food was cold and wot food you got was a disgrace not happy wont order from them again and the food was dear for wot you get

Had a takeaway, the batter very greasy and half the chips where cold wouldn't recommend this place

Chips, jumbo sausage & curry sauce was lovely, hot, tasty and fresh, beef & onion pie was awful, pasty was dry & very hard, barely any filling, I would say about 2 teaspoons worth, shame as everything else was lovely Curry sauce came in a large plastic pot, large portion.

Excellent food a good old skool fish and chip shop. Great selection of fish unlike a lot of places where it's Cod or Haddock or fish.

Chips seemed a bit anemic, fish was ok,just. Steak pie was hard. Nuggets were externally overcooked.Doubt I’ll be returning to be honest .

The fish was over cooked and rock hard

Fisholicious are always quick on delivery real friendly drivers. The food was hot; however mushy peas weren’t mushy they were stodgy and came out in a solid clump. This needs to be improved on as was a real disappointment to the meal.

First time in many orders I didn’t get what I ordered, but I’m starving so ‘it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ordered battered sausage and chips. The chips we soggy and not nice. As was the battered sausage the batter wasn’t crispy it was chewy tasted like it had been sitting in a cupboard for ages being kept warm. Won’t use again.

Oil was old and fish and chips were poor due to this. Fish also not the freshest either. Shame as chips from here are usually a good. Perhaps now tourists have gone place think they can offer up any old nonsense to the locals. We will not be getting again disappointed

Not as great as it used to be, prices are the same as other chip shops however proportions are incredibly small, the regular chips was more like a kids portion of chips, fish wasn’t that delicious either, not fluffy and crispy, very rubbery and soggy, fishcakes here and curry sauce are really nice, but that’s about it unfortunately, very disappointed

Chicken burger awful, stale bread no sauce, over cooked chicken, chips were rank. £4.50 for a for a sachet latte - it was rank!

*Edit - we often pop here for chips when in Yarmouth but we won't be returning. Whilst waiting to be served a man came in politely asking if he could have hot water. The man behind the counter said no rudely. Uncalled for. And the chips were overcooked having been reheated. Disappointing. One of the only chip shops in Great Yarmouth that fries in vegetable oil and cooks chips separate to any other food.

I ordered rock the fish was terrible there was no fish and batter was really hard could not eat it in the end I had to throw away there was more solid batter I thought it was a bone when trying to cut into eat and just a couple of forks of white fisa

Order had to come a long way as all local chip shops were closed or not delivering. Consequently it was just warm. Thank goodness for microwave ovens.

Chips and fish were stone cold, batter on fish was tough and chewy and onion rings were just flat rounds of grease. Disappointing as food is generally much better from here

Can safely say, without doubt, they're by far some of the worst cooked, tasteless chips have ever purchased anywhere. Been a few times hoping would be better. but each time was served what you'd expect like 10 mins before closing time after a busy day just a scaped mess of rubbery, squashed sometimes hollow chip with a few blackened ones thrown in. The batterd sausage was good bit thats about all. Serve far much better on the market and elsewhere. Would of felt bad throwing them to the seaguls

Visited last year & we were so impressed with the food that we had to re-visit when next in the area. Fish & chips last time but steak & kidney pudding this time. Will be hard to decide between them next time!

The chips are to dry and pricey for food

when I placed the order it said delivery would be approximately 45 to 50 minutes ...fine as I was not in a hurry to eat... in no time at all it was delivered , Hot , Fresh and sooo tasty, an excellent service with food to match ... Thank you .

Went for a couple of hours to great Yarmouth, seen this place in the past, I went in to the main part the young girl was very helpful, asked if I was eating in or to takeaway, I wasn't sure, she said it could be cheaper to take away, she looked and said it would be £1 cheaper, showed me the takeaway side of the shop, £2.30 for regular chips, to me they seemed medium sized and at that price I thought I would be getting a small portion, very filling and in a recyclable container and big wooden fork, unfortunately i didn't have a bag to take it with me or I would have recycled it at home, lovely tasting chips, would definitely go back. Why eat at McDonald's a little further up when you have a lovely restaurant like this.

Lasagna is really small for the price

Ordered from here via Just Eat, order never arrived, after 1 hour tried calling the shop and nobody answered, tried 3 times. No joy either with just eat, shame you have to give a star, would prefer a zero star,

We go here every time we're in Yarmouth, mostly for the rock eel. The portions are decent and fish pieces are pretty large. They do both eat in and take out, but if eating in, they also have a variety of alcoholic drinks available (as well as the usual soft drinks).

Been going to this fish and chips shop in great Yarmouth for years I brought all my children to this fish and chips shop when I came and stayed at the seashore with my mum dad and brother.now brought my husband and my 17year old son to this chip shop I brought my other children

FOOD WAS GREAT NICE AND HOT AND ON TIME THANKS .

On holiday and fancied fish and chips for lunch and chose this chip shop as it appeared to have good custom in the cafe. Typical seaside establishment trying to seat as many people into one area gave the feeling of being cramped and only a few inches from the family of 4 on the next table. The server came to take our order and I chose a small haddock, chips and peas and my other half had a large cod and chips. The wait was quite long for saying it was a chip shop as well as a cafe. When the meals finally arrive the batter on the small fish was pale (I should have sent it back straight away) and when I cut into it most of the inside was soggy uncooked batter. Hubby's fish didn't look too bad but still ought to have had a few more minutes in the fryer. The chips were a mix of pale newly fried and darker previously cooked chips (the latter being nicer). The pale coloured chips seemed quite hard which makes me think that the oil wasn't at a high enough temperature. I can honestly say it was the worst fish and chip meal I've had ever! I find it difficult to understand why someone cooking fish and chips day in day out cannot serve perfect food every time.

Nice food but batter on fish very soggy

First time eating at this fish and chips as my usual has now shut down since i last came, i heard good things so thought i would give it a try however the experience has been awful and ruined my partners weekend away. At first even when we ordered the food i got the impression the waitress was rather rude but let it fly past, we then got our food me a battered sausage and my partner fish, the chips were hard as anything nothing like the usual chips you get at fish and chip shops, the next morning my partner was violently ill, vomiting and had diarrhoea all weekend. Have been to the doctors and they confirmed it is Scombroid poisoning. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! - FOLLOW UP : Called the restaurant today and asked to speak to the manager whom was awfully rude , he claims it can’t have been from his restaurant as it is the “safest place to eat fish in town” evidentially not true as my partner was completely fine up until mid morning the next day after eating at this shambles of a business… Avoid unless you want to be served by rude waitresses, ignorant manager and get served scombroid poisoning and hard gone off chips !!!

Excellent service and for a fair price. Unfortunately, I have sometimes eaten tastier fries with fish.

First time I've been refused a child's menu even explained throat problems. So paid small menu price for a child's meal. Cheap sausages and definitely not worth it.

I had the large rock eel and chips my brother had the haddock and chips it was outstandingly delicious I also had onion rings I personally not a potato fan but theses chips were fantastic but if they had sweet potato fries on the menu I would have chosen them in preference to normal potato we had 2 members of staff serving us 1 was awesome and 1 was polite but she kept looking at me it was off putting while eating my dinner

Most awful food I've had since living in Yarmouth.. The chicken nuggets were over done...chips small portion (paid for a large) didn't cover 2 people.... Fish was for my mother who liked it...

So my mother had fish.. She liked.. My boy had chicken nuggets... They were over cooked... I used to come here before I moved here..... Doesn't get any better over the years.. Won't use again

Refried chips were disgusting rubbish food

I have ordered from here before however this time was one of the worst ive ever had. The cod and battered sausages were very soggy. The batter wasnt nice at all. The chips were like the cut off ends i barely had one long chip and i got a large too.

We ordered 2 x haddock and chips, 1 sausage and chips, a couple of children’s meals £52 Our fish was absolutely disgusting, nothing like haddock probably never even swam past one in the sea. Completely mugged of holiday makers a total disgrace to the industry please use somewhere else that cares about customers.

For the prices (restaurant prices) the food was average. The ambience was nil. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was OK. That's all.. had better chippy teas in Burnley tbf

Came in with my partner today for lunch and was my first time. Food was freshly cooked but thought the food tasted rather tasteless. But presentation was really nice.
