Starbucks in Hertsmere

AVOID. GO TO COSTA INSTEAD. Very rude & aggressive barista. Got my drink order wrong. Then told me he could not make me the drink that I ordered. Then gave me some Luke warm alternative as they could not be bothered to add the correct amount of ice. Walked past an hour later and saw him get into his white BMW convertible, which he had parked outside the store, with a large ice drink looking smug.

Ordered through JustEat. One hot drink and one iced coffee. I received a half filled cup of ingredients, hygiene sticker taken off and replaced with "so sorry no ice" stuck over the lid. I've called them over 20 times, Emailed and used Social media for my refund and 0 reply. Absolute joke of a place!

Forgot our drinks. People received Drinks that ordered after us. Left us Standing waiting. Extremely rude staff. No apology. Just looked at us no communication. Shocking never had such rude service

Useless . 5 people in the queue , they are soooooooo slow. One manager and a trainee and one on the toll . With a queue the manager walks off and counts drinking cups on a shelf . The trainee gets a drink wrong and asks for help . Waiting 10 mins for a normal coffee , go to costa or even drive to a Nero and you’ll get your coffee quicker ! Painful

Save your pennies and do NOT visit this store. The staff are so rude and do not care at all. Multiple times we have had issues with this store but the visit this morning was the final straw. The staff get your order wrong, charge you for it and then do not want to fix the mistake they made. When you do point out a mistake, they get stroppy and defensive and argue back as if you are lying. Why would I lie about wanting a medium instead of a large? Not only is the service slow but the coffee is of a terrible standard. You can tell the staff behind the bar have just been thrust there with minimal training. A caramel macchiato with more foam than a cappuccino and they'll charge you just under a fiver for the pleasure. Unbeknownst to me, this store is always extremely busy which creates a chaotic and uncomfortable atmosphere with long wait times. As well as this, if you're visiting to try a promotion drink, don't bother, they won't have it. Times are tough and people are spending their hard earned money here as a treat for themselves. For the low price of £4.50 you can have a rude encounter in a chaotic shop leaving 20 minutes later with a coffee that you didn't order in a size you didn't want. I think I'll spend my money in Costa thanks...

I'm not sure what has happened since the refurb at Borehamwood but the new staff team are absolutely shocking! We visit Starbucks every morning for our coffee before work but since the refurb, the service is ridiculously slow, the staff don't listen and get the orders wrong, they are then rude when you politely let them know the order is wrong. They don't seem able to even make a coffee properly. They also never have any of the special drinks advertised ever and constantly running out of everything! Incredibly disappointing - I will now be going to Costa!

I found this busy branch to be hectic and noisy and a bit untidy. The staff were ok and the coffee was to the usual Starbucks standard. Overall, average.

Not the best Starbucks, maybe it was the time of day, mid afternoon Drinks were fine and cake was nice Lots of tables were full of empties Toilets probably could do with a refurbishment Tables were wobbly and need replacing

The Starbucks on the corner of Shenley Road and Keystone passage in Borehamwood is a blight on the brand. They seem to only serve drinks in takeaway cups and it looks like it’s only cleaned at the end of the day. Service is quick and staff pleasant but that’s as good as it gets..

There is plenty of parking in the Boulevard adjacent to this Starbucks. There’s lots of available seating inside and out for those who don’t want their favourite brew on the run. Swift service, my only gripe is that their washing machine keeps breaking and takeaway cups only available... not very ‘eco friendly’.

I don’t want to generalise - not all the staff are rude her - one of them could do with getting the boot though - talk about rude! Won’t rush back - will go to Costas which is just round the corner!

I visited here at 9am, so it was typically busy. The staff were efficient and the queue didn't phase them. I had the fruit toast and a latte which were both to their regular standard. This branch is frequented by a diverse group of people but still maintains a pleasant atmosphere.

Sono entrato convinto di essere soddisfatto dal solito Starbucks, visitato anche in altri posti dell'Inghilterra ma così non è stato, mentre preparava il frappuccino classico la macchina per prepararli si è bloccata per poi non funzionare più, le commesse non sono per niente gentili e ho dovuto fare storie per il rimborso, davvero deluso e mai ci entrerò più!!!

This Starbucks is literally the most unpleasant one I have ever been to. Staff are pretty rude, the place is pretty messy/dirty and it's obvious that there is no one here who cares about the standards. The coffee is alright I guess but if I could avoid going here I would.

A nice friendly coffee shop. Starbucks is defiantly a superior blend, personal choice. Try not to get there when the ‘coffee mums’ are in attendance, otherwise it’s takeaway.

this cafe stays open till 18.30 on a Sunday , while all there competitors closesat 16.30 .. we ordered coffee and muffins , all very good . i visited the toilet and found toilet rolls all over the floor,, i think this should be checked more often

Great Frappuccino's - James is fantastic! sometime it can become very messy inside and outside. Love the Starbucks app!
