McDonald's in Hertsmere

It is maccers what do you expect. Toilets were clean and they got the orders correct. No pickles for the little one's burger. Was offered extra sauce at counter. Tables were kept cleanered and wiped down soon after customers left.

9times out of ten they get your order wrong ways check before leaving

Food and service good as normal but ladies facilities needs sorting ......door still missing on one of the two toilets and no toilet paper in the one that has a door! Not good enough for a busy m25 Macdonald's!

Just your standard McDonald's. Great for a quick bite, good service, decent food. Can't complain.

Very slow service for a non busy restaurant. Seems to be getting very expensive.

My husband is disabled and went to the toilet and while he was in there fell over, the alarm wasn't working, luckily he had his phone with him. When I went to get someone, they didn't have a key to even get in!!!! They had to go and get a knife! When finally my husband got out very shaken, it had been 15 mins which is ridiculous. We weren't given an accident form to fill out or anything else....I have complained to the head office but so far I have not heard anything back.

Waited 30 mins in the drive thru (as they was CLOSED for 30mins to do an update 12 at night) Only closed 1 side of the drive thru had cones to close it off. Had no one standing outside to tell people they was closed so I sat in a que at the drive thru for 30 mins not able to get out. to then have people move the cones for the 2nd drive thru station and drive round then Get his order taken at the window. when I complained about having to wait all that time just to order and they let others push in he threatened to call the police on me. My food was completely cold aswel my Big Mac burger wasn’t even put together properly. I had to do that myself. Not a very nice experience. And the manager was so rude surprised this place is still open. (SAT 12TH OCTOBER 2024)

This restaurant was filthy, dirty tables and seats, the floor was filthy, no sweeping, all staff were behind the tills, doing nothing and the toilets were awful, toilet seats disgusting, floor was sticky this was the worst mcdonalds I have ever been in.

Drive through. First time at a McD this year (September 2024). Food not great. Asked for bacon with a quarter pounder with cheese and told they could only do it on a double quarter pounder!!!! So didn't have bacon. Fries were good, burger was average at best.

The food is what you expect it to be - and the store is one of the nicest McDonald’s around. However, this place gets extremely busy: be prepared to wait for up to 30’ for your order to arrive; even in late afternoon!

I'm not normally keen on McDonald's food, but today, that has all changed! Travelling around the M25 and hungry, I decided to call into the London Colney branch. I was truly blown away that all of the food I had was good and hot. I enjoyed it very much! I was so impressed that I told the manager all about it. Generally, this is a well run operation delivering good and 'hot' food through a team that clearly understands what good customer service is all about.

Food was amazing for a macdonalds. However the place was dirty and the toilets were horrific. When I went it was 6 in the morning so not exactly busy but had a lot of staff around - could have easily had someone cleaning tables at least.

Horrendous customer service, they have changed their app usage. I ask my parents to collect my order on my behalf (on their way back home) but apparently I need to be personally within 100m on the McDonalds. Whats the point of the app then!?

One of the worst of the chain you can visit. No milkshake for months, staff is exceptionally rude, extremely understaffed, they give out the wrong orders to customers, managers look frustrated constantly and unable to manage the workload. Area is highly infested with rats you can literally see them bungee jumping and doing acrobatics at the drive thru and the entrance of the restaurant. Litter is everywhere in the parking lot.

I have been to this place for many years. It used to be far better but now is something else. They waste too much time Chatting instead of serving their customers. The fries were even cold,... Also some of your guys need to take their hygiene serious. At least wash hands after touching your nose. Very poor service.

Food was piping 🔥 and service was great.

Often gets orders wrong. This time I ordered a double Big Mac with bacon but only got 3 patties and no bacon. Also the buns were in the wrong order.

Take away service can be a bit slow at times but great today. Fast hot tasty food.

The burgers were nice. The chips didn’t taste nice and they were cold. This was the start of the normal menu (after the breakfast) so the chips should have been fresh.

Happy with the quality and warm of the food. but really unhappy they gave me the wrong item. I ordered 12 mozzarella sticks and I got 5 chicken selects which ruined lunch.

Got home to find items missing from my order. Should have know and checked before I left.

A Big Mac was put in the box of a McCrispy barbeque smokehouse. Very annoyed as that was what I was most looking forward to.

I ordered this the day before requesting a certain time as it was for a party. It arrived 30 mins late! The kids were starving! Not ok! Especially that a requested a certain time, they should have checked the time and made it earlier if they thought it would be late!!

Very poor service who puts the lid on a large coffee, when it's only a quarter full, The cup felt empty & when I request politely a full to the line cup was what I had paid for a second time the answer back was that what the machine gives out? After 4 minutes of arguing the rude girl only topped up the cup as I was blocking the drive thru. The rude girl serving was laughing at me blaming the machine, the guy putting the coffee cup lids on at the machine was also chuckling... so many failings who certified the machine, the guy working it, the guy putting on the lids the girl serving not interested in reporting the faulty machine... proactive? Not a chance.. shame

More than once now I have had food missing or sauces that come with the meal missing drinks been spilled all over my food. Cold Never have had a problem before but the last 2 times it’s been terrible

Easy Access from Motorway M25 but be aware that free parking is for 90 minutes only. Exit without fail from the CAR PARK. Near TK Maxx there is 5 hours free parking which is just 2 minutes walk

The driver decided to go to Sainsbury first before delivering our food. Food was cold and the McFlurry had nearly melted

Awful! gave me a fork for my mcflurry and a hollow chocolate raspberry and chocolate pie main was ok but everything else was shocking 100% would not recommend

Delivery time kept on changing due to the driver picking multiple orders which lead to my order turning up really cold. I am really unhappy about mcd staff members allowing drivers to pick up multiple orders even though they shouldnt . I want refund

This is a very busy McDonalds - at least at 1pm on a Saturday. However, the service is amazing considering how many meals they are making at once (the restaurant was full, as was the drive through). Some people were really unpleasant to the staff and they just breeze through it professionally, swapping 1/2 eaten items and reassuring people who can't wait 5 mins. We orderered, found a table and had our food in 15 mins. Everything was great buy the fries were a bit cool/scruffy, otherwise it would be a 5.

I am writing to express my utter outrage and disgust with the appalling service I received today from both McDonald's and Just Eat. I placed an order worth £40 through Just Eat, and not only was my meal ridiculously overprice, it never came?!

I ordered a double sausage meal with and orange juice and just got 2 orange juices!!! Ridiculous

Absolutely appalling!! Order 9 chicken selects to get 9 chicken nuggets. Just eat won’t answer neither will the London Colney McDonald. Just eat give you option to get a refund but what’s the point when you are looking forward to having chicken selects and NOT chicken nuggets!!! I would never order again with just eat especially from London Colney McDonald’s. Why should have to place another order for chicken selects and rest of my food gets cold.!!!!

Place was not clean at all... saw 3 staff walk by the tables full of food and plates and no one bother to clean them.. had to change tables 3 times because they were not clean.. first time i've seen a Mcdonals like this

Won a cash £5 sticker off the fries asked to redeem it then they said we don’t give cash and said I had to redeem it online I told them I don’t gave a credit card on me and they took the sticker and gave me food instead. I was happy with this decision until the manager tried to say I gave him a used one the day after…i told him you can check cctv and I came straight away to redeem it.

The food NEVER got delivered. Even though our house number was clearly stated on order, I read it on out street's whatsapp that there is someone wondering around with food, than he disappeared and our order was stated as delivered! NEVER going to use JustEat again. I am expecting minimum full refund!

Was awesome. Until I got £100 ticket for staying 3 mins over the time. I'm not sure where they start or end the camera but it didn't correspond to my Google trip record. So I will boycot McDonald's for 2 years until I've repaid myself for the fine.
