DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE...ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Waited an hour and a half for it to be cold and missing a whole double whopper meal. outrageous! never ordering from this place again.

I ordered at 2pm and just eat just kept telling me more time then when it actually came the food was soggy and cold

My meal didn’t have fries or the free item promised when spending over 25 pound. This means i paid 35 pound for two burgers and two cokes i have contacted just eat and they have not helped me it’s ridiculous to be honest

chocolate milkshake tasted like chemicals very odd indeed I have never tasted anything like it before I would recommend going for something else

Arrived at 9:50 to find the kiosks all closed and the guy behind the counter tell me they're closed, over two hours earlier than advertised. Embarrassing.

Incident - Sat 2nd March 2024 10:15 am Service - Ordered chicken royale with Fanta frozen and needed tap water with it , I ask the manager "can I have tap water " - which he relied "we don't do tap water ask Starbucks for tap water" The manager said it while is was a quite period and in rude manner regardless... should not refuse customers a tap water and then tell them to go to another store for tap water .

Have visited a couple of times and always great food. Staff are very friendly, smart, and professional. The serving reception and surroundings are always clean and tidy, and the self-serve area is maintained. Nice to witness the boss mentoring staff in a very professional manner and passing on skills, pride, and high standards. Would be good if this style of management and experience was rolled out in all stores.

I got the wrong burger. Asked for a bacon double. And received a double cheese burger

We ordered an extra chicken Patty for the royale with cheese and bacon but was missing, dips we ordered were missing too. The food was cold and there was so much sauce actually inside the burgers as well. So was cold and sloppy with missing items

Probably the worst burger and fries my daughter and I have ever had. The coke was flat and warm. The burgers were very small and as cold as the coke was hot. Exceptional UNVALUE for £22. Say no more.

I ordered a XL BACON MEAL WITH NO CHEESE , 9 onion rings and bacon cheese fries. I received bacon fries and Normal fries only no burger no onion rings no drink. This is shocking as my meal cost me over £23 and I received 2 portions of fries

The quality is awful. It was over 1hr 30mins late and the food was stone cold. Worse I have ever gotten from you.

Waited over 20 minutes for my vegan meal. I understand that it normally takes a bit longer to prepare and they were busy, however, the service was terrible! There was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay which should be standard practice in a customer service business. When I asked to speak to the manager, he did not come to me until requested a second time even though he could see and hear me asking for him as he was stood near by. When he eventually did speak to me he was extremely loud and rude in front of other customers and employees. He gave no apology, instead he stated the obvious that they were busy. This is completely unacceptable and I would recommend anyone wanting fast food in the area to choose a different establishment as this place is not worth your time or money. When I finally received my meal the fries and vegan burger were cold. Please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Had a great experience at a very busy BK today. All the staff just great, been awhile but loved the food. Spoke with Yash let him know about the great visit he was very pleasant help full🙏

Blown away by the staff and food here today. Probably the best BK I’ve been to from both before mentioned points. Manager was really friendly and engaging with employees while busy, and taking time to answer an annoying questions about their shakes. Then the food was all very good as well. Cheers!

Coke was flat without ice (like a dark warm sweet drink), half of my burger’s ingredients were out of my bun. Another person complained for the flat coke and they changed it. I didn’t ask because I paid for a good meal at the first time. I went to KFC and had a nice coke without issues.

Sergio was so sloowwwwww. Preferred chatting away for a good minute with food bag in his hand over turning around and handing the completed order over.

Burnt dry cold burger, cold un melted cheese. Dry bun. Both our Bacon Double Cheeseburgers were dreadful. Burner King do not care!

I don’t normally complain about fast food because of what it is but when you spend around £15 you expect the food to be edible. I got my order and the burger was terrible, burnt but cold, very strange, the meat was nothing like their normal burgers, very low grade. The cheese slices were still hard and wouldn’t melt as the burger was cold and as for the bacon , plastic, rubbery slices that in my view were not even bacon. I tried to complain to staff but they were to busy to be interested in me or give me the time of day. I ate the chips and binned the burger and left, Never again.

Placed my order at 1838, turned up at 1950 and the chicken nuggets were missing. Driver said he was waiting in Burger King for an hour. Won’t be ordering from them again.

The lady that delivered the food was really nice so good service there. But unfortunately we had no onion rings which I’ve processed a refund for.

Ordered the meal at2057. Order would be delivered by 21.20. But don't get it till 21. 40 . Got it in my house got it out of the bag and it's all in one bag my drink at the bottom of the bag all warm. And I can't drink my coke like that. Plus the food was not that warm. Putting a cold bottle of coke at the bottom of the bag not a great idea really. Plus the driver got to my house looking for my order with more orders not happy £16 plus for this order. Eating it cold now because I am hungry and because a cold coke was at the bottom of the bag . Plus the driver had more then one order. Or was he taking to his mate outside bk . That why my order cold. Or you email me what happened. And I guess it will be different to what I am emailing you . Good hot food delivered before time

Is the second weekend we stop by, the food quality of this place is terrible. Could say is the worse Burger King that I have been, meat feels dry and burger are served almost cold, without mentioning the soggy Onion rings is just a waste of money. You need really to improve your food control system.

Have it your way is the Burger King motto, except you can't because the self-serve kiosks don't let you customise the burger! Pointless having them. Didn't order because of that therefore lost my business.

Don't waste your time. Despite multiple attempts with multiple forms of ledgiment payment, the order kiosk would not accept payment. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

A good restaurant and friendly staff. Burgers are delicious and Chips are tasty too and fresh.

Foods fresh, it gets very busy so you might be waiting a while for your food during rush hour.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Says close at midnight, they were closed at 23:00. Lazy. Pathetic. A true disappointment. Travelled from Sheffield SPECIFICALLY for this rest stop's Burger King. Haven't been this disappointed since The Force Awakens.

Possibly one of the worst burger Kings in the country. Usual burger king high prices Ridiculously slow service even though customers put there orders through on the machines. Burnt pattie in my whopper which also looked terrible. £9 for a burnt burger, small chips and coke. RIP OFF POOR POOR POOR

Awful! Staff member actually raised his voice to me repeatedly because I didn’t know his process for collect! Talking down to me and refusing to let it go. Food also terrible. When I next want a junk fix I’ll be go to McDonalds

Yesterday, card machine not working. Day after, 24+ order awaiting to sort out... Too regular issue on this store.

Always forget items, food cold and put all drinks on top of food so they are cold wet and soggy!

No coffee - again - I stop once a month halfway on a journey home in the evening for a meal and really need coffee with a meal to perk me up. On my last three visits there has been no coffee available - what on earth is going on - surely it's not that hard to have a working coffee machine. Well for me, three strikes and you out. In addition, the food is slow to arrive and when it does arrive it looks at best thrown together and is luke warm. It really doesn't have to be like this! Won't be eating at this abysmal place any more.

We use Burger King on a weekly basis…. The machines at this service station do not work correctly, when ordering a complete meal deal, the machine asks which drinks you require, but completes without adding it. All staff are extremely rude, would not come and take a look at the machine, to confirm or disprove the machine was at fault….. others were having exactly the same problems and went for food elsewhere….. To top it all off, the manager ignorantly was discussing with his staff in a foreign language, whilst dealing with us, even though, they all spoke perfectly good English….. Had to ask for a full refund three times ….. Disgusting experience, which could have been sorted out simply, if the staff were not so ignorant….. Burger King should be looking at this establishment and its staff closely, as it is creating a very.bad impression of its brand…. On leaving the services, we noted that the manager , was checking the ordering machines……. Why not do it at point of complaining. Doesn’t deserve the 1 star you have to provide, to give the review……. AVOID IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD STOP OFF EXPERIENCE

if i could give a zero i would, staff were horrible paid for food on the tablets went to get the food and they were saying we hadnt ordered any drinks when we had the receipt and then started talking to each other in a different language DONT EAT THERE

PLEASE NOTE - minus 5 stars What a horrible fast food restaurant (on every level) the Burger King is at South Mimms services. I will talk about our rubbish meals in a moment (that cost over £32) after I highlight the awful staff there; rude, ignorant, even when collecting my expensive and horrible meals I was not acknowledged in any way whatsoever. I may as well have been invisible. I myself work in a busy fast food takeaway and would never ever treat people, paying customers, with such indifference. Now the drink - DO NOT BUY THE FANTA SLUSHY, there is a supplement for it and it’s absolutely gross. Myself and my kids left ours. The food - don’t bother paying the added supplement for so called ‘loaded’ fries cos they won’t be loaded, just a small dob of melted yellow and pale bacon pieces atop lukewarm, non-crispy fries. The burger bun was dry, stale??? I had trouble swallowing it. The burgers were (again barely warm let alone hot) pathetically small and tasted meh! The bacon again pale and cold. Whole thing was difficult to swallow and extremely unsatisfying. I usually like a Burger King, it is usually a treat for myself and my two sons but I will never, as long as I live, eat there again.

There is no option to remove mayo, and my ‘hot chocolate’ was just hot milk and water. Burger was also a bit dry. The bacon was good though.

This store is not open to 12am. Burger Kings own website states it is as well as the this page. But I have been to this place on countless occasions after 11 and it's is closed. Basically false advertising. Especially when you come off the M25 looking for something to eat.

Regular visit on business trips, quite surprised by the quality of the food, especially considering it is in a service.

Not used BK an awful lot, still don't understand the apps deals and how to activate them on the touch screen, over £30 for two adult meals and two kids meals seem a bit expensive for junk food

Store needs to update their timing. Went in yesterday at 11:30 and they refused to take my order because they said their closed but initially they should close at 12am

Burger bun was a bit dry. Everything else tasted OK. The ordering system screens were all switched off.
