Cheap beer good food at a good price.

Incredibly quick service considering the size of the place. Tye loos were very posh too. .lol

Friendly staff, quick and easy to order at the bar, plenty of seating, female toilets are very clean, with a little lounge area and large mirrors as you enter the toilets.

It's a weatherspoons..... The same place as if you go to Great Yarmouth or Woking

This is a Weatherspoon pub with a hotel. We only went for lunch, so I can't comment on the hotel. Good value in a busy place where most places are a bit pricey. Level access and disabled toilet facilities.

Worse than average by Wetherspoons own standards. Broadly seems understaffed - tables are often full of the last people's empties/plates etc. Hot drink refills - works well if you're prepared to queue for ages - not enough machines for the demand and when I've been here staff don't keep on top of the machines in terms of refilling the ingredients etc. Quite cluttered

They pay company's to get reviews. Do not trust the reviews for this place!

Quick service even though they were busy. Staff and customers very helpful. Clean and nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Always busy, so be patient with the staff, they work hard. Always pop in when in yarmouth for a cuppa. Great location. Spoons food is always good and affordable.

Nicely placed wetherspoons. Next to the bus station, a town centre. I stayed in the hotel. Which was value for money, great room. Comfy bed , very clean. I would recommend staying here.

It's not the best one tbh, Gorlestons spoons is better. Always seems a little dirty as tables are never cleaned

Came in for some drinks on Saturday night before heading on to another venue. The pub was absolutely rammed at 7:30pm, and we struggled to find a table, but secured one over the back. We ordered all of our drinks on the app, which were brought over promptly. Everything was very clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. The female toilets were SO clean and pretty! I’ve never seen such well put-together toilets in a Wetherspoons before! Perfect selfie mirrors and makeup stations to use!

Great busy pub local groups of kids can some time be a pain and you need to sort portion size

Went dor valentine days menu got there at 5pm straight and all gourmet steaks had been sold? Found this disappointing which upset my wife!

Fabulous place, gorgeous room and great staff. Huge room, large shower (no bath tub). Plenty of outlets (with usb’s).

I had an emergency and one of the managers she was brilliant she handled it really well so did the house keeping staff they did so much to help me from my emergency I wish I could pay them all back thankyou so much for everything and the room are amazing clean and very well presented

Poor bar service I ordered 2 drinks and paid for them. I got one drink but unfortunately the 2nd drink got forgotten about. Stood at the bar 10 mins waiting for it .

I didn't stay in the hotel, but I did use the bar. It is clearly a very popular pub, busy with a varied clientele, but the staff worked well to serve customers quickly but courteously, and in turn. The selection of beers were decent and quality was good. Although we didn't eat here, the food being delivered to the surrounding tables looked cooked to perfection. I witnessed at least one member of staff, going above and beyond to please their customers.

We ordered onion rings and they wrote off 4 times, onion rings were not delivered, but then the money was returned, so everything is good, the staff was very friendly, thank you!

Absolutely disgusting. Go in there nearly everyday , ask for all day brunch , only to be told the grill was broke ! Could do burgers etc but not sausage, got told burgers were more important, disgusted with the service and the attitude of the staff . How Great Yarmouth Wetherspoons keep going is a mystery. Never enough staff behind bar and half of them seem like they can’t be bothered…………..absolutely disgusting

I popped in to have a coffee stayed for dinner as the food looks very nice , it's a wetherspoons !! I was pleasantly surprised by my mixed grill , food looked good was hot and really tasty I will definitely recommend this pub for good food as everything I watched come out and be served was well prepared and presented people looked happy eating and drinking .....well done guys

Hi I'm a coach driver visiting great yarmouth for the week. I spend a lot of time in weatherspoon pubs all over the country and can honestly say that this place is the worst I've ever been in. Plate's sitting on tables both tonight and Friday when I arrived. Staff wandering around as if they are lost, no wine glasses at the bar so serving wine in straight glasses and the place wasn't busy on either occasion Food was brought cold and no Staff came to ask if everything was OK. Won't be coming back absolutely appalling

Unfortunately they do not know how to cook a bacon rasher. Looks raw on the plate, absolutely uncooked.

Had dinner through the weatherspoons app, very quick to be served with our meal. Was absolutely packed aswell, so happy to be served as quick as they did. Well done to the friendly staff.

Excellent location , even though it is a new building the inside felt like a pub ,it had that pub atmosphere which is so lacking in so many pretentious pubs these days. It is very popular and was busy but the service was excellent and fast ,we chose to sit by the window and people watch from table 47, our drinks came within 10 minutes of ordering using the app on our phones . Food was great we both ordered the 8oz sirloin steak and it arrived very quickly and didn't disappoint followed by the apple crumble which is huge. The toilets, is as usual a bit of a walk, but for those that can't use the stairs there is a lift . Overall it was brilliant. Will definitely be visiting again.

My partner went to the bar to order 2 glasses of Shiraz only to be given Chardonnay.when saying to the girl It wasn't what he ordered she insisted that it was.proceeded to say he was rude and she was no longer serving him and gave him his money back .why would he order white wine when we always drink red .I can only assume she miss heard him but her actions were totally uncalled for.another member of staff served him but to be honest I'm reluctant to go in again there's a lovely pub called the feathers 3 mins walk away prices are reasonable and bar staff are pleasant .

Went to Great Yarmouth for the weekend and popped into the Troll Cart for a couple. Great location and very busy, but as with most Witherspoon pubs, not enough staff to cope with serving their customers. Long wait to get a drink.

We came here just for dinner. Lovely fresh chicken and bacon salad. And my partner had the boneless basket with salad. Quick service, the food came within 15 minutes of ordering through the app. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. Unfortunately this was left open (radar key usually needed for it) and everyone was using it. When I went in there it was a mess, the seat and floor were soaked. The accessible toilet definitely needs to be monitored better as as a person with a disability, it's not pleasant having to use a toilet in that state. That was out only issue, other than that our experience in this Weather spoons was fine.

Had food a couple of times was hot and we didn't wait long even though it was quite busy. Service was quick apart from 1 night out of the 7 we were there. Staff were all very polite.

Took 15 minutes to get 2 Pepsis. I ordered a straw and the girl forgot so I asked nicely if I could please have it as i ordered one and this young girl rudely told me to ‘go to the bar’ and stormed off. It was not busy. The drinks had been sat on the side for ages and were flat, so I went to the bar to complain and a lady tried to tell me I was wrong but eventually gave me a new one. Very disappointed

Great pub, great prices and fantastic staff, we had a big breakfast each (which we couldn't even finish) and they are massive so not for the feint hearted 😁, Lovely friendly staff on hand to help There's coffee machines with various coffee available from latte to espresso. A variety of tea too. Would highly recommend and an will be returning on our next visit

Went for food and drink. App wasnt working and bar super busy so only half our table got to order and eat food. Venue was clean. Disabled toilet/baby change was really well equipped.

Nice big pub with a lot of outdoor space. Good range of beers, poured well. We went in the afternoons, don't know what it's like in the evening (taxi rank right outside the pub which is handy. Cabs are on meters so you won't get overcharged.

Absolutely appalled to know that my daughter and son was asked to leave the outdoor seating area due to my non aggressive German Shepard dog . Both my daughter and son was HARRASSED by both a duty bar manager and head of security to drink up and leave .Even though the other security guard said that they could sit outside with our dog on the main public pathway. And to the been asked not politely but in a aggressive tone by the duty bar manager/ and head of security to drink up and leave .. Has everyone lost touch these days ? As our dog was as they see in thier eyes a German Sheppard whom by the way sat quietly and patiently whilst my Daughter and son tried to enjoy a quiet drink Our dog is non aggressive. Just really appalling that they were treated like this and made to feel embarrassed.. This of course happened this evening 29th June early evening. I would like an explanation as to why this happened ..if Witherspoon's like to make a comment as to why they treated my family is such a poor manner !!! I am however going to the local papers about this!!!

Went on a Saturday around 6 pm with a friend it was very busy, found a table although every table including ours had empty glasses and used plates on them - no one was clearing. Went to order at the bar after 10 minutes of queueing and waiting I gave up went back to use the app to order, the app would not download onto our phones, so gave up and went somewhere else where we got served very quickly and had a nice meal - this Wetherspoons is woefully understaffed

Food was awful. Bartender explained all meats were just "threw on the grill to heat" after asking for medium-rare steak. All had a rubber texture.

Waited over 15 minutes to order two coffees then same amount of time again to actually get the drinks as one machine was milk and water only and the other kept breaking down When asked if it could be sorted I was totally blanked

Really nice room. Large with a King size bed. Good shower en-suite. Tea and Coffee and nothing wrong at all at a bargain £65 for the two of us.

It's absolutely perfect it being right next to the bus station!! I can easily get home and don't have to worry about being late for the bus. Staff were really friendly and the interior design of the pub itself was fantastic!!

Nice wetherspoons pub slightly dirty but maintained cleaning helped, used by drug filled mutants through the day but food and drinks decent. Ok for a pop in.

2 adults+2 teenagers popped in for lunch, lovely outdoor seating area at the front+back of the building. Toilets upstairs accessible by lift+stairs. Very large pub. Food was served quickly, by friendly staff and was hot tasty+enjoyable. Table was cleared promptly afterwards. Staff were attentive, smiley with good humour, well done. A pleasant visit, we all enjoyed 🙂

Always worth a visit when in GY it’s right near the bus stop and a quick walk up the Main Street from the seafront, spoons is spoons drink is cheap as chips what more can you ask for

Have been visiting Great Yarmouth for 5 years ( every year) and always choose to eat and drink at this Wetherspoons every time I visit with my family ( there are 5 of us in total) where we visit every night of our holiday ( 7 nights) as we always find it great value for money. Unfortunately when visiting tonight I had 2 issues of staff being complete jobsworths!!! I’m not usually one to complain or write negative reviews but feel on this occasion I have to. 1st … I ordered on the app a Pepsi max ( no ice with a straw ) for my autistic son who can’t have ice cubes as he has a tendency to choke on them, so believe me when I order for him I know what im doing … drink came up with loads of ice and no straw! When I said ( very politely to the waitress that I ordered no ice she said “I’ll have to go and check! She then came back with the same drink and said “ Well that’s what you ordered! “ At that point I said well I’m not accepting it ( I explained his disability) she then went and removed the ice and came back with a straw!! Why on earth couldn’t she couldn’t do that in the 1st place I do not know and had the most awful attitude…. For god sake… you’re working in hospitality, put a smile on it! 2nd issue was ordering a ice cream on the app for my son who only eats plain vanilla ice cream. As far as I was concerned I ordered plain as I didn’t tick all the extra sauces. When the waiter came with it covered in sauce I kindly pointed out I wanted it plain. He then jumped on the defensive and said it came with sauce. I pointed out that I did not tick any extras but rather than saying I’ll change it for you he said he wasn’t paid enough to deal with this and again being a complete jobsworth , not even offering to ask me to speak with management ( which I wanted to do but alas no one around??) In the end I just told him I’ll take the sauce covered icecream and to go away as I was so unhappy with the way as a loyal customer ( spending on average £60 each visit for 7 days) I had been treated. On a positive note the other staff I have dealt with on previous occasions have been great….very mixed emotions about this place now and now choosing to eat in the many other restaurants in Great Yarmouth

Ordered food and drinks on app...got food quick had to go to bar twice to check on drinks and found left at bottom of bar and not brought to table....

We waited ages for drinks, and the curry chips came drowned in sauce and soggy. It was very busy therefore staff could barely cope. Nice building and location. I

There was a good of four off us who visited tonight. The drinks came well 3 off them and the Orange & Lemondae glass had what looked like lipstick over it, so I told the waiter who then aplogised and took it back, changed glass and brought it back, the glass was dirty so again called waiter over again who aplogised, this time was gone a lot longer brought drink back over and on first inspection glass looked clean. My mates food came out and she was still awaiting her drink and when asked where her drink was she was rudely told it be there in 2 minutes, when it did turn up once again the glass was dirty so this time, I asked to speak to a manger. The waiter didn't take drink away to re do it just went to get manager, manager took about 10 minutes to come over so my friend was without a drink, when manager come over I explained what happened she aplogised and off desert or another drink so we said once eaten we take desert so she re done mate drink. I had BBQ Chicken, bacon and cheese panni well what can I say about it , was really expensive comes on its own, was dry and hardly any bacon and chicken in it. When I had some of my drink I noticed the glass was dirty but way staff handled things and rude, it just got to much. We went up to order desserts to be told only one was free so ordered apple crumble as free then on app order two other puddings. Well what can I say these turned up the apple crumbles were cold and one looked like it was baby food way dished up, and we was left to eat it with dirty plates on the table. I can't add the other receipt number as my mate done it seperatly but it was katsy chicken curry, bread and butter and raspberry refresher. I have added the amount to bill total. I am disappointed with service, the food and dirty glasses.
