The best restaurants in Great Yarmouth East of England

Went with local friends but will return with family and visiting friends. I had a shallot tart the sauce was fab. The salad was different in a good way made a lovely change. All the staff were very helpful. The chips caused some discussion with some loving them some finding them to salty and others not liking so Mayb they need looking at? The friend that had mussels was impressed with how many she got. My Elton mess came like a knickerbocker glory and was very nice.

The website was easy to order from and food arrived on time. We ordered a variety of items. The food was generally ok - still warm and good portion sizes. Some of the brisket and burnt ends were quite large and dry. The best item we ordered was the little porkies (very tasty)! @explore_eat_share

delicious food,polite delivery people,deffo order again

First time I have ordered from here and it will be my last, delivery was half an hour later than what I asked for and then part of my delivery was missing. Called to query it and the person on the phone was rude. Food was average, my balti had more sauce than vegetables. I wont be using them again.

Fantastic fishshop. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly. The staff are very friendly. There is car parking spaces available. I would highly recommend this fishshop.

Just had a delivery, which was here in 40mins. Absolutely amazing! The batter was so crispy, the fish was fresh and a generous portion of chips.

Cheap beer good food at a good price.

We've been meaning to visit here for a while and just never seemed to get round to it. I'm kinda disappointed that we hadn't made the effort before because its a little gem. We only stopped in for a hot beverage and a small bite to eat. From the moment we entered we were greeted very nicely by the lady on reception who directed us to our needs. All the staff were really nice and took time to listen and respond accordingly. The drinks and food were of a good standard and at a really reasonable price. On the way out I said something to one of the house keeping staff and even though she was obviously extremely busy she took the time to talk to me. The views from the terrace of the sea and harbour were really nice to relax to.

Had food took for ever to arrive even though the pub was empty the chips were burnt and cold all they offered was more chips and a couple of drinks as an apology used like eating there won't be going back

We had a great experience at Yankee Traveller. The decor is cool and quirky and the staff so friendly and approachable. Definitely worth a visit away from the sea front and the over priced standard seaside food. If we lived in Great Yarmouth we would be regulars. Amazing selection of food and very reasonably priced.

The best roast beef dinner, it was stunning, the beef just melted in my mouth, fresh veg & beautiful roast potatoes, compliments to the chef ! Lovely friendly atmosphere & I love that all staff are dressed smart, we can’t wait to come back, had breakfast here too, always the same standards of food served 10-10 👌

Amazing food,driver very polite and kind

This is the 3rd time I have to complain this week The person taking orders at the time of this receipt not just is always the same person who gets everything wrong Asked for a order few times explain what I wanted with someone in car next to me Nothing showing on screen what we order Then. Parker waited a good 10 minutes they give us the food No napkins no forks to eat the rice bowl By the time I open in no sauce. This week she allready 2 times got stuff wrong And when told about she give a bit of attitude She don’t have customer service and she is not capable of taking orders end off Also other people was moaning they had orders wrong too
