kids chocolate brownies were MUCH better than what you get at Pizza Express - they were moist, rich and with good chocolate sauce. At Pizza Express you get a lump of brownie, which the kids like, but this was a few notches better in taste and quality. Really surprisingly impressed. Think we had lower expectations due to this being part of a chain. We're glad we went! Good welcome at the door. Place is nice and clean, tables etc. clean which isn't always what you find elsewhere. The kids had an activity pack and crayons to keep them occupied. Nice service as well from Maureen who I can see has been mentioned a few times on reviews of this Harvester. Continue what you're doing Maureen, and thanks!

Was a disaster of a night! Booked a table thinking it would help being a Friday night. Had us waiting over 1 hour n 30 mins for starters and mains. Not one person came over to update or apologise. Staff aren’t friendly not to mention whoever was running the shift…absolutely ignorant!

Service was amazing, atmosphere was very pleasant & quiet. Food is good, but less so for me due to my garlic allergy - thus a very limited selection as most dishes contain garlic!

The Windmill Bushey is my favourite Harvester simply based on the attentive, courteous staff. Jamie and Maureen are a great asset to the company. Negatives: The rolls are just not what they use to be and Simply Salmon has been removed off the menu but on the whole an enjoyable experience.

I have had issues in the past l, where I went to Head Office, and was promised voucher which I didn't get from the Harvester Bushey - I still have the emails and the General Manager at the time promised that he would contact me directly it never happened even after copying in head office. (we were overcharged and the service was awful). We have been a few more times since, and we either have amazing service or not it is very hit and miss. Last night was very much the same and by 19.30 the kitchens had closed, and when we arrived at 6.45 half the salad bar was taken away. So there was not a lot of options for this, which was disappointing as when we were greeted this was not mentioned. Chelsea our lovely waitress was so lovely, no issue at all. The food was good, not amazing but good. by 19.36 (yes I looked at my watch) kitchen lights went off and they were closing, thats fine I get that too I work in hospitality, but then you could see the staff rushing around as they wanted to clean so they could go home, I even heard one of the male team say if we all clean together we can get out of here asap, and was directing the team, that left us waiting to order dessert and after to pay. There was only two of us but we spent £80.00, but didn't feel the service was great, I could have spent that another restaurant with better service and food.

Eat there at your peril, last visit took 2 1/2 hours for food that was either cremated, under/overcooked or cold. We've been eating at Harvesters since the 1980's but they are rapidly going downhill & nobody cares. Have a look on Trustpilot where 52% of the reviews are 1 or 2 stars. Never again.

Very accommodating especially as part of our party were 40 late due to closure on M25 but everything came together and we all had a lovely meal and time spent together with great service . If there was one criticism it was that the salad bar and bread rolls were all gone and I had to ask and wait a while for any top ups and not all was replenished.

Overcharged literally Bill was £66. Paid £104 on Apple Pay. Flashed up on my phone just as I arrived home. Had to return to get refund then pay correct amount. So had to fork out £170 as won’t receive refund for 3 days.

Taylor was amazing he’s very hardworking and deserves a raise!! The food was delicious and would definitely recommend!!!

Had a lovely dinner with a super waiter Taylor who was so helpful and couldn't do more for us. In fact all the staff were fab. Really impressed!

This will be my first and last time I come here. I have been going to the Jolly Badger in Edgware for years. As a regular they always treat me so well as a solo diner. Unfortunately my experience at this restaurant was shockingly the opposite. I went with a group of friends. Our waitress on several occasions was abrupt, snappy and rude. We were reluctant to ask her for anything. After a few incidents we asked yo see the Manager. Again we were shocked by her unprofessional attitude and the way she dismissed our concerns, citing she hasn't seen anything. Again the waitress shouted at us in between with the Manager present and wasn't stopped in her steps. We made the most of a Christmas Dinner here and I found the salad bar poorly topped up. Definitely won't be returning and I am appalled at the level of service and disrespect for fellow customers.

Came yesterday after a gap of about 6 months. We had felt some Harvesters had declined over the last few months but we were prepared to give it a chance and see. I'm glad we did. Easy to book on app despite needing table for 6- four adults and two children. Manager, Wayne, was very helpful and attentive, especially with my granddaughter aged 3 who has a milk allergy. This has not always been the case in some Harvesters but obviously its very important that it is done. He went through the salad bar and checked what she could have and told her too rather than just my son and his wife! Food came out in a reasonable time and granddaughters had been cooked separately ensuring it was safe for her to eat. Offered doggie bags for those who couldn't complete their meal. A very enjoyable experience and one which we will repeat again.

I think the food was fabulous the only thing I will change is my steak was medium but the waitress “Freda” was wonderful

Just got back from a delicious meal at Harvester Bushey. Haven't been to a Harvester for a few years and struggling to figure out why! Food was great (ribs, obviously), salad bar was great, service (from Taylor) was great. Left absolutely stuffed. An underappreciated decent local restaurant, which we will be coming back to. Pro tips: - my 12 year old loved the chicken, bacon and waffle - the bourbon sauce is amazing. Probably because it's 54% sugar but whatever....

Very understaffed as usual - Every time I come here with my Daughter I have to wait 5 minutes+ in the entrance just to be acknowledged, and the staff seem very oblivious to anything that’s going on in the restaurant. Serious management is needed in this place. I don’t expect much of the Food here, however it’s getting progressively worse. Won’t be coming again.

I love Harvester, I always come with pleasure, I am very used to the food, I always know what I like and the staff si amazing, I know Jamie from there , very long time , maybe 10 years, she is always very very useful and smiling and chatting. I know most of the staff they all are amazing, and the food is very good.

We were seated in good time, we were served by Taylor, he didn’t have a name badge, but we asked for his name. He was efficient, but a little blunt. When tipping him, he said he preferred cash because he got taxed on tips given by card. Other than that the meal was nice and we enjoyed our food except the rice which seemed to have been defrosted.

My experience here was great. I recently had a meal here for my 24th birthday with friends and family. They catered to all 30 of us amazingly. The staff here were very patient, polite and also very fast with the service. I want to give a special thank you to Taylor, Who brought a great service with a very good energy. His service skills was perfect so thank you taylor.

Came in here the other day and enjoyed my experience here. The food was great, restaurant clean and was provided excellent service from Amy. Would definitely recommend to others!

We stopped here by 7pm, without pre booking, on Saturday 2/11/24. Spacious, quiet, clean, with the tables situated apart, which made it more private. A prompt, friendly service and once ordered, we didn't have to wait for long. The salad bar was freshly filled and tasty. We had a main meal only; chicken combo and rib/chicken combo. The chicken was succulent, well presented, cooked to our liking and the meals were tasty. I enjoyed the experience here and would definitely visit again, should I pass this way.

Our servers, Maureen and her team were wonderful. They were very concerned that everything about our meal was top-notch. The food was excellent, as always. We are happy to eat here as every visit is a special occasion.

The staff were friendly and provided a good service. We went during lunch time on a Thursday as a group of 12 and had no problem with pre-booked seating. We had 3 noisy children in that group and the area we were seated in (near the garden doors) was perfect to avoid disturbing others.

Warm welcome, we were earlier than our booking but not an issue . Really good service by Bozena. Where was the sweetcorn and red onion on the salad bar? Not a big issue but I love sweetcorn! The mains were great, piping hot food and well presented we shared a dessert which was good also.

Went to Harvester to have a meal out with wifey, they have reinstated the lunch time menu, which they had recently stopped doing, We had the 3 course lunch time menu for 15.99 each, not forgetting that includes the salad cart, Lunch time menu served from 11.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, they also have refillable drinks for a set price, We started being served by one server, but half way through she disappeared, think it was possibly because they may have been short staffed in the kitchen, but can't confirm why, The server that took over our table as well as all the others at the time of our visit at approximately 3pm, needs mentioning, Ami You served us with care and helpfulness It was a pleasure to be served by you, Definitely worth a visit especially if Ami is on her shift there, 5 star service from Ami ***** *

Food was not great. Chicken burger not cooked too well. Jacket potato hard inside and out. Fairly busy and not well attended by staff. Previously on a number of occasions we have had great food and service. Not aure what went wrong on this occasion although I didn’t recognise any of the staff members

I have severe allergies and the lady taking our order was really helpful and made sure the kitchen was aware of my allergy and the head of the kitchen came out to check with me about the ingredients of the food. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you to Maureen who looked after us, you’re a star!!

My wife and I went here for a long awaited meal out. We walked in, no acknowledgment. I waited to be spoken to by the bar, by 2 staff members who were speaking to each other. I asked if Dogs were allowed and was told no but the garden area was fine. We made our way there and the area was empty but dirty, with plates left on the table and left over food scattered on the grass, presumably by birds. My dog almost choked on a bone. No one came to serve or speak to us so we got into our car and left. I usually love harvesters and never had an issue before but needless to say, it’s one place we won’t be returning to. Too many places out there who want your custom. Shame.

Lovely server Taylor, went off to double check with the kitchen staff that they had got a different BBQ sauce as the last one the ingredients changed and contained peanuts so the food I wanted on the app said peanuts were in it. Cleaned the table as when we sat down it was a bit dirty from the night before. It was quiet in there. Nothing was to much trouble even though there system had gone down and they were back to pen and paper for orders

The meal needed more veg 3 small broccoli pieces not enough or a tablespoon of sweetcorn really mean. Otherwise the meal was fine.

I visited this harvester during the afternoon. There was ample parking. There were ample seats. I don't normally write reviews however we were served by an exceptional waitress. She was beyond polite attentive and couldn't do enough for us. It was really refreshing to be served by her and this is the kind of service you cannot teach anyone It just comes from the heart. So thank you very much Stacy a big shout out to you for your outstanding service which made our day. The drinks were bought to us promptly by you. The food came out quickly , The order was spot on. You did everything that we asked for. You checked if our food was okay as well as waiting on so many other people. The salad bar was beautifully stocked up. The quality of the food was great. There wasn't really anything we could fault about the food service and ambience of the place. I haven't been into a harvester for a long time as my previous experiences of most harvesters were poor service and poor food and overpriced So this revisit after a long time was very refreshing. It may just be a one-off for this particular branch who knows. Anyhow just wanted to pray Stacy on her amazing service. Thanks once again and to all the chefs also.

Have had several visits on separate week days and weekends and can highly recommend it for service and friendly staff great menu .

Not the best harvest. Ordered the ultimate mixed grill, the ribs and black pudding was missing from my plate. Overheard other customers having the same issue with food missing from their dishes. Temperature was way too hot. Very hard to get their attention when we were ready to pay we had to wait 10 minutes to get the bill.

The food is really good as usual staff are very friendly always have a great time here 👍🏻

The food was Hot in temperature and tasty 🫡 the service by Taylor was spot on, he was absolutely wonderful, he was engaging, offering recommendations, quick service and made us feel comfortable, the atmosphere of the venue was cosy and warm, we will definitely visit again. Had a lovely meal with friends tonight. As usual the staff are great. Jamie served us tonight - she’s so friendly, happy and welcoming. She told us about the new menu and offered us personal recommendations which were great!

Had dinner on a Thursday night restaurant was quite busy but with the layout you feel comfortable and not crowded. Hostess greeted us and showed us to the table shortly after waitress arrived to take drinks order and introduce herself drinks were prompt and left to decide on our order on return she enquired about any dietary needs and my wife said she was gluten intolerant so waitress wet through items that would be safe food was delivered efficiently and was of a great quality as we have come to expect wen finished were asked if deserts were wanted and she advised my wife which were gluten free . Waitress was very polite friendly and efficient she had a great attitude and knowledge of all products available made for a very enjoyable evening well done .
