Went with local friends but will return with family and visiting friends. I had a shallot tart the sauce was fab. The salad was different in a good way made a lovely change. All the staff were very helpful. The chips caused some discussion with some loving them some finding them to salty and others not liking so Mayb they need looking at? The friend that had mussels was impressed with how many she got. My Elton mess came like a knickerbocker glory and was very nice.

We went for a meal for my birthday. We shared a seafood platter & bottle of white wine. The platter was delicious. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be going back.

This is a review for the Short Blue pub. For some reason trip avisor just calls it "Gorleston". We had an excellent meal there a few days ago.

Lords LaneJust attending a wake there after a funeral and found the place extremely nice and the food we had was very good .

Sea View RoadExcellent Sunday carvery again. Always visit when at my caravan in Newport. Been coming in here for many years now. Was good to see Lorna and her mum in there again today. Well done Sian for keeping up the great service. I will be back again soon.

Cliff HillNit quite what I expected and advertised the food and service was good but a pub / club cafe atmosphere I expected a quiet meal but the wedding music could ge heard all through the restaurants I probably would only resist for a lunch or drink when in the area
